Characters Name: Tyson 'Turncoat' Hazard Personality: Crusty on the edges, but soft in the middle. Stubborn, very world wary. Has a difficult time trusting anyone beyond a handshake. The opposite of tight lipped, Ty will often begin and end a conversation using his wits and experienced tongue to learn more about you then he lets on. Appearance: Hair Style/Color: Dark Skin Color: Light Brown Eye color: Deep Black/Brown Age: 41 Gender: Male Height: 6'1" Weight: 199 lbs Usually seen wearing black boots, tan pants, and a musty grey jacket worn over the visible armor. He wears a glove on his (left) gun hand, and has the Callahan Revolver reverse mounted and hung high on his thigh. Walks with a slight favor to his right, from a wound received in prison. Equipment: Callahan Revolver, bought with last paycheck from his dispensation. Old ballistic armor from the war. History: Read the Hazard-Bara Chronicles for more details. Born on Beamounde Tyson (called Ty by friends) has a knack for finding trouble. As a young boy his father sent him to a seminary off-world in hopes of quelling his rebellious streak. His brother Azekiel remained, and joined the military causing a rift between the two. After several years of seminary, Ty ran away. Without much money and fewer friends Ty got involved with seedier elements, and disreputable activities. His activities before the war have always been a tight lipped subject even around close friends. Tyson was eventually caught up in the war against the Alliance when it broke out. Smart, resourceful, and young, he quickly caught the eye of his superiors and became a commissioned officer early in the war. He fought bravely through 3 campaigns each leading to a promotion and subsequent praise from his men. He was awarded the rank of Lt. Colonel for his quick thinking and courage after the death of his commanding officer. He tended to lead from the front and was and was the epitome of those who fought back against the Alliance...young, smart, and full of fire and brimstone. He cut a dashing figure, and was quickly making a name for himself...some even predicted that in a short time he would make full Colonel or higher perhaps even a generalship wasn't out of the question. This idea was short lived. Ty the Traitor Before he could go further, he was captured during the battle of Dukhang, and was suspected of being a turncoat as his entire brigade was subsequently captured soon after his capture. Secret command codes coded to Tyson's DNA were discovered in an alliance database soon after the battle. After sitting in an Alliance prison for the duration of the war, He returned to Beaumonde and found what was left of his family missing or dead. The accusation of his treason kept him finding much help after the war and eventually the nickname 'Turncoat' became a common phrase heard in his presence. Still Ty doesn't help matters much by ignoring them or by keeping his head held high. After many years of suspicion, Tyson's name was cleared when his brother Azekiel who had joined the Alliance early in the war admitted to altering his own DNA as a way to gain access to Independent command codes. He also claimed that Tyson was responsible for stopping the release of a deadly poison meant to kill an entire planet. To keep his brother safe from Browncoat reprisals, Ty allowed himself to be suspected of treason. Azekiel was found dead soon after these public admonitions, leaving many to speculate he was killed by an agent to silence any investigations. Lilabeth Tyson reemerged after many years of spacing with an apparent eleven year-old daughter, Lilabeth, but little is known about her mother, and Tyson has been tight lipped on the subject. She's a curious child who often speaks her willful mind. She also has a habit of stealing, and tinkering, and is a lot more intelligent then most children her age. Tyson has said she's gifted, but has yet to elaborate on what that means. Theda Bera: Ty was at the mercy of Alliance interrogators for nearly a month, after which he languished in an Alliance prison, where he had to fight on a daily basis because of his reputation. He met up with Theda after leaving prison, at the time she was looking for her brother...a soldier that had served directly under his command, Reggie. The man had died in prison under mysterious circumstances. With nothing left, Ty convinced Theda to accompany him back to his home world of Beaumonde. He was convinced that his family would welcome her, find a new start for her doing some sort of work. The pair were inseparable, pulling jobs of all sorts in a bid to survive. The two were close friends for many years, until they both lost each other years ago. Primary Skill: Leadership, Combat Veteran and Close Combat. Secondary Skill: Piloting, Trading and Space-faring. (Space salvage recovery specialist) Edited by Tyson Hazard, May 10 2018, 06:34 AM.
