The guy who he had landed on seemed angry, Remy could understand why, he wasn't anything to do with it, he just became involved when Remy was thrown into him, and now here he was, locked up. The man had a limp, and it was obvious, not only from his body language, but from the way he spoke, that he was in a bad mood. The man square up to him, and Remy had the mind to just allow the man to hit him, afterall, it would alleviate the limping mans anger, but he didn't, he just walked back to the wall, and seemed to be calming down. The man who had bottled the groggle gave Remy some advice, and Remy took it onboard straight away, although he worried for the lady with them, as she would probably be more at risk given their current situation. He just lay there. Handsome man in the next cell started to talk to them, asking if they were interested in getting out. Remy was still sitting on the floor with his knees in his chest. He wanted to get out of course, but it seemed like the Handsome man had some kind of illegal means of getting out, and Remy was sure that once he got some council from legal then he would be able to sort all this mess out. He just rested his arms on his knees, making a make shift head rest for his head to lean against. Remy listened to the conversations as they went on, there was plenty of talking, and moving around, and water was run from the taps. He didn't know if anyone was talking to him or not, he just laid his head on his arms, and breathed. Concentrating on his breathing, and just listening, to try and zen himself out and destress from the previous hours incident. It seemed that the lady that was with them, had struck a deal, and would be leaving with the Handsome Man, it was gonna be some kind of explaining for Remy to do, why someone in his cell had left, and he was still there. It would make it seem worse for him, and would more than likely get him into more trouble, he had mind to speak up about it, it seemed that the bottling gentleman spoke up for them, giving them a burst of reality, so he just kept his head in his lap, still concentrating on his breathing. He heard footsteps behind him, and Remy got up and walked away from the door which he was leaning against. His eyes adjusting to the light, and looking around the room at the assortment of strangers he was with. Then the security delivered the news, and Remy stood there, dumbfounded. So in an instant, it had turned from disorderly conduct to murder. He wanted the ground to sweep him up, all this because a groggle bumped INTO HIM and he had tried to play the peace maker. He didn't think that legal aid would help him here. Remy put his hands on his head, and started walking back and forth, he needed to calm down, his heart was beating profusely. It seemed that the bottle man was in. And Sonya, the lady, Sonya Gulliver. Remy didn't know what to do. The Guild would want to distance themselves from such a scandal. They would hang him out to dry, he carried on pacing back and forth. His mind rushing with thoughts. If he went with them, he would be on the run, forever more than likely. He wouldn't be able to start a traveling companion business like he wanted, he would be free, but not at the same time. But if he stayed, he would certainly face more jail time, for an accident. In that instant he made up his mind "I'm in, Remy Rokash" he stated briefly before taking a long breath out. Edited by ribsource, Oct 31 2012, 06:38 AM.

Jenna srugged her shoulders and followed the girl out the door and off the ship. No big deal I just thought you guys might need a little bit of help seeing as your ship was on fire and all. I keep forgetting that most people aren’t that trusting. Jenna stood at the end of the walkway and looked back towards the ship. I guess sneaking in would have been a better idea. She thought to herself. Edited by browncoat _pinky, Aug 10 2012, 02:48 AM.

Khei nodded. She felt bad but with her new boss out of commission for the moment there wasn't much that could be done. With a sigh she picked up her pack and slung it onto her shoulder again, speaking as she gathered up more parts from the pile of parts belonging on the bridge. Truth be told I'm new t' th' crew myself. Tell ya what. Once we have the Captain secured and know he's not gonna up an' die on us I'll see if Mike'd be more inclined to accept s'more help gettin' her all patced up an' shiny again. Can't guarantee nothin' tho. She managed a weak smile before heading back into the ship. She kept looking back to be sure the girl hadn't followed back in until she stopped by the Med bay to look in on Mike and Ian. While she was still too new to really have any true attatchments she still hated to see a person injured who did nothin' to deserve it. So how's he look? Gonna be shiny soon ya think? |

