Sonya didn't know what had happened, 'clear' someone shouted, the instinct to let go didn't kick in. But Marcus absorbed the shock, so much for that myth about a stun gun transferring to anyone holding the stunnee. Or so she figured as she extricated herself from under Marcus' legs.

She stood and looked about. First things first, she practically leapt out into the hall and crept quickly down the hall to listen. Important about running away, look for pursuit before you let your feet fly or hammer the throttle down. Speed didn't mean much if you ran headlong into something worse.

"O.K." she said quietly as she slipped back between the cells, speaking to Corse, "We need you now, why?" But she smiled at him, "Are the secure lockers on the way to your ship?" Sonya described where the lockers were. "Like I said, I've got cash."

"And guns." Gulliver said just loud enough for everyone, she gave a look to her conspirators. Handsome was puking, the others mopping up, searching.

Then the panic thoughts crept in. They'd know who she was, she'd given them her name, if they were listening. Had all their faces on camera. Too late for such thoughts.

"So tell me about yourself Khei, what puts you on a ship like Glory?""If you don't mind sharing, totally fine if you don't"
Khei had only shaken her head at Mike's first inquiry. Beyond gossip and banter between nurses, nobody had said anything.

When he took a seat and asked her about herself she tried to judge just how much she should say.

Eh. I imagine my story's 'bout as dull as anyone else's. Was workin' in a repair shop on Beylix when my boss got hiself pinched for suspicion o' smugglin' an' th' feds closed up his shop. Found myself without a job an' heard The Baroness was th' place t' go fer folk to find work an' so I came here.

Corso smiled at Sonya. "You need me because I got the fastest ship and something is telling me that you desire something fast." he winked. He looked over at the security console by the door. "In the corner by the console there is a locker that contains all your personal effects that you had on you. In terms of the secure lockers... Depends there are several around the station. Some by lodging, some by the bar and some by the Docking Bays. All I know is we need to get to my ship in Docking Bay B before someone is alerted to our escape and before the Feds get here." he gestured his hand to the security console. "So if you folks would be so kind to let me out. Time is money."

Saren woke to the loud screams of a man calling for help. "Wong ba dunh! Why do people gotta make so much gorram noise?!" she muttered under her breath. Saren was not in a good mood as she was abruptly woken up from the closest thing to a good night's sleep she's had in months. Struggling to get up out of the position she's been resting in for the past few hours, she tried to peer around the bars to see who was the culprit of the noise. Saren couldn't see anything, mainly due to the fact she had one bruised eye from the fight that had landed her here in the first place.

As Saren started to stretch out the knots in her back and legs, and to check out her bruises, she heard what she thought was an electric shock. The noise was not unfamiliar to her, as there were constant times when she didn't want to just "sleep it off" for the night.

What the hell is happening out there? she thought to herself. She cried out, trying to figure what was happening out there and waited for a response.

Since the frantic scramble that resulted in one unconscious guard, the cell block seemed to have gone totally silent, save for the muffled retching coming from the Companion and Cyrus' footsteps as he moved down towards the next cell, ready to release the 'captain' from his prison. So when the sound of movement and a young girl cursing echoed up towards the old man, it took him a few seconds to realise he'd actually heard it.

He turned a few seconds later, squinting slightly as he stared up the hall. When he saw her, a young lady still likely to be in her 20's, his mouth dropped open a little for a few seconds as he processed the situation. Son of a... what? His outstretched hand, facing towards Joseph, slowly lowered as he took in the situation.

"Saren?"

As there was no immediate response, Cyrus quickly turned back to his makeshift companions, focused on Joseph as he pointed one lazy finger towards the cell he was standing beside.

"Get the access card, get this open, then bring it down..." He trailed off a little, already walking quickly away from the group, headed towards the small cell at the other end of the prison block where the young lady, Saren, had just awoken. Am I dreaming...?

