With the Michigan Primary not too far away, what are your thought of the GOP candidates?

Yes, the last Presidential election sure proved that one right ...the lesser of all the evils! That got figured out real well.

Yep, he's definately evil...and stupid...and irresponsible...and on, and on...and on. I'd rather Frosty the Snowman be President than suffer another term with Obama and his seriously over-rated wife. (She, btw, does not even come close the 'fashion diva' she touted to be. Her childhood obesity campaign smacks hypocritical too!) Yuk, I can't wait for them to be gone--and not just on another vacation either. (Woo, I feel much better now. Thanks, LN!) |

LOL.. 0bama OR America...you can't have both. But just about any of them would serve us better ( R. Paul??? ... maybe not ) I have not seen/found that R. Paul has written too many bills (maybe less than 5?) in his very LONG (30 plus years?) political career that we can pinpoint as voted on on the floor and then became law. as something that was good for the American people so .... there's an empty spot, kind of like 0bama voting 'present' for his short little ''career'' before crowned Kingy Wingy. {{{{SOUND THE TRUMPETS}}}}} LOL

Please...I miss George Bush!!! At least I knew I was living in America when he was President. I'll try that praying thing though--us conservative, bible-beater types really believe in that stuff! |

"At least I knew I was living in America when he was President." This comment makes absolutely no sense. |

Here, I'll explain it to you... Some Presidents' support policies that are seemingly Unamerican, usually involving(in my view) less choice for the individual, and more control for the government. Specifically, I don't like his health care or his energy bills. When the government dictates what I must buy, like health care and certains kinds of appliances and light bulbs, that feels like some other country to me. There are lots of other things I don't like about him either, but the above examples are specific to the comment I made. Does it make sense now? |

Thanks for your post uh-oh. What about the GOP field claiming that God somehow "told" them to run? Doesn't that seem presumptuous? |

I think that was one particular candidate who has since dropped out of the race. My guess though is that he was probably just pandering to that Evangelical Christian population. Makes him sound a bit loony, I think. Why not just say "I prayed about it, and felt I should run". Seems much more reasonable. I did hear a funny on Mark Levine tonight on my way home from CVS: (paraphrasing...) Liberal Caller: I want to know all about Newt's infidelity, open marriage proposals, his personal life should be open to the public. Levine: Okay Sir, do you also want to know about Obama's drug use and who his dealer was in college, who his girlfriends were? Liberal Caller: No hahahahahahahahaha--the double standard kills me! We still don't know anything about Obama's medical records, educational transcripts, previous relationships, etc. Still, the liberal media is hands off Obama... |

What does this caller have to do with anything? Newt is obviously a "progressive" when it comes to "open marriage," yet a dismissive when it comes to straight marriages, such as the Obama's enjoy. |

OMGosh, seriously... I was just pointing out the enormous double standard that often exists among liberal Obama supporters and certainly the liberal media. In other words, Newts personal life needs to be splayed out for all to see and judge, but we don't (and didn't ) need that very same information about Obama before his election or even now. Honestly, I didn't care about who Clinton slept with and I couldn't care less about who Newt slept with. It has nothing to do with great governing and creating a better economy. Clearly the faithful Obama and his abismal economic plan has shown us that!!

From 2001 to 2003, my healthcare costs doubled, giving me less choice where to spend my hard earned money. That's unAmerican to me. And those costs continued to rise, along with a decrease in benefits, each year after. Amazingly, in the last 2 years my contributions have barely changed....hmmmm. What was George Bush's best plan to control the rising health insurance costs? Do you remember? TORT REFORM! Remember? "Doctors are shutting down their practices because malpractice insurance is too high" What a crock!! Try getting into medical school in this country...they're PACKED! Doctorin' business is doing quite well for itself, thanks anyway George. Damn those cost and energy saving lightbulbs! And I want my old refrigerator back too...the one I used to have to chip the ice off the sides of the freezer ! Oh, and from now on..I'm not wearing my seat belt either. I don't need the Govt telling me what to do in my car! Well, at least you didn't revert back to criticizing the First Lady's wardrobe...that's always a good reason. |

I say it's all fair game. There, I said it. But seriously, how many wives has he had? And did he leave one when she had cancer? (I may have that wrong, I honerstly don't follow their personal lives that closely). |
