Bridge

The two men in suits and blue gloves grabbed there files and proceeded to exit the bridge. "The hunters will clean up the mess. Make it seem like a terrorist Act."

The two men with hands of blue entered the elevator and descended back down to Docking Bay 13. They entered their small craft as the deck crew removed the fuel line. Once the bay was clear, the hanger doors opened to the vacuum of space as the small craft slowly hovered out. The bay doors closed and sealed once more as the small craft hovered in the distance, watching the Ziggurat.

Hunters

TK received a response on his cortex device.

//Destroy Cruiser. Make it seem like Tobias Hawke was the cause. All on aboard must be destoyed. No survivors. You have 15 minutes to complete. Rendezvous at Baroness.

Go se! Terrorists!? I could swear that's the docking bay Glory's in..

She started running down the hall. She knew she didn't have time to wait for the elevator so she bypassed it and looked for another elevator.

Sorry to do this to ya pal but ya prolly weren't any better off in that meat locker back there.

She felt a bit silly talking to the man but it helped sooth her nerves.

There's gotta be another way down.

Khei attempted to access the elevator at the other end of the hall, but it didn't work. A small red light blinked at the controls.

Glory

Corso pointed his finger in Becker's face. "Go out there and see how far you get. Your crew may not even have 2 minutes! If you go out there now, you may risk more dying. I don't think you understand what is going on here. The Alliance wants us dead for what we know and they won't stop to we and everyone we interacted with are dead. So go on tough guy! You are on your own! I have done enough and don't even get me started on earning passage. You will have to kill me to move me from this ship!"

Gunfire erupted once more outside the cargo bay doors but it soon ended before Dom could reach to open the door. Without confirmation that Becker was still alive they weren't going to open the doors and Dom might just think about cutting their substantial losses if only to protect Trina. Luckily it didn't go that far.

"Open her up! We're clear!"

Trina's trembling hands gladly opened up and soon they were faced with a whole new group of unknowns. Dom didn't like the look of this and with a shared glance he knew Mike felt the same way.

"Dom. Why don't you go and pull some of that Alliance issue from out the hallway. We may have to defend if they send more of their boys this way."

With a quiet nod Dom went to work stripping anything useful from flak jackets to guns and even a helmets whatever he could gather as fast as possible. Upon returning to the debate on what their next move was. Dom of course was on the side of Becker. Not that he'd weep too hard for Dugan but that was a common respect the two had.

That's what it was all about wasn't it? Respect.

"I reckon it'd be some kind of stupid or another to go runnin' in after Dugan. Same kinda stupid that makes one volunteer for a war. I'm in. Sir." Dom looked down at the assembled gear he'd laid out. At least if they needed they had a disguise or two.

"Of course we can't leave these folk bent on rabbitin' here to pull the rug out. What's your plan?" Helping to assert Mike as the voice of command in the present, they could sort out who owns what later.

Sonya looked inside the ship. Old crew were there. Crew from old Glory. Crew from her ship. She turned to look back across the docks while the testosterone flowed. She picked up another rifle, slung it over her right shoulder.

As she picked up clips and shoved them in her Jacket pockets; Ninjar and Jaime stood beside her.

"No one gets left behind." She said. Her nose all but touching Corso's.

Karyn shook her head as she pulled herself through the elevator doorway. "I'm not going to the bridge. That way would be suicide for me; you too, probably."

She slide onto the floor and pulled her pistol, checking the scene unfolding in front of her. Bodies lay between the ship there and the opposing wall. Above and behind her, gunfire still rang out as someone was firing at the control tower overhead.
But my heart is not weary, it's light and it's free I've got nothing but affection for all those who sailed with me

Gorramit!

Her frustration grew into anger. She didn't feel like searching for another elevator. She worked at prying the panel off to get at the wiring. She cursed herself for not having her PDA with her as it would have made things a bit easier.

If the elevator worked at all she thought to try to call it up via the wires alone.

As Khei was trying to manipulate the wiring of the elevator, a bright flash lit up from the panel and sent a shock through her body. Khei wildly flew backwards, hitting her head against the wall. Her vision began to blur and then she fell over as everything turned dark.

Becker's resolve was strengthened by Dom and Sonya backing him up in turn. "Gorram straight."

