Corso hastily responded to Sonya. "Look. I've got about 50 crates in my cargo bay that I need to deliver to Persephone in Eavesdown, and I am already a day late. I am guaranteed 1 Million Credits upon delivery. Whoever is with me and helps me successfully deliver these goods to a less then savory individual named Aerias Ridden. I will give everyone a fair cut." He continued to proceed to the Airlock where the control panel was. |

"Got it the first time." Sonya answered, keeping step to step with him. "Money I don't need, ships and people to fly them. Other purposes. So... make use of you and yours when we finish?" She took two very fast steps to beat him to the control panel, stood next to it and put on her very determined, 'I cannot lose' face. "Things need to get done, you gonna be willing to help me do one or two of em?" |

Jenna watched as several people emerged from the floor. She quickly ducked behind some crates and tried not to be seen. As she watched it seemed that these people were in some kind of hurry to get to a ship. Maybe she could follow them and get out of this place. She wasn’t sure if she had been seen or not but at this point all she could do was watch, listen and see if she could figure out where they were going. |

Ian nodded his accent and grunted a reply. "It will take us a bit of a while to get her space worthy, but once we do." He cocked his head once to the right and back, a hard gleem in his eyes. Nodding to Khei and taking his coat when he saw her, he slipped it over his shoulders and proceeded onward. "Let's get to it. Glory's not gonna fix herself." He straightened the collar of the old black leather Duster as he walked. |

Cyrus, struggling along with his two bags trailing behind him, slowly and strategically lifted his body out of the vent and found solid footing. He quickly placed the medical bag beside him, throwing his rucksack aside. It skidded across the floor, coming to a halt beside the crates Jenna, unknown to the group, had just ducked behind. The old man then turned back round, down on one knee, and offered a hand to hoist up everyone else behind him, finishing with Joseph. He then stood up straight, stretching a out a little, and turned his attention to Corso, who was headed across the airlock. The man sure seemed to know what he was doing - Cyrus took careful note of this, trying to remember whether or not the revolver at the bottom of his medical bag was loaded. "Alright, let's keep on keeping on, eh?" He turned from the group, giving Saren a reassuring nod, and started moving towards where his rucksack had landed, his limp starting to fade now as his leg muscles were loosening up from their flight. |

Corso then pressed a button on the console and the airlock door opened with a hissing sound. There was a sealed walk way now visible which lead to the ship's airlock door. He acknowleded Sonya. "Hey, whatever sweetheart. You help me get to where I need to be and I will give you a ride anywhere." He said this with a very cocky tone. "I won her in a card game." He said proudly of his ship. Corso then walked the short passage to Red Dawn's airlock and started punching some numbers into a keypad which was connected to a panel next to the door. A green light lit up on the keypad as the airlock door to the Red Dawn's cargo bay hissed open. Corso then returned to the docking bay of the Baroness. "We are leaving in 2 minutes. Let's move!" He yelled with a bit of excitement in his voice while signaling with his hands for the others to hurry up. |

Finally, a way off this rock.. Saren thought to herself.
Saren gave Cyrus a small smile. She was happy to have him nearby. She'd been alone for too long. Saren made a start for the docking bay, and stopped just before she got near it, turning around to see where Cyrus had gone. She saw him near a bunch of crates, picking up his rucksack. Saren noticed a small figure, moving ever so slowly behind the crates. What in the world..? she thought to herself. "Cyrus!" she called out, "there's someone behind the crates!". Khei was standing just outside and to the right of the door, holding out Ian's coat for him to take as he waled out. Good to see ya awake an' walking on yer own again Boss. She smiled and followed Ian and Mike as they made the trip back to the ship. We'll get'r fixed up right shiny, Boss... Only thing that puzzles me is how those feds wrre rippin' up the bridge like that with the power on without electrocutin' themselves. |

Jenna looked at the rucksack and froze. She reached under her sweater and pulled out one of her knives. She then poked at the bag with her foot causing it to move away from her slightly. She sat down and pulled her sweater over her knees. "Um if you all don't mind I'll just stay here and you guys just go on about your day. I'm really sorry for any trouble I may have caused." She yelled. Please go away, Please go away, Please go away. She thought to herself. |

