Well then everyone...ready for the Road Millage, the DIA millage, the 16% water increase (25% if you include last year), and the pension tax? And perhaps Ficano can kick up some tax to pay employees that work for him and his machine. I'm sure Ms. Gephart can come up with something if he can't Last time they said we did not use enough water... so the rates went up??? What was that water ban all 'bout then??? Mercado, former dw and sewer scalper in charge, worked with Kwamee to gouge us and it is still going on. It is nice that they had productive talks with the water dept. and that they "liked what they heard" but then voted (with two missing from the meeting) to stick it to us again....Kirskey got his in early but this is turning into a turn your pockets out and leave your valuables on the City table...tell no one, not even your neighbors. And let's not forget Mr. J Walsh, state rep for voting the fireworks law in....its going over real big in my neighborhood ALL THE TIME. They did a great job on that up in Lansing, so lets not forget to thank Mr. Walsh and his buddies (read Republicans) at election time for all the jobs they created (LOL) and the taxes they take from me, money that has been taxed already, and give to business so my kid can get a job at burger whoopie for $7.35 per hour. |
