Per Mrs. Councilwoman wannbe: The additional $3 million in our fund balance was NOT money found by the auditing firm, it is the result of the dedication and sacrifices of ALL of our hard working staff and administration who managed to spend less then the amount budgeted at the beginning of the school year. I got some ocean front property in Arizona. From my front porch you can see the sea. I got some ocean front property in Arizona. If you'll buy that, I'll throw the golden gate in FREE!!!!!

I noted this response from Ms. Scheel's website also. If this is so, why didn't LPS scream it from the rooftops--as they typically would to influence public opinion? It's great news, if it's true how it came about.