Khei pulled out her computer in response to the beeping. Her expression was one of concern while her heart seemed to have a sudden death grip on her throat. This could be really good or really bad... She typed a simple response, "who is this?" While waiting for a reply she ran a simple trace program to see where the message was coming from, or rather where it was being mirrored from. She paided particular attention to any possible telltales of feds trying to trip her up. |

Joseph accepted the hand up help from Cyrus with a smile, a thankful grunt upon finally reaching his feet, and a hand on its way to his sidearm. The cargo bay was big enough, scattered crates lying here and there, perfect place to get lost or better yet, lose someone else. He turned his attention to Corso, who was busy working away at the airlock console. The Captain traded nods, stares and grins with Gullible woman, he shook his head and decided to care less, following in their footsteps toward the airlock. Behind him, Cyrus and the his new friend chatted away, an air of familiarity in their voices. Old friends perhaps? Ran into each other during a prison escape. Strangers things had happened, but the whole thing was starting to seem a bit too....easy for them. Not a shot fired, not a life lost. Good in its own way, or maybe the other boot was just getting heavier as time went on, waiting for its moment to finally fall on them. Then as if to wake him from his battle of internal worries, Saren announced they had company. How'd he missed that? Getting old, getting soft, long days getting the better of you. He sighed, hand already gripping his pistol, and turned to the direction of the commotion. No armed guards, a pleasant surprise. Instead, a young, dark haired girl, looking less than pleased to see them, who had quickly disappeared back behind the crates. Women, not even, girls. He'd nearly have preferred the arms guards. He shook his head slowly, releasing his grip on his pistol and turning back toward the ship. Witnesses or not, he wasn't firing a round, not today anyway. They had two minutes to be onboard their getaway ship, and Joseph planned to be there. "Come on." He said to himself, marching intently into the open airlock and off the Baroness. |

The positive reply from Corso made Sonya's day. 'of course he is an escapted convict.' 'so are we.' 'we have not been convicted of anything.' 'you mean - not in this decade.'After the doors hissed open Sonya stepped inside and moved to the side. She put the bulky duffle down and squatted next to it. Off with the prissy had, tossed the jacket and dirty scarf aside. She snapped and unzipped the duffle, took out the light flight jacket. It was the only piece of regular clothing in her exercise bag. The rest was exercise clothing, equipment. And the guns, targe weapons small calibre pistol and rifle. Her big mean pistol had been in her carry purse, which she'd not retrieved. She slipped the jacket on, closed up the bag. She stayed just inside the door, nodding to the others as they came onto the ship. Gulliver breathed a sigh, an inner breath she'd been holding in part. Once the doors shut and they got released, this was pretty much home free. Sonya smiled at that, 'not likely'. But it was beginning again, the chaos of running free and wild. And maybe another chance to do a little more showing off for the day, not that she'd done any so far, had she? "So uh, who's the pilot of this shiny darlin'?" |

Khei received a quick response from her tracking software, advising her that the person who contacted her was in the Baroness. She then received another message. Naughty... Naughty... Do you want to play a game? MEANWHILE IN DOCKING BAY B From what people could initially see in the Red Dawn Cargo Bay, there were about 50 crates scattered about making it incredibly packed. They had Blue Sun logo's on them and were sealed shut. A stairwell led up from the Cargo Bay to another level. "I will be flying." He nodded at Sonya. "No one flies her but me." |

Khei frowned. She wasn't keen on the idea of being played with. She replied again. "I really don't have time for games. What is it you want?" Feds aren't usually this foolish about their work.. Bounty hunters on the other hand.. They can be rather.. Odd.. |

Jenna sat still for several seconds hopping that she would be left alone with enough time left to sneak aboard the ship. She listened and came to the conclusion that these folks were in enough of a hurry that one girl wasn't going to make much of a difference. Two minutes wasn’t enough time to sneak aboard but she was going to give it a shot. The good thing was that if she didn't make it she did have the option of going back to the other ship but who knew when it was going to be ready to leave. |