"One man goes out there, he's set to die. But a team, they can sweep through the halls as easily as you did that one." His words were directed squarely at Corso before he opened it up to those willing to pursue the rescue mission

"Khei's simple. She was at the infirmary, we'll pick her up along the way on a there and back."

Mike's head dropped for the other half."Ian however," a pause, "If he doesn't get back to us I don't know where to pick him up." His eyeline raised back up in the hope that someone might have an idea that conquered the issue.

Glory - Hanger Bay 14

Corso stepped sway from the conversation and onto the ramp, his rifle slung around his shoulder. He was visibly flustered by the whole situation. He had bummed a cigarette and lighter off the corpse of one of the Officers. He placed it in his mouth and lit it, taking it all in as he exhaled the smoke. He saw that Jenna was at the top of the Control Tower. Just set the timer and get out.. Corso proceeded to walk around Glory, analyzing all escape routes near the ship when he saw something.

A woman exited from the elevator shaft at the other end of the bay in an Alliance Uniform. "Gorram it!" His eyes widened, seeing the firearm in her hand. Corso pointed his rifle towards her. "Don't move, stay down!" He signaled Karyn to stay on the ground with his hand while he trained his rifle on her.

Dom listened to the conversation and while sweeping the halls would be possible in a team he figured a lot less death could happen if they use guile and cunning to make this extraction.

"You know there are three types of people in this world, people who make things happen, people who watch things happen and people who wonder what happened. Let's make them the latter. I got a plan might get us in right under their nose." Picking up the helmet and chest piece he spoke directly to Mike.

"We suit up, load one of us up on a trolley or even one of them fella's in the hallway. All the commotion goin' round they wouldn't suspect nothin' of us headin' to the infirmary. Pick up the lass and make our way to Dugan. Could be a quick way of takin' Khei out too, I doubt she's ready to be takin' a hundred metre dash."

It was not exactly a safe plan and relied on if's and maybes but their options and time were limited and a sweep of an Alliance ship didn't create orgasmic thoughts in Doyle. It was Mike's call so it would depend on if he was ready for more bloodshed and more loss.

Slade looked to TK, and gave him a nod.

"My time is still paid for, so I'm with you. The bridge it is."

Jackson ran back to the downed soldiers, and grabbed up a com unit he slipped into a pocket, just in case it came in handy later.

All was silent now for Gulliver. Her body was given over to the sprites that lay beneath conscious thought and above the complete absurd.

Sonya followed the gaze of Corso up toward Jenna at the DJ booth. The lights of the ballroom sparkled and the gose boom and shrill whistle of the endless dance music didn't seem to be bothering her head as much. Out through the fog and party mist someone walked toward them.

Her. Or her doppelgänger, or her ghost. Probably separated from her when she died. Or her from it. Sonya moved toward Karyn. Corso was going to kill her. That might not be a good idea, it could affect her real body.

"No. It's me." she shouted and took a few steps to be back next to Corso. She looked close, it wasn't her. Younger. Prettier. And an Alliance Admiral. Probably who they were here to kill. They were terrorists. Terrorists kill Alliance Admirals.

"Never mind." she said. "Shoot if you want."

Gulliver turned back to look at those that had joined Becker, then looked up and left and right at Glory. She should probably tell them what to do, she was X.O. of Glory. But for the life, and death, of her she couldn't remember.

Other than the dancing of course. Sonya smiled.

And remembered, "Hoo Boy."
Little Ian was probably up too late. "I should put him to bed."

Get to the control tower.

Made it.

Ten flights of stairs.

Jenna ran as fast as she could. At some points she was taking two stairs at a time trying to get to the top as fast as she could.

Program the bay doors to open on a timer.

Jenna got to the top of the stairs. There were bullet holes all over the walls from all the shooting that had been going on. She reached forward and slowly pushed the door open holding the knife out in front of her hopping that she wouldn’t have to use it.

It seemed that they had come to some sort of impasse. They werent going to go off on their own anymore, but they were just going to storm a ship, or something, maybe. His mind was racing. It was weird. Remy had gotten used to it, just being the three of them, now here they were, with a gang of them, one of whom Remy was pretty sure had died a short while ago.

Whilst Remy liked someone taking control, he wasn't sure about Corso, he trusted Biff more, and when Corso suggested that Jenna make a run for it, he felt that Jenna was being used as a pasty, he didn't like it one bit. Even when Jenna said she was ok with it, Remy still didn't like it.

