Man, how much money can this 15 year old make??? I have no problems with the show, or Miley. She seems to be level headed and the show is something I have no problem with my kids watching ( I can't say that about most other programming).

I love the free market, and I understand the concerts sold out quickly, and have no complaints with the high prices.

But 15 bucks to see a 3d concert movie is insane! This kid is going to be challenging Bill Gates and Sam Walton pretty soon  .

Wouldn't you know it, the rotating ad when i went to read this message was for the movie.

I agree with everything you said. My big question is whether she'll have a long healthy successful career or implode when she turns 18. I sure hope it's the former.

15 bucks for a movie is totally ridiculous. I don't care what the movie is. You can go see U2 3D at the IMAX at The Henry Ford Museum for under 12 bucks...

Ha! $15 is a bargain in comparison to the concert ticket prices. My brother, who thinks nothing of spending $1000 a seat for concert tickets was absolutely shocked to find out that good tickets for the recent HM would cost $5000 per seat through his usual ticket source.

We got tickets for both concerts at ticketmaster and the highest seats were $66. If you bought them second hand then they were outrageous. We were lucky. I was able to go to ticketmaster.com right when they went on sale and got them for both concerts. The regular ticket prices weren't bad at all...it was the scalpers.

Yes, I was talking about scalpers, but they will charge whatever the "market" will bear, and there must have been parents willing to spend that kind of money to get their hands on those tickets!

actually they extended it because of how it sold out so quickly.

so now they're just letting it run it's course in theaters like every other movie.

I think the "limited" time thing was a marketing tactic. It's interesting that they are now letting it run like a regular movie. I think Hannah (the singer/actress) will be around for a "limited" time.