The call gave the old man a small jump - moreso as it was the loudest noise he'd heard since they left the cell block - but he was still adequately warned and took a step back. Unsure just how the rest of them had missed such a thing, the old man readied himself and took one hesitant step forward. If someone was hidden hear, behind some crates, it was more or less likely that they weren't looking for trouble. Suits me just fine. He stopped again as the ever so slight gleam of a blade protrude from behind the boxes and poked at his rucksack, pushing it an inch or so further away form the crates, towards Cyrus. A last ditch effort for peace? His face screwed up a little in confusion and the old man, instinctively holding one hand out as if to hush any attacks yet to come, stepped forward again until he was beside his bag. The girl was there, alright. Small, fragile, scared looking. He hadn't been on board for long, but sure didn't remember seeing her anywhere up in the bar. Hell, could be too young for it, he thought, trying to gauge the unknown girls age. "You uh.... ok down there, missy?" She hadn't ratted them out yet, as far as he knew, and takeoff was only a minute or two away. No use trying the stick here - carrot all the way. Cyrus grunted a response, taking his eye off the young girl before him as he glanced up to see where everyone else stood - literally. Saren was looking on, the flying companion beside her, still assembling himself, but the rest of the new group had made their way to the airlock and were boarding the getaway ship. I can't miss that, not with Saren involved now... "What's yer name, little one? You headed someplace?" The sense of urgency in his quiet words was unmistakeable, and even before he had a reply the old man was humbly crouching down the pick up his rucksack, ready to make his leave. |

Remy started walking, he heard what was going on around him, people making demands, people sussing the sitch, but he wasn't having any of it, he just wanted to get on board, and calm himself down. He had just been part of an escape, AND a murder. As much as the adrenaline was rushing before, with the finish line in sight, he was coming down. The bag on his back started to get heavier, his muscles were starting to hurt. He needed to get to the ship, and, for want of a better term, relax. He needed to reevaluate what he was going to do. Remy had always had a plan, sure it was a vague idea of what he was going to do, but now, with this murder charge, and this escape, it would have to change. He wiped the sweat from his brow with his arm. He walked, followed Sonya into the ship, dropped his stuff, leant against a wall, and then bent his knees, his back still to the wall. He rested his hands on his head, and started to breath. It was over, but at the same time, it was only just beginning. |

Joseph entered the ship, taking a few steps into the cargo laden bay, letting out a low whistle. Plenty of inventory anyway, wonder what it all is. Medicine for the blind no doubt, judging by the kind of saint ole Corso seems to be. He shook the idea out of his head, and turned to the Captain. He knew frak all about ships. They had engines, space travel wasn't exactly rocket science (anymore), and he's seen plenty of flying craft in his illustrious career. But ships in the Black? Little to no clue. "It's certainly, spacious?" He seemed to ask with a mild shrug and a plastered smile, ending on a confused nod. "There a plan past this very moment, or should we begin to worry ourselves Captain?" Despite the context off the conversation, Joseph seemed cool, calm, collected, all the best c words. His interest was of couse a matter of self preservation, but there was something else. Something in his voice, his eyes. Perhaps a spark of genuine concern? No, what had he left to lose, or even prospects to gain. Maybe he was just bored, and idle hands are the devils playthings after all! |

Saren started to worry.
The ship was setting sail in the next 2 minutes, and Cyrus was chatting to some riffraff behind the crates. "Cyrus, come on! We're setting sail!" She cried out. There's no way I'm letting them leave without him! she though to herself, as she made a start towards Cyrus. As she reached Cyrus, Saren moved to pick up his rucksack, and was able to get a closer look of the girl hiding there. "We need to go now Cyrus! Bring her with us if ya want, we just gotta move before they leave without us!" Saren said with all haste towards Cyrus. "Hey you there, behind the crates. You can either come with us or wait for the Feds to catch you. Just make your mind up quick! I wanna get off this gorram station!" She asked Jenna, before making a start back to the ship, trying to pull Cyrus in its direction. Edited by HeaterDee, Aug 17 2012, 01:04 PM.
