Wolfgang Idaho sat on the cold steel bench, looking around the dimly lit prisoner ship. He felt the cold steel of the shackles restraining his legs and his hands in the front to the bench. The ship wasn't large but it was heavily armored and escape proof. At least that's what the Alliance wanted you to think. At the front of the ship, beyond a thick steel door was the bridge. To the rear was the engine room where he could hear a loud humming sound. The Baroness became a distant memory as he was en route to the Core planets to await his execution. He sat in thought, analyzing the situation.

The shackles were tight, he couldn't break them. Idaho felt like an animal in a cage, desperate to escape at any cost. Straining his muscles, he tried with all his might to break free. It was no use. They would be in Londinum soon where he would face a Military Tribunal and surely be executed as a Traitor and Murderer. Looking up at the ceiling he did something he hasn't done in years. He prayed for deliverance.

Idaho sat there with no hope left and he exhaled deeply. All of a sudden he heard gun fire coming from the turrets of the Prisoner Ship. A loud explosion rattled the ship as the lights flickered on and off. Screams could be heard as another loud explosion ripped through the ship, causing the lights to power off completely. Red colored lighting started to illuminate the area as the auxillary power kicked in. He could smell smoke as the ship started to spin out of control. Idaho became lightheaded from the lack of oxygen that was leaking out the ship and he passed out, his body hunched over.

Running....

Faster......

Idaho could feel his heart beating like it was going to explode out of his chest. He ran through the alley ways of Eavesdown, sweat and blood dripping down his face. He was still in irons, but the chain securing him to the ship had snapped off causing it to drag and rattle behind him. Idaho wasn't sure what caused the prisoner ship to crash. He also wasn't sure how he survived. But he knew they would be coming. This was his last chance to escape. He looked down while he ran, blood was dripping out of him. He was badly injured. A piece of shrapnel was sticking out of his left ribs. His Alliance combat training kicked in and he attempted to hold pressure on the wound as he ran with a piece of cloth he ripped from his shirt.

Too much blood.. Idaho was getting weaker and his running was now turning into a fast limp. Overhead multiple police and emergency vehicles buzzed by. Idaho ran down another corner and into another alley before he stumbled into the side of a dumpster and rolled around it, slowly siding into a seated position on the ground. I"m spent.. he thought as he grew weaker, looking down at the pool of dark blood in his hand. Idaho slowly blinked a few times as his vision slowly faded into darkness.

Idaho..... Lieutentant Idaho!

"That's an order Lieutenant." The Captain yelled. "SHOOT!" The Captain yelled again.

Lieutenant Idaho in his full assault gear had his sidearm trained on a small squadron of browncoats, 6 of them. They were kneeling and their hands were bound behind their back. They had surrendered. There is no honor in this.

His hands tightened on the grip of his sidearm, showing resistance to the Captain's orders.

The Captain drew his sidearm and pointed it at him in an attempt to intimidate him to follow orders. Idaho however, had a quick trigger finger and aimed at the Captain's chest, blasting two holes into him. The Captain, collapsed dead. The squad of browncoats were amazed at what just happened.

Idaho looked down at his sidearm, realizing what he just did. Realizing that he just changed his life forever. Then came the rain...

Heavy rain fell in the alley on Persephone. Idaho started coughing out blood, focusing up at the black sky as rain dripped down his face. His vision then faded to darkness again as he passed out.

"Wake up..... Mister... wake up...."

Idaho's eyes opened to partial darkness. A candle was lit nearby him providing only a small amount of illumination. He was laying in a bed, shirtless with bandages wrapped around his chest. He tried to move but felt severe pain from where the sharpnel had been. "Ugh." He groaned as he laid back down.

Something was different though. The chains were gone, he was no longer bound.

He looked towards the door and saw a young black girl, just staring back at him. She couldn't be more than 7 or 8.

"Hello...?" he muttered, obviously still in a weakened state. Idaho was clearly confused at the turn of events.

The girl suddenly charged at him, transforming into a hideous beast with long claws and fangs, jumping onto to him and ripping his chest apart, blood and guts everywhere. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" He yelled in pain, waking up handcuffed behind the back and sitting in a chair. He was in a bright white room. Idaho felt disoriented and drugged. "Where am I... What is real..?" He coughed, still feeling pain in his ribs.

He looked up and saw a blurred figure in a suit. The figure walked over and whispered in Idaho's ear. "You are safe now. For you no longer exist. You are dead. We are here to take care of you, and make you better. Luckily we found you in that alley." The figure then injected a needle in Idaho's neck and whispered. "Sleep..." Idaho tried to resist, "No... No....! Ughh." Idaho's head slumped downward.

"What's your name?" A female voice asked.

"I don't know." Idaho responded.

"Where were you born?" She asked again.

"I don't know!" Idaho held his head in his hands, visibly agitated.

"Time for your injection..." She said softly, walking over to him with a syringe.

"No more! Please!" Idaho cried out.

Idaho blacked out, waking up in an all white room. Days would become weeks and weeks would become months. They would give him daily injections in order for him to forget and let go of his past. Then they introduced the brainwashing. Audio was constantly playing in an attempt to subconsciously create a new identity, rewriting who he was.

Then came the physical enhancements. They replaced all his internal organs with genetically modified ones. The end result being enchanced physical strength and agility. His brain was operated on in which they made sure to cut away pieces that would remind him of his former self and remove the part of the brain that controls pain. They then placed an explosive implant in his brain as a fail safe. His missing eye was replaced with a cybernetic one which allowed his vision to be restored and gave him the ability to lock onto heat signatures.

After several months of mental and physical rehabilitation he was outfitted in a black exoskeleton suit. On the neck of the suit was a needle that was embedded into his spine. It would measure his heart rate and when needed would dump adrenaline into his body. The suit itself provided advanced resistance to blades and bullets.

"119, Report." A voice chimed in through the comlink in his ear.

"I am in Verbena's orbit. Awaiting further orders." 119 responded while sitting in his small one man vessel.

An image of Tobias Hawke appeared on the console in his cockpit. "Eliminate Tobias Hawke." The voice responded.

"Order received." 119 began his descent to the planet Verbena.

119's ship slowly descended into the atmosphere of Verbena, landing in a heavily wooded area near the outskirts of the Capital. Pressure escaped from the ship as the cockpit window slowly lifted. It was getting dark and storm clouds were approaching. 119 jumped to the wing of his ship and removed equipment from inside of the cockpit. He then shut the cockpit window and jumped to the ground and looked towards the direction of the Capital.

He was dressed in a black skin tight exo skeleton with a katana sheathed behind his back. Holstered to each thigh were two experimental plasma handguns. He was bald and his cybernetic eye glowed with a red hue in the dark. 119 then placed a exo skeleton mask on and secured it as it made a sharp hissing sound which abruptly faded. The mask enabled night vision and provided 119 with a steady supply of oxygen. He then slung a powerful sniper rifle to his shoulder and began to jog towards the Capital.

119 positioned himself on the roof top across from the Nashfield Hotel. It wasn't hard to find Tobias Hawke due to his towering size and distinctive features. Not to mention explosions and destruction seem to follow him. Tapping into the local police security feed he was able to triangulate his position. Through the scope of his rifle he observed Tobias sitting at a table speaking to an older man. How Careless. He thought, taking note of Tobias sitting near a window. He watched the two converse as he aimed for Tobias's head. Once his target was in his cross hairs, he exhaled deeply and pulled the trigger.

Crack!
