Is The Time Right for LPS Reformer?; As names are offered for Oke's replacement, is it time for LPS Reformer to throw his hat in the ring?

Having worked with him and discussed many a topic of LPS, I for one would feel very comfortable campaigning and voting for LPS Reformer. He works tirelessly to get to the truth, and that is what is sorely missing with this board, at least partially. His presence could be the deciding factor in many important issues facing our school system in the coming years. Not the least is the constantly considered bond issue and the all important decision to keep Liepa or let him go.

There is enough support on this site to get a true grass roots effort to seat him, if he is up to the challenge.

I believe Reformer's abilities would best be served by bringing up wrongs to the board from the podium, not being part of that board - that would only dilute our concerns.

He gets my vote, hands down! His work is tireless and very much needed and appreciated!

Yeah, I am of the opinion that he could bring up issues while on the board. As it is now, the board can simply ignore him and move on to do what they want. With him there, he would have a greater voice as well as an all important vote on matters.

That he has integrity is without question. And that is sadly a trait missing in some of the current board members.

Has anyone asked Roger Spence to run again? He'd surely win this time around.

The schools exist to educate, not employ.
Roger would make a wonderful candidate, and an outstanding board member.

People who have and maintain integrity whilst in political office are not easy to find.
I believe that Reformer would be able to make a difference and also would maintain that integrity. :)

Well, it would be a shame if some political hack breezed in, without any opposition. I would be perfectly comfortable campaigning for Reformer or anyone he endorses. This election is a chance to move LPS forward, instead of regressing to the sub-par level we have seen in the past.