Meanwhile, half of Joseph was busy searching the man, fingers mentally crossed for a sidearm of sorts. The other half was too busy listening into the background chatter that regularly filled a prison escape. Whispers, that was the one to watch out for, those whispering bastards who had other plans. None such yet. Bingo, the keycard attached to the guards belt via an extendable cord. He gripped onto the thing and yanked, breaking the material with a quite snap.

"Ask, and you shall receive." He spoke to the unconscious body, holding the item between two fingers above his head for anyone who would take it, he was busy still searching. Air ball ticket? Well, being framed for murder and all, twas only fair. He slide the small stub into one of his shirts pockets with a wide, internal smile, before slapping Marcus lightly on the chest twice, as if to thank him.

"So, escape?" Joseph asked quietly, rising to his feet but stalling halfway as he noticed the discarded stun baton on the ground. Yoink he thought to himself, reaching over toward Remy's feet and picking the little beauty up. Finally reaching standing, he looked toward the worried Companion. "Sure you won't be needing this?" He asked with a smile, waving the baton beside his own head with a playful smile. He took it all back, shiny shock batons, might look like child's toys but oh the fun that could be had.

Before the fellow even had a chance to reply, Joseph was moving out of the cell, baton in hand, glancing from side to side, checking the corners and other spots of the room he hadn't seen on the way in. No point in getting stung so early in the game.

Sonya smiled back at Corso. She tried to act impressed, though hardly was yet. They'd believed him, they'd believed the guard. Truly rutted was looking more and more likely.

"It's on the way then." She said, refering to where her things were. She headed back into the cell, knelt near the Companion for a moment. Her fingers motherly stroked his head. 'poor boy'.

"If you aren't up to it, just stay put, we'll lock you back up." Which wouldn't look none too good either for him. So she stood again, headed for the guard, grabbed him by the scruff of his collar and dragged him across the hall to Corso's cell.

Sonya waited for Joseph (Val) to open it, to deposit him within. "your plan, you should get all the credit." she said, with every intention of leaving the man in Corso's cell.

From what Joseph could see, the Cell Block was clear of any problems at the moment. Corso laughed and his eyes widened, obviously impressed by the strength of Sonya. "I don't care what you do with the Brute. Just hurry up with the opening of the Cell, and get me some of what your taking."

Joseph thumbed the batons safety switch on, before fastening it to a medium sized clip hanging from the rear of his belt, the tip of it just poking out below the end of his trailing coat, and approached Corso's cell with the clearly unwanted keycard in one hand, and a wide smile on his face which seemed to fade slightly when he laid eyes on the man. What was it they said about bad feelings?

He stopped infront of the cell door, eyes falling on the Captain for a long second, narrowing momentarily before quickly turning to Sonya, who had Marcus in hand. Joseph flashed a grin, before turning back to their co-conspirator.

Between two fingers, he held the keycard just above the gates locking point. "We're trusting you, Captain." Again, he let the title hang like a weight in the air, drawing in a slow breath after as he observed the mans response. "Try not to make a mess." He then added with a nod, inserting the card into the locking slot in an almost effortless motion. Something inside him sighed sadly.

The lights on the lock flashed briefly, red, generally not a good colour. He removed the card from the lock and checked the back of it. Nothing, at least, nothing to prevent it working. "Seems we've got ourselves a special lock." He said aloud, to no one in particular, rotating the card infront of him as he finished his examination with a slow shake of his head.

"Come on." Joseph said with a grunt, and then he was on his heel and toward the cellblock door, keycard in one hand, the other arm trailing behind and toward his back. Joseph definitely had something in mind.

Khei

"Found myself without a job an' heard The Baroness was th' place t' go fer folk to find work an' so I came here"

"And got lucky," he said with a warm smile, before his eyes returned to looking in the direction of the Ian's room as he spoke. "Pretty much the same way I found Glory. Saw Ian and went knockin' on his door." After a little bit of thought, Becker felt the need to correct himself. "Wasn't actually his door back then, but that's besides the point. Ain't found a place I'd rather be since."

He looked to Khei. "I hope you come to feel the same way about her." His words were filled with sincerity.

