I think we deserve an explanation aswell. The fic was posted here for everyone to view, its not like it was only them who viewed it, so its just proper that we know if it was copied or not, credit should be given to whom its due. |

i guess the moderator team wanted not to make things bigger in a way that the author of the fic was really diissapointed but sad in a way na may nang aangkin ng pinaghirapan nya... kasi if ever na they posted here what is the outcome of that... baka may mag spill out then dumatin sa court and everything... pero still we need some explanation.. @radiohead it is already stated on that specific forum that it was copied.. the author did comment already and the author statement is like it was really copied... |

Woow. Naungkat pa to? Hehe, the one whio allegedly copied the fan fic is somewhat respectable here sa Loki Boards. I am not new to LB but i seldom post, *just lurks XD* and as Radiohead had commented earlier, the said member simply stopped being active when the time it was brought to public. Anyways, like anybody here that is waiting for the outcome of the arguement, i'm just curious as to what happened after the settlement.

I see, so the reason this thread is up in rants and raves is that everyone wants an explanation about all of this. I'll try to contact the persons involved here (Gryffindor and RedKinoko) and it would be much appreciated if anyone can give me a headstart on where to look for them(e.g. if RedKinoko is still in Peyups or someone give me his YM address). After that, I will edit that post and cite proper acknowledgement. But I'm contemplating in reposting all that whole thing if ever I acquire permission from RedKinoko himself so as not to cause too much commotion in the future. As for the plagiarising issue, we would try our best to update you guys and be as neutral and objective about it as we can on handling this sensitive issue. But as far as Loki Boards staff is concerned, it was:

sorry alain, i just want to say something. i constantly chat to redkinoko in ym. we talked about this in the past, i don't think he wants to pursue this anymore. he said, his work being plagiarized is not new to him anymore. he was also the one who requested that we keep quiet about this, as he does not want to go public anymore. if you want to talk to him, i can give you his ym address. although i'd have to ask him 1st if it's ok to give it out. as for randy, aka gryffindor let us not be hasty in judging him. i've had to chance to talk to him in the past and he does not strike me as a person of low intellect. yes, he may have done something wrong but it doesn't give us the right to expose it, nor talk about it just because he's not here to defend himself. by the way, before this all happened randy was already inactive because he left the country. |
