Charlie hated the old Ulfric's place. A Cabin in the woods of the lupanar. Bah it afforded no luxury out here. Generator and well waters. Much different from Charlie's own high rise luxury apartment deep within politiker territory. But the secret basement of the little cabin. Used as a safe house and a place to hold newly trained wolves to keep them from killing humans during their first changes, it was the perfect little pen for his new pet. Charlie had had his men bring her down and helped to secure her with silver chains within the caged area of the basement before leaving him with her. "Go watch for the wolf. He will come for her but I need more time." He said to them. She was starting to come to as the men left. Ogling her naked form one last time before going back up. Charlie smiled as she started coming too. He began plucking the four darts they had had to shoot into her to keep her out of it. Smiling dementedly as he watched some blood trickle from the wound. Hmmm if things went well maybe he could barter her to one of the more twisted minds of the vampires for some more help. A couple of names flipped through his mind. HE smiled as she wakened. "Morning sleepy head." Charlie said gailey. "Hope you'll find your new home comfortable." He laughed. He moved in leaning over her to show her his dominance over her. He leered down at her. "How do you come to have a Wolf Dominant over you. Are you beeing a naughty little cat and sleeping with another species?" Charlie leered pumping his hips towards her head suggestivly. |

Joss groaned as she awoke. Finding her arms pulled high above her head and her ankles tied together and the man who had shot her looming over her. It took her a few minutes to really focus in her side throbbing. She tried to move as he spoke but as she pulled the chains dug into her wrists and burned. She cried out her body shaking from the pain as the man continued to loom over her. He finally spoke and she just stared at him dully. Still in the tranq fog she didn't really process what he was saying. Then he was suddenly pumping his crotch in her face. She shrinked back the chains pulling making it burn more. She swore she could smell her flesh burning. |

WHen she just shrinked away Charlie grew irritated. He reached down grabbing her buy the throat and slamming her against the wall she was chained to. "Answer the questions you little shecat bitch. Why do you follow a wolf? What power does he have over you?" He said pressing his face into hers his fingers tightening around her throat. She was so small and fragile. Just like he usually liked them. So fun and easy to toss around and break to his whim. He turned her head raising his other hand he shifted just his hand into a claw. "Start answering missy before I start cutting things just to see if they'll grow back." He said bring his claw in using one claw to gently scrape the side of her bare breast. |

Joss squeaked as he grabbed her by the throat. She whimpered as he leaned in close. She opened her mouth to answer his questions but then he went further and showed his claws, literally. Joss closed her eyes then suddenly screamed as she felt the claw against her flesh. If he wanted answers he'd have to stop a moment from terrorizing her. Maybe someone could hear her? She didn't realize the basement was quite sound proofed. "Please please. He... He... he helps me." She whimpered the claw dragging along her flesh the other hand tight around her throat. Her wrists and ankles burning from the silver. "He's my alpha because he's my friend. Because he wants to help me. Not hurt me." She whimpered. "Nothing more then friends... nothing...I have... someone else... " Joss sobbed. |

Conall prowled through the woods of the Lupanar. The bastards had lit several huge bonfires in preparation fo his arrival. The smoke not only made it hard to see but also shattered any hope of finding Joss by scent. Another leapt at him from the shadows, hoping that the element of surprise would aid him. He was wrong. Conalls already bloodied sword sliced him in two mid-pounce. He didn't even change his pace. Fire raged in his eyes as he marched onwards. If they'd hurt her... |

A man appeared out of the smoke. He was not changed like the others. He stood there in jeans and an open flannel shirt. He held up his hands in a way of surrender and show of no harm. The others were fools to go against this man. Jay knew who he was, but he also knew Charlie wouldn't listen to him. Charlie had his own ways. Jay was just biding his time. "If you don't want her dead you will stop this. He will kill her just to spite you." Jay called out to Conall. "Please if you value her life at all you will cease." |

Conall stopped and his eyes burned into the man. "I could kill you before you had the chance to move,' he said his voice no more than a growl and the muscles of his sword arm twitching to show he was tempted. But there could be some other failsafe he hadnt seen yet. "Say your piece." He snarled. |