Ian Dugan

"Rain!"

The call was muffled, but was most likely from the room Mike had kept his eye on. He raised immediately and headed for the door. The most likely rule was that he wasn't allowed to be in there, but that didn't stop Mike pushing the door open to check on his captain. As it was, Dugan was being ushered out by the nurse and seemed to be in good health.

Mike was glad of the sight. He breathed a little easier and relaxed his body. The first thing Mike could then think to do was hold up the object in his right hand. "Got your Ident Card."

Saren could hear muffled voices, and one in particular she could identify to be a male's voice, moving closer to her cell.

"Who's that? How do you know my name?" she called out into the air. She couldn't see a thing and for all she knew it could've been another guard to take her away. There's no way they're gonna take me without a fight! she thought to herself. Saren didn't want to be caught unguarded, and she was starting to get anxious, so she decided to back up to the cell wall and await for the man who had called her name.

Cyrus, still in shock and moving faster than the pain in his leg should have allowed him, made his way to the front of the young ladies cell, one wrinkled hand grabbing hold of the bars to help prop himself up, peering in at her. Surely she remembers me. It'd been years since they last met, two or three at least, but he'd never forget that face. The screams of the innocent

"It's me. Don't you remember me? Ruttin' hell, what're you doing locked up in here?!" He'd totally lost focus of the rest of his group, staring at Saren, only just grasping the situation as a whole. Yes, it was her. But she was in prison. Well, come to think of it, so was he. For now.

"What've you done this time?" His tone changed then, from shock and surprise to the weary kind of one a father would give his child after catching them sneaking in at an ungodly hour.

Remy finished up, it was the initial shock of what he had done, and dealing with it mentally which led him to be sick. That and the smell. It smelled cooked. He wiped up his mouth and stood up, it seemed that everyone was in 'flight mode'.

Sonya started to talk about her stuff, he needed his stuff as well, well, some of it. Not all of it, it seemed like he would need to travel light from here, and all he really needed was the sentimental value stuff, and maybe some essentials, but not everything. He had brought his whole life with him from the Companion House, and would be leaving most of it here it seemed.

Everything was just moving quickly, people were talking, but he wasn't really listening, he was just going wherever they led him.

He walked out slowly of the cell they were in, and started following them, he was trying to collect his thoughts, think of what was next on the list of them getting out. He didn't want to be a burden on them, and if listing what was next helped him, then he was going to do it.

"What've you done this time?"
" Wo bu shin wo dah yan jing! Cyrus?!" Saren exclaimed in a confused tone. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. The last time she had seen Cyrus was in Ariel 3 years ago.

Saren gave Cyrus a little smile, He's exactly the same... she thought.
"I've not been living well these past few months... I stole some food, I hadn't eaten for days. I didn't want to give it up, so I fought for it, and landed myself here." Saren was not a stranger to these cells, and she knew Cyrus had some run-ins with the Alliance but to see him in front of her here, it was just so out of place for her.

"We have so much to talk about, but I don't think here is the best place. How about you cut me loose and we go get a drink for old times sake?" As she gestured to her locked cell door.

"Jesus."

It had been that long. He could hardly remember it. That apartment he'd called home for nearly a year, the pouring rain. Memories came flooding back and the old man struggled to keep from going all nostalgic. His military discipline quickly kicked in, however, and he assessed the situation. If she's really in trouble, a quick slip out of prison ain't gonna do her any harm. Not compared to what she's been through...

"Ok." He turned away, a grim smile on his face, half ignoring and half laughing at Saren's comments. She was as lost as he was, but no doubt just as mischievous as he remembered. Cyrus turned his attention to Joseph down the way, one hand still firmly holding onto the bars of the young ladies cell door.

"Let's get these doors open and get moving, dong mah?" The sentence almost sounded as if the situation was suddenly enjoyable. He turned back to Saren, offering another weak smile.

What a day.

