"He's (LIEpa) always approachable by anyone who wants to talk to him" Lynda..don't you want to retract the above or at least qualify it to include this statement. ...all except those who are escorted out of an open public board meeting by the police because he happens to be Loyd Romick... So you see you just can't believe everything you read in the paper. Where does she get off saying this!?!?! |

I truly believe that she thinks what she is saying is true. The BOE are all Randy fans. The article shows me a couple of things... - The Board really is out of touch with what is going on in the classroom. - There are a lot of people out there supporting the status quo, thinking that Randy and the BOE is doing a good job because they have nothing else to compare it with (a friend once was told that "people who grew up in Livonia do not understand that I grew up in a district that was not good, so my kids are getting a good education." I would rather compare LPS to a good district like Grosse Pointe or LPS of the past.) OR People feel trapping in LPS b/c they can't move or afford private, so they accept what they are given. (IMO, if private school tuition could be deducted from our taxes or were cheap, they would be even fuller than they are now) |