Corso. He ran the name through his mental file-o-fax but came up with nothing immediately. Best to let it simmer. His other cell mate spoke up, first Sonya, then Remy, his drinking buddy remained quiet though. That's right, play it close, he thought with a nod. "You may call me Val, if you so wish." Joseph replied to Corso, but looked across to his cellmates as he spoke. Talk about names out of a hat. He fought off a smile and struggled to his feet. Something about time in a cell, just made a man want to needlessly stretch and move about. Something which wouldn't be an issue for long. Joseph took a deep breath and focused himself. Every step they'd taken between the bar and here, every wall he'd smiled at and maintenance hatch he'd given a nod to. That of course was assuming his ship was anywhere near docking ring A. He hadn't seen much of the rest of the station. |

Cyrus remained seated, slouched up against the back wall of their cell, and kept his eyes closed. He listened, showing no sign of trying to hide the fact, and took in the exchange as everyone threw in their two cents worth. His drinking buddy to-be even weighed in, which surprised the old man. The Companion, too. It seemed like a lose or lose situation. And yet, he stayed silent. After the war the old man had spent a long time 'underground'. He'd never had charges pressed against him, but was definitely one of the many involved in that futile 'war criminals' hunt they charaded around in front of the media for so many years. It'd all died down now, allowing a man to enjoy a quiet drink in public, or so it seemed. Other then that, though, Cyrus had never been on the wrong side of the law. Now he was in for collaboration and murder. Finally, he opened his mouth. "You can call me Jones, if exchanging pleasantries makes us all feel more at home." He paused for a moment, eyes closed, still thinking it all over. "I ain't stepping foot from this cell until I hear about your plan, though." With that he opened his eyes and looked up, meeting eyes with everyone in the small group. He lingered for some time on 'Val', the man he was yet to share a drink with, and tried his hardest to sum the guy up. Then his attention turned to Scoro. |

"I've seen Ian fall on his pi gu more times than I can count. A knock to the head should be a pleasant change for him." Michael's delivery was dry and may have come of as uncaring, something which he quickly became aware of. "He's a tough cookie." He emitted a softer expression. Mike was sure Ian had seen and felt worse than a knock to the head, and while it had locked him for a loop on this occasion, he was sure to come out top. Becker had at least convinced his self of that. Michael grunted through his words as he began lifting Ian. "I expect," Mike pulled him up into a seating possession, "he'll wake up soon," his arms placed over Michael's shoulders as he assumed a good lifting position, "ignore as many doctors orders as he can," one big hoist and Mike was stood with Ian over his shoulder, "and come here to get straight back into some work. Shall we?" Michael headed for the ship's exit with Ian in tow. A question burned in his mind as Khei accompanied him, recent events being so recent and all."I was tough on the girl wasn't I?" She seemed innocent enough now that he could think back on the fact, but an innocent stranger had cost him a lot once upon a time. That fact was why he had exercised such caution. |

Khei chuckled at Mike's light jab at Ian's expense. She could appreciate some humor. It was in short supply for much of her life. She gave him a shrug in responce to his question as she set a few more items down before following along. Eh.. Maybe a might but it's understandable. Can't trust too many folk these days. Her mind seemed to trail off a bit at that last comment. As if remembering something best left forgotten. She shook her head, returning to the current subject. She seems to be a straight shooter but I've been wrong before. Might be of help at least cleanin' up or some ss uch. There's sure a lotta scorch marks an' muck all over the place now. "I know that look." Mike said, instantly recognising the expression on her face as she looked to the past. "That's a bad look." A hint of misfortune, possibly regret, it was impossible to miss. "I use that look." On cue, he emulated the expression as he looked back to what it was that made him know that look so well. He knew people well enough to know he shouldn't push Khei on the subject though, many like to keep to themselves. He'd be damned if he wasn't curious to know what had happened to her though. "Dugan's coat there." Michael indicated the jacket with a nod of his head, his hands were still occupied with securing Dugan over his shoulder. "Check the pockets. I don't know how to lock up Glory without power, but I imagine there should be a keycard that locks the docking tunnel up tight." Becker continued on with Ian, turning after passing through the airlock to see how Khei was progressing. Once Glory was safe and without the need for their supervision, they could get to the station's medical ward. With a little haste too, Dugan had waited long enough. "I wonder what people are gonna make of this sight." One man carrying another unconscious over his shoulder, there were many conclusions to be jumped to. |