Joseph continued on his one man march toward the main cell block door, keycard at the ready. The rest of them chatted away in the background, though Remy remained awkwardly silent. Companions, lovely decorations, just don't get them too dirty. Cyrus had even managed to make a new friend from what he could tell. This cell block sure was friendly, one might even say it was filled with desperate spacers who'd do or say anything to escape punishment. Like himself.

Cyrus had said something from the other end of the hall, it took a second for Joseph to register before looking back and replying "Patience friend, all good things..." he managed to get out, trailing off as his attention shifted back to the search, eyes rolling around the room. Lockers. Not usual to keep prisoners gear so close to the cells, but this was a space station and from what he could tell they didn't exactly seem to follow any set rules. Certainly worth a try. "Got lockers here" he announced to the world in general, no apparent interest or hope in his voice.

Then he spotted it, a possible access point? The screen layout looked familiar enough at first glance, of course it was locked though. Joseph shook his head and approached the console, gorram tech nonsense. There was a slot just below it, just about big enough for say, a security card. He slid the thing in, the circle flashed from red to green. "Shiny" he said to himself with a fresh smile, which then faded from his face a fraction of a second later as the simple layout of the screen faded away to reveal a mess of menus, symbols and strings of numbers.

"Shee-niou high-tech go-se!" he exclaimed, resisting an urge to give the thing a thump. Instead, he looked over his shoulder and added "We have a problem. Anyone here from tech support?" Hell, it was worth a shot. No real point in half an escape.

Joseph observed several different options pop up on the security console.

What is your query?

1. Open Cell (Insert Number)
2. Open Lockers
3. Sound the Alarm
4. Access Station Cameras
5. Open Security Door
6. Log Out

The screen appeared to flicker for a moment, before revealing a much easier, Joseph - proof user interface. Polite question, listed options. If only everything were so simple. They were in a hurry, but rushing never did anyone, especially escaping prisoners, any good. He pondered the options for a moment, before reaching out and selecting number 2. A faint background click sounded. Perfect so far. "Your items folks. Bare with me a moment." Joseph broke a smile and looked over his shoulder, looking down the cellblock for cell numbers, but unable to find any. Would it kill them to label the gorram things?

He sighed and looked back to the console, returning to the original menu with a simple swipe across the screen. Never was good at guessing. "Going to need some numbers here." he announced with an internal groan, and with that he selected number 4. It would certainly help to know where they were going, what they were up against, if there were any feeds of the womens showers, you know, prison escape stuff.

Gulliver shrugged nonchalant when the card didn't free Corso, but started to worry. A jailbreak on a skyplex with nowhere to run. Not off to a great start. She gave Joseph a look and wondered if maybe he'd been a bit on the tricksome with the swiping of the card, but it looked straight. She lowered the unconscious guard to the floor next to Corso's cell door like she was just leaving her luggag for a minute.

'stop with the paranoia, at least wait until things start getting worse'
"right." said Sonya in equal cynicism of her internal voice, but apparently to the situation. She followed Joseph.

As he had followed along, she looked over Joseph's shoulder. Sonya was no techie but sorting through data screens wasn't an unusual sort of thing for someone that at least considered themself a lifetime spacer.

Joseph found the right path, wanted to give Corso's cell number but he was already moving along, what was it anyway? But not... freeing their ticket out. Though looking around the station seemed a good idea, she wanted the man that could get them a boat out in the hall, when he would very likely run as fast and far from them as he could, leaving them right well humped. 'which then would be the time to get paranoid.'

"You want me to do this? Someone should see if there's anyone else around here." Besides, now that the cameras would be up she could see if the path was clear for a slight duck down a hall to get her things from secure storage to dock B, Red Dawn. And if she could get 'Val' moving to something else, she could let Corso out.

These guys were really boneheads. One was chatting up some chickee in one of the cells, one was just... stoned or something; and this one was getting his priorities all mixed up.

The computer processed Joseph's command and the gate of Saren's cell opened with a clicking sound which faintly echoed down the corridor. Joseph also observed a new query pop up that read:

Open all Cells?
