This is still an ongoing issue, Mrs. McDonnell mentioned some valid questions that still need to be answered at the last board of education meeting. Her comments are at 34 minutes in....

Livonia's super enjoys big raise and aims to spend diminishing sinking fund on soccer fun.
Perhaps the local news stations would enjoy this as a twist to their current news.

Ah, the dome. Kind of makes you think back Randy's 2009 lies. ;)

This was interesting:

And Mr. Wojack made some good points as well:

Tony the soccer dome owner is no longer part of the deal and of course it's all been really interesting. I still can't understand why Randy kept insisting that it was legal to use sinking fund money to put the dome. I guess I'll never understand that one at all.

....and what I can't understand is why this is still a discussion when the board originally said NO? So there are soccer fields at Bicentennial Park and Greenmead? Yet we need more? Sounds like Randy is about to use the $2M Lisa found for this useless venture. And I'll bet lights for night games will come up in a year or so.

He "needs direction?" He had direction the first time. It was NO. And he ignored it.

Can't we get rid of this man?

Here’s another push from our beloved Superintendent on the Cooper School Site. I don't believe that this has anything to do with the Upper EL Cooper, especially since they just went out to rebid on the modified soccer complex. I don't get it, why would he want to continue spending money on this soccer field when he should spending money on make sure our buildings have energy efficiencies like new windows. It really doesn't make sense at all. What is his agenda?

This line item listed below if from the LPS Long Term Facility Planning meetings from two years ago. The community obviously thought that this was a very important item, new windows, since it was the top of the list. I wonder where Liepa came up with 32,000,000.00 for new windows for all the schools.

I can all but guarantee that three years from now, our district will be forced to spend countless amounts of money to fix problems with this soccer complex. You can't put much water on it. Yes, you cant really water the soccer fields. Need I say more??

Randy Liepa seems to have his own agenda on this project. I still can't believe that people will really bring children to play soccer on an area that is surrounded still by toxic waste. Why spend out tax dollars on this field $950,000.00? I would like to also know which "Management Company" Randy Liepa has lined up to take care of this soccer complex?????? Hmmm...........I'm taking bets on that one........... We all would be better off by using the DEQ monies, do what we can to clean it up and giving the property away to anyone who would want to take off our hands.........That' would be the most fiscally response thing to do for our school district. What a waste.

Also, can anyone help with the video issues that I'm having. I can't get a strong full stream on the video in order to watch it with out the sound breaking up. Thanks.