Corso had nodded at each of them in agreement. He turned his attention to Sonya. "Glory.. That ship belonged to my father Gall. When he passed my brother Lane had acquired it. How is Lane... Haven't seen him in a spell." He laughed to himself. "Small world." He then looked between each of them, his demeanor becoming serious, yet confident. He gripped his hands on the bars and spoke softly. "Right. Here is the plan." He gestured his hand towards the end of the Cell Block corridor. I noticed a there was a maintenance hatch, hard to spot. We get up there, we climb up and then across the ducts into Docking Bay B" "Now. To get out of the cells. The slob on duty. Marcus. He does a tour through here every hour. Next time he walks in here, should be.." he paused for a moment in thought. "Ten minutes or so. You." He pointed at Sonya. "You Sonya need to fake an illness. He seems to have a thing for the lady folk. Now he is not smart so he should go in the cell by himself. That's when you all take him out, grab his key card and open the the remaining cells by sliding it into the security console by the exit. We then grab our belongings in the lock box next to the console and head towards the maintenance hatch to avoid the cameras." He nodded to himself, confident in the plan. "Should be easy for you four. You seem capable enough." |

Khei managed a weak smile. It's nothin' Just... History. She nodded when he indicated Ian's coat and grabbed it to bring along. She started rummaging through each pocket in search of a keycard as they walked. Well they'd likely think we'd be headed toward a medical ward. Wouldn't they? |

So there was Sonya Gulliver, Corso the Handsome Man, Val the bottler, and Jones the Limper. The certainly were a rag tag bunch. Val and Jones didn't seem to be buying anything until they heard a plan. Remy nodded in agreement with this, afterall it was his 'freedom' that he was risking. His life was in the balance here. He couldn't do jail time, not because he couldn't handle himself, he was sure that he could, with all his training and such, but for an accident? No. Corso started on his plans, it seemed simple enough, but Remy didn't like simple, nothing was ever as simple as it sounded. The had a quick conversation about the Glory. Remy knew that name, from Jacob, his former captain of the Mei Li, but now wasn't the time. He put his hands on his head and started pacing again, it was obvious to anyone he was stressed, usually as part of his job he would be able to mask such things, but this wasn't the time for masking, it was a time for panicking. And that was what he was doing. It seemed they had 10 minutes to decide. |

Cyrus observed the whole thing, listening to everyone weigh in and the so called 'Captain Corso' fill them in on his plan. The old man didn't think much of it - It's a plan, but it's not a good one. At the same time, though, he knew his options were limited. Guilty or innocent, if you were even a witness to a murder and your file showed 'Field Medic, 33rd Brigade, Independents Army' you weren't getting no lawyer. Hesitantly, almost as if midway up he wasn't so sure and wanted to change his mind, Cyrus slowly pushed himself back up off the cold floor and held himself steady, hand resting against the wall. It seemed like he was the only one sitting this out. For an old war veteran, what was that saying about him? "Fine. I'll go with yer lot. The plans not ideal... but it'll do." The old man found himself mostly speaking to those in his cell, not as concerned with Corso. Once we get out of this cell, then I'll size him up... He turned to Sonya. "Think you can put on a show?" |