Jay's arms lowered as well as his eyes. A slight tilt of the head to stretch his neck slightly to show his submission to this man. He was much used to showing submission though that wasn't who he was. "He's scared by you. He doesn't know who you are. He doesn't care to learn anything about old pack ways. He wants to rule his way. If you continue to kill all those who follow him he will kill her. I understand your rage but please. For her sake do not kill anymore." "He's scared. Trapped prey does rash things." Jay added. He couldn't do more then this. He was risking himself just by saying this much. Both to Conall's sword and Charlie's anger. |

Charlie: Charlie actually smiled when she said she had someone else. Instantly thinking there was someone else he could gain power over by holding her. The little feline bitch could prove quite a find. He retracted his claw from her flesh. Watching the blood ooze from the wound slowly. The silver wrapped around her affecting her healing ablity. "Tell me more of your Alpha. Who is he?" Charlie said his one hand still wrapped around her throat. Not squeezing as hard his fingers actually stroking over her neck. |

His smile scared her. She tried looking anywhere but at him. Yes she was submissive. Needed a dominant man. But not a cruel one like this. Not one who inflicted pain on her. She didn't even know who this guy way. But she wasn't about to ask him. "He's... he's a wolf. Conall... He's a bouncer at a club I work at. I'm just .. I'm just a weak little cat. He offered to help me with my beast. Please... please don't hurt me. I... are you wolf? Is this about the attack? I'm sorry. I'm sorry I came to the woods to hunt. I needed to hunt. I didn't know where else to go." Jocelyn babbled tears trickling from her eyes. |

So this bastard who ahd Joss was scared of him? He should be. No matter what spells protected him or masked his scent Conall would find him and make him pay. "What does he want with Joss?" Conall growled. "This cant be just about invasion of territory." Their ring-leader was obviously new and deluded. There was a reason Pack law had barely changed in thousands of years. It worked. If Conall didnt put this guy down soon, another Pack probably would. Start bending the rules for yourself and you're no better than an exile. "If you want me to stop slaughtering your people I need assurance that Joss is still alive and unharmed and that she will remain so." Conall did not like negotiations but maybe if he could exchange his life, for Joss's, that would be enough. But would he do that? Without even a split second hesitation. |

Jay remained in his submissive posturing. "He wants her only as leverage against you. You killed his men. He feels it is in his right to take one of yours. Figure you out so to speak." Jay answered simply. He knew Charlie's mind set. Didn't agree with it necessarily but he knew it. He sighed as Conall demanded assurances. "She is alive. Of that alone I can assure you." Jay said not being in the room with Charlie and Joss he couldn't attest to anything further. "I can go and check for you r further assurances. Wait here." Jay said and quick as a cat he disappeared back into the smoke. Part of him wondered if Conall would follow him. And he knew he wouldn't stop Conall if he did. Charlie needed to be taken down. And what better way then by an exile. Then he would not be exiled himself for taking out an ulfric without a proper challenge. Jay disappeared into the smoky fog to head to the small cabin in the woods. |

For a moment Conall was tempted to follow. In this thick smoke it would be quite easy to stalk this man back to wherever they were holding Joss and retake her. But what if someone saw him? What if he wasnt going to where Joss was being held? There were too many things that could go wrong. For now he would play their game. The bastard behind this needed Joss for leverage which ment she should still be alive and maybe he could get her out, even if that ment doing something he didnt want to. |

((OOC: Slight skip ahead so I don't have to sit here and rp with myself for a couple turns)) Jay: IT was a good twenty minutes by the time Jay returned. He was sporting a good bruise on the left side of his face which was already turning yellow in it's excellerated healing. He carried a phone with him already in a call he held it out before him and handed it to Conall without a word. He stepped back once he had handed the phone off. Eyes downcast. Charlie (through the phone) "Now scream for the nice alpha so he knows your still alive." Charlie said and not mere seconds later the ever obediant Joss screamed though it was clear there was pain in her cry. "Are you satisfied now that she is not dead." Charlie called through the phone. |