Remy didnt have a chance to say anything, the next thing he knew, they were moving, and before he knew it, Jenna was gone. Remy ran with Biff, him being the only real one he trusted in the group. He stayed covered though, and watched Jenna's back from afar.

Remy just watched her, making sure she was ok, the next thing he knew, he was being called. Seemed they had found a ship. Remy looked around, made sure that there was no one to shoot at him, and started to run over to the rest of them

Remy didnt know what was going on, he was just milling about near the ship, waiting for them to go, yet keeping an eye on Jenna to make sure she was doing ok.

Karyn sat her gun on the floor in front of her as she checked the hanger bay. The man with the rifle stood between her and Dugan's ship with several others gathered around, all brandishing weapons. The gunfire had died down, and here she was, trying to decide for the last time which would be the prudent course to take.

Not since she had accepted this role as a security enforcer; when she had read the reports of some of the things the Alliance was trying to do, experiment on civilians; testing out drugs and artificial technologies on ... It's not something I can report; nor can I just turn away and ignore it. Not this way, this was NEVER what I would have expected from the Alliance.

She sighed, and then slid her pistol away from herself, skidding it toward the man watching her. Then she felt Dugan slip up behind her. "Tell them who you are!"

Ian had followed along with Karyn in solitude, keeping everything inside.

The doors opened and he stepped out in a smoking mess. It reminded him of Bernadette all over again.

Someone had shouted for the Lt Col to drop and she complied. It was then that Ian realized that he had spaced out of a second or two.

Bad thing to do in a fire fight. he heard a gruff voice say that sounded a lot like his old Engineer, Falstaff.

Ian smiled and slipped beside Karyn, Ghost and Ryder at the ready, Death dances at his side and his Black duster bellowed in a non existent breeze.

From Karyn

Tell them who you are!"

"I don't know who ya are, but I'd suggest you step out of the way from between me and my ship."

It was at that moment that he recognized Sonya.

"Sonya."

He smiled, his guns never left Corso, and his eyes were at a spot between Sonya and Corso.

"Wondered where you got to since leavin the Baroness. Seen Tobias anywhere? We're lookin for him. He might need a ride after this. Sides, It would be nice to get the crew back together."

He paused

"You can get up Colonel."

To the others

"She's with me. Any problems with that? ... I'm Ian Dugan, Captain of the Glory."

Nods of approval met Doyle's idea, a grin creeping across his face as he processed it. His reaction reflected an I wish I'd thought of that. "That's smart. We can move a lot quicker." An approving pat met Dom's arm before commotion occurred down the hallway.

"Woah hey hey." Becker rushed down to catch up with Corso, before placing a hand over his rifle and pushing it down. "That's Ian."

Mike carried on towards Dugan. "Gorram we were worried." His gaze fell back to Corso. "And we got company. That's Lane's brother," a pause to let that set in, "came in tow with Sonya." There was much to discuss but pressing matters came first. "We're just missing Khei, but Doyle had an idea. We can dress up as Alliance and shoot down to the infirmary. Then we can bolt as far away from this ship as possible."

Docking Bay 14

Jenna opened the door to the Bay Tower as a bullet whizzed past her head, pinging off metal in the distance. The sound caused her ear to ring as she saw a mortally wounded Officer laying against the wall with his hand on his chest, breathing heavily. There was a large computer that faced the now broken window with shattered glass and blood covering the screen and controls. The Officer pointed his sidearm towards Jenna and prepared to fire off another shot.

Corso lowered his rifle, placing it back on his shoulder, analyzing the situation. "So now we are taking a purple belly with us?" He wasn't one to shoot a woman, but he had no problem with leaving her here. Corso made it a point to ignore Ian.

Suddenly all the access points to the docking bay opened as dozens of Marines poured in. They were dressed in black combat fatigues with full body armor. They were armed to the teeth with high powered rifles. Several waves poured in like a sea of black, at least 30 to 50 of them so far. Corso cursed to himself and looked over at Biff. "Incoming! Get out of there!"

Karyn gathered herself and stood; acting quickly as the troops flowed in. She turned and spoke with authority.

"STAND DOWN! These are civilians NOT terrorists. The enemy you seek are up on the bridge! Has anyone heard from Command of late? I believe Command has been compromised."

She then turned to Ian. "I might be able to help get your missing from Medical. First, we need to get your crew on board your vessel with no more gunfire."