"Sure, but, fake an illness?" Sonya was skeptical. Could a guard be that naive? "Maybe if I look like I'd been.. roughed up?... nah, he'd just call for help... Ok.." She looked over at the sink, walked to pick up her rudely discarded scarf. Sonya turned to "Val, a little blood for the melodrama." She looked back across at Corso. He hadn't answered about her ride to her choice of destinations, but there was time for that later. Maybe after they were all beaten and put in chains and solitary. Sonya waited at the sink, preferably with blood from Joseph's injured hand on the scarf which she'd put on her face, a good bit of hacking then doubled over the toilet.. "eugh." she said, giving it another look. "If he makes you get back, I'll grab his legs. So... be ready." Gulliver tossed her hat on the cot, mussed up her hair, put the jacket on the floor where she'd be able to kneel on it at the appropriate moment, hunched over the metal commode. "I'm getting sick just thinking about ducking my head near that." Sonya fluttered her eyes, looking as miserable as she was trying to feel, which wasn't hard. She gave a look to the three men that shared the cell. "Help me?" she said meekly, let a slight smirk escape then took a whif of the toilet. Muttered something that had never seemed more appropriate and almost retched for real. Jenna nodded her head. “Don’t worry I’m not going to hold my breath. People like your friend seem pretty set in their ways and find it hard to trust anyone. Jenna watched as Khei walked back into the ship turning around to make sure that she didn’t follow her back inside. She then climbed back onto the crates she had been sitting on for the last little while and thought about what she was going to do next |

From where Jenna was sitting, she observed several other air locks that were in use with ships currently docked and on the other side of the bay she saw a door that read "Docking Bay B." Presumably it led to another Docking Bay where other oppourtunities could arise. |

Jenna sort of wanted to wait and see if she could make it onto the Glory without sneaking aboard but she figured that it was going to take forever for the ship to get cleaned up and ready to fly. After she was sure that there wasn’t anyone watching she climbed down off the crates and headed towards the door marked Docking Bay B. Might as well check things out over there might be a ship she could sneak onto or maybe she would just wind up back on top of those boxes again after finding nothing all that interesting over there. No point in sitting there doing nothing. She thought as she wandered through the door. Edited by browncoat _pinky, Aug 10 2012, 04:39 PM.

Dock A-17, Glory
"That's what you'd think." Of course, that was because Khei actually knew what was going on and where they were going. "But think about people who don't know what happened and see this image." A nod to the door indicated she should lock it as she reached it, Mike's hands still being full and all. "Personally, my mind goes to too much drinking or a kidnapping." Once the entryway was locked up tight, Mike and Khei headed for the stations nearest medical ward. There was no sign of the earlier intruder, and Mike did look out for her. A few glimpses were flown back to Glory's airlock, but no one should be getting through. Medical Ward They arrived at the medbay promptly, and Michael found the first official looking person who would talk to him. "I got a friend here who was knocked out during a fire, I'm figuring he inhaled some smoke." Mike just laid out the situation, he didn't quite know what to ask for, that was the doctor's duty. "The mark on his head don't look too pleasing either." |

The infirmary aboard the Baroness was small, but clean and professional looking. There was a waiting area with several chairs, a desk with a nurse and several exam rooms and a surgery room off to the side. Several of the staff placed Ian on a strecher and moved him into one of the exam rooms, One of the male Doctors approached Michael. "What's his name and does he have an ident card for insurance?" On the other side of the waiting, two female Nurse's could be overheard gossiping with each other. "That drunk is ready to be released. Had to get a few stitches from the bottle getting broken over his head. I still think it's a nasty trick that Security was playing on those folk, saying he was dead and all. But maybe that will teach them a lesson not to start bar fights." MEANWHILE.... IN THE DOCKING BAY The doors slid open for Jenna as she began walking through a very long corridor. There was heavy duty glass that lined one side of the corridor which allowed her to look out into the vastness of space if she wanted to. |

The Infirmiry Dugan looked a lot more comfortable on that stretcher than he must have slung over Becker's shoulder. Mike considered his captain to be good hands now, set for a check up, fix up then maybe a wake up, though if the choice came Becker would let him get the rest he deserved.
"Ian Dugan, Lieutenant Commander I'll have you know," he said pointing at the doctor. Not that he was trying to make any point, it was just the first comment on Dugan that came into his head. "And yes, he's got an ident," a pause, "sort of." Mike should have known better, but he'd left the card back on Glory with most everything else. He turned to Khei. "Shall I go or sh-" he cut himself off, "I'll go." It was, after all, his mistake. He held out a hand waiting for Khei to hand over the keycard which would allow him access to the ship, then he would head of to retrieve the item. "You keep an eye on Ian, make sure they don't go cutting off limbs." His sight went to the doctor. "Not that you would." |