(Ignore the above post. My PC messed up hlafway through posting and I was signed in as Miguel anyway. Apologies.) Conall snarled at Joss's cry of pain. "Stop hurting her! Now!" he roared at the fone. "What do you want her for? What do you want with us?" He could not stand to hear Joss cries. Nothing infuriated him more because he could hear her but not help her. This sadistic bastard would pay, Conall swore to the gods. Conall would feast on his heart. |

Charlie laughed at Conall's order. "I am ulfric here not you. I will do as I like." Charlie spoke calmly through the phone. "What I want with her is simple. She is a great motivator is she not." As Charlie spoke a muffled whimper from Joss could be heard in the background. "I want your honor and word that you will pledge your allegiance to me. You will replace all of my men you have killed by serving me yourself." Charlie said. The haughty ton of victory clear in his voice. "If you do not I will complete what it looks like another has tried to do to her." Charlie continued. |

Conall's blood boiled. He could feel his heart pounding, his veins swelling, his muscles bulging and his beast straining to rear its ugly head and roar before charging in and destroying everything in sight. How dare this arrogant pup insult him! How dare he threaten Joss! But he couldn't let his fury control him. Joss came first. "If I pledge myself to your service, will you let her go?" he asked, his voice defeated. |

Charlie laughed into the phone hearing the defeat in his voice. There was a squeal and a cry of pain from Joss. Charlie laughed again. "Now now now. How could I assure your loyalty without my pretty pawn." Charlie laughed there was a sound of chains rattling then a sharp cry from Joss. "I will however promise to cease hurting her with your loyalty. But for every turn you do against me I will take pleasure in her pain." Charlie sneered into the phone. Jay meanwhile stood back silent tears stung his eyes. Charlie and his manipulations were destroying all the wolves who entered this city. He had hoped Conall could be their salvation but he was falling pray to Charlie's manipulations as well. They were doomed. |

"You have my word for all I am worth that I will be loyal," said Conall. "Just let her go." Conall's mind was alive with plans. His beast resisted him every step of the way but he fought it back. It hated the idea of subordination to someone who didnt deserve it but he would have to deal with it for now. He subdued it with promises of the revenge to come. He would make the guilty pay. |

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. You'll make no further demands of me my Beta wolf." Charlie said. Joss's cries had lulled to a dull whimper in the background. "Tell my man Jay to return to me. I wish to come and watch you submit yourself to me in person." Charlie said then there was a click. The call suddenly ending. Charlie smiled down at his little captive. The silver chains about her wrists were digging into her flesh from her struggles to avoid pain. He smiled knowing it would hurt her when he came back and he went to pull the chains out of her flesh 'to give her relief' as he promised not to hurt her anymore. He exited the steel cage the girl was trapped inside. Twirling the combination look on the cage. No keys to be stolen or found. Only his mind new the combination to the more then sturdy lock. He stepped back waiting for Jay to return smiling in satisfaction at the girls whimpers. |

"He wants you to go back to him," said Conall, chucking the phone back to the waiting man. He knew this bastard was a flase Ulfric. A real Alpha didnt hide behind smoke and lackeys, nor did they gain followers through blackmail and deceit. This creature would never have been allowed to advance so far in society. Conall vaugely wondered how he had accomplished this but his mind was too busy thinking of plans to consider the possibilities. Right now he could only see two roads ahead of him. One required patience. It might take a long time to execute and that could put Joss in danger if she wasnt released plus that could leave him in this mongrels service for far longer than he'd like if the proper opportunity didn't present itself. The other option meant Conall would have be somebody he never thought he would be again and wasnt prepared to be at this point in time but it was faster though impossible if Joss wasn't released. The phrase 'between a rock and a hard place' crept into his mind as he waited to see the face of his enemy. |

