I had HEARD, CVS was interested since Rite Aid had shut down in the Newburg 5,(kittykorner) AND the garden shop in Dearborn at Outer Drive (brain freeze) was interested in Frank's place, but only if they could get the CVS footage. |

I knew CVS was trying to move there. I didn't know they would build a new building. I will ask as CVS. |

It is going to be a CVS. One of the managers told me their target date is June 2008. As far as she knew they are adding a drive thru too. I have heard that English Gardens pulled out of the possiable deal with the old Franks Nursery because the building owners told them they had to enclose the outdoor area, and they said no. |

Wow - thanks for the info. I'm surprised Livonia approved another drug store in the city. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad something is going into the empty area but we already have a Rite Aid and Walgreens just one mile up the road. It's crazy the number of drug stores in our city. |

What's really crazy is the number that have been opened, and then closed within a few years or less. Think about the 5 mile & Merriman location or the Farmington and Plymouth road location. Both had brand new drug stores built on them, only to be abandoned by the parent companies. mmmmkay? |

How about a charter school??
Centrally located, take down the realtor office. There'd be enough parking, heck take down the whole strip mall, enough room for a playground too. |

Livonia mall would be a good place for that. Tear down that ghost town and build it.

Sears and Value City still seems to have a good amount of traffic. But again there's another of our city libraries nearby, great place for research and novels, and Baker's Square to top off a good read! |

Can we have it as a K-12 school and have administrators that listen to the parents? That's my vision for this community. |

It's got my vote, we could have a meeting now and have a consensus. OhK this meeting is called to order, is there any discussion waiting waiting Ok then, seeing no discussion, we'll have it a K-8 and a 9-12 at the opposite end of the building. This meeting is adjourned. Goodbye George, and Goodbye puppylover |

You were on the forum at 11:30pm when I posted the message, it was just George you and me. Your message, above, though wasn't made until an hour after the consensus was reached. You didn't get dragged in, you were inlcuded in the group. |
| I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be WRONG. | |
