Overall I thought the article was balanced, with info from both sides of issue.

7 years instead of 4 years for Tenure sounds reasonable to me.

10 years is even better... no tenure or tenure with restrictions at all is best. Don't forget the teacher who threatened to kill the principal and got off with a hefty sum of money to retire on.
