Dear Mr. Liepa: PLEASE, for the sake of our district, submit your application for this job! It will probably pay more which is exactly what you are looking for! If you get the job, please take your incompent staff with you. Our district cannot be revitalized with you and your incompetents in charge. http://www.hometownlife.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070513/NEWS02/705130307/1019 "Search begins for B'ham superintendent BY GREG KOWALSKI STAFF WRITER The search is on for a new Birmingham school superintendent. The school board has hired the firm of Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates of Glenville, Ill., to begin a national search to replace John Hoeffler, who will retire from the district on July 31. ADVERTISEMENT Hazard, Young, Attea is an executive search and consulting services firm. The position is already listed on the firm's Web site but with no details. "They will do a national search," said Marcia Wilkinson, the district's spokeswoman. No time line has been set, but at its May 15 meeting the school board will develop a plan to provide for an interim superintendent to fill a gap between the time Hoeffler leaves and a new superintendent takes over, should there be a gap. "It will depend on how long the process takes," Wilkinson said. Candidates will be solicited in June and July and interviewed in August. The salary for the new superintendent has not been determined yet, Wilkinson said. Hoeffler is the longest-serving superintendent in Oakland County. He joined the Birmingham schools in 1990 after serving five years as superintendent in Worthington, Ohio. He announced he is retiring from Birmingham on March 6." |

I think the sooner that Liepa leaves the district the sooner the healing process can begin. |

That is a great idea!!! At least most of the people there would like and respect him for a little while!!!! (Until he messes up that community as well!!!) Thank you again Dr. Liepa, staff and BOE members. YOu may have retained your jobs, but you are disrespected and disliked by half of the city you live in!!! |
