Bring old pesticides, electronics to Livonia Hazardous Waste Day Saturday


The City of Livonia invites residents to its Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Day at 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Ford Field.

Materials collected include household cleaners, gasoline, oil-based paint, pesticides, fungicides and electronic waste. Participants must be residents of Livonia, Northville and Northville Township only.

Ford Field is at Lyndon and Farmington Roads, next to Eddie Edgar Arena. Drivers should enter using northbound Stark Road from Schoolcraft.

Hazardous Waste day

The city of Livonia will conduct a Household Hazardous Waste/Electronic Waste Drop-off Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28.
The event will be held at Ford Field. Enter using northbound Stark Road from Schoolcraft Road.

Materials collected include household cleaners, gasoline, oil-based paint, pesticides, fungicides and electronic waste, said Brian Wilson, superintendent of public service.

The Drop-off Day is restricted to residents of Livonia, Northville and Northville Township only.