Jay nodded solemnly plucking the phone out of the air he headed back through the smoke. When he reached Charlie he looked guiltily upon the broken female within the cage. She was not one of them, she was not wolf, she should not have to endure Charlie's cruelty. The blood on her b ody was dry the wounds already closed. But still Jay's beast stirred egged on by the weaker and trapped cat in the cage. He had control though. He had to being around Charlie. He remembered the death of his own sister at Charlie's hands. He swore he'd do all he could to save this girl from that fate. Charlie stroked Jay's head as he stared at Joss. "Smells good doesn't she boy. Stay here watch over her." Charlie purred to him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Soon Charlie himself strode from the smoke. His dark shoulder length wavy hair bounced over his shoulders. His pretty boy looks hiding the monster that was inside him. He stopped out of reach of Conall. A sick smile spreading over his face. "My my my aren't you the gruff crusader." CHarlie commented taking in Conall and his blood stained sword. "Kneel to me my Celt Wolf. Kneel to your new Ulfric and show your submission." Charlie demanded. |

As Conall slowly sunk to one knee he seethed. At any moment he thought he beast wouldtake over an wreak havok as it never had before. But he fought it back. The veins in his neck bulged. His teeth gritted so hard his gums bled. His fists clenched so tightly his nails cut into his palms. But kneel he did. "Now will you let her go?" he asked. |

Charlie snarled looking down at the large man fallen before him. SO easily with just the threat of hurting a little nothing of a girl. So easy. "Keep persisting with letting her go and I will let her go to the gates of heaven first." Charlie sneered. He strode towards the kneeling man. He grasped Conall's hair tugging it back so the larger man could look up at him. "Perhaps after you've done something for me. You have the power to do what no others could do for me. Your dominance calls to others across species. I want all the weres of the city to kneel to me as you do. And you are going to help me acheive this. Your going to lull them in with your pride and your honor. And then all will be mine." Charlie said sounding much to much like a bad storybook villian. "Then perhaps... if you show your loyalty and devotion. I will let the girl out of her cage to join you all on your knees before me." |

Conall supressed a snarl as his head was jerked backwards. The temptation was so strong to kill this man now. He may be strong but he was far stronger and for all he know his lackeys would hurt Joss at a moments notice. Now was not the time. "Please," begged Conall. "Please. I'll do anything you command. Please release her. You have my sworn loyality, you dont need her anymore. I'll do anything." |

Charlie sneered down at Conall. The great man diminishing even further in his eyes as he groveled for the life of the girl. "You just bought her a lashing with a chain with your sniveling. Continue to do so and it will end in her death. You control her fate. She was yours and now as you are mine so is she. I will have all those of two natures under my control. She is going nowhere. Your sniveling only causes her pain. I'm sure just the sight of you so weak before me would make her sick." Charlie spat He leaned in close still holding Conall's hair. He whispered. "How does it feel to know you have condemned her to more pain. You disobey me. I punish. You would probably not even notice the pain of a lashing. She... she is so small so easily broken. Broken already by many it seems. A little cat in heat. I will make her mewl for me as I run the silver chains across her back." Charlie released Conall and stepped back. "I suggest you get hunting for your prey. For every day you do not replace a follower of mine you have killed. She will lose a part of herself." Charlie said starting to step back into the smoke. |

Conall stood slowly, the air around him almost shimmering from his pure rage. So Joss would not be released and now she would be punished for his even suggesting it. It took every ounce of willpower Conall had not to pounce right now and beat the man to death. Instead he forced himself to turn and sprinted away. He took all of his rage, all of his hatred and frustration at being controlled by that mnaipulating coward and at his own failure to rescue Joss and poured it into his run. He sped through the woods until he came to the city and did not stop there. He bounded up to the rooftops and sprinted across them. He just wanted to keep running forever. He changed forms mid leap, using the added strength of this form to carrying him faster still. His dug his claws into mortar and climbed the tallest building he could find. Reaching the top he threw back his head, spread his arms and let out a long, mighty howl. Once he was done he felt much calmer. Now he could focus on his problem without being overwhelmed by rage. He knew already that he would not do as Charlie asked and replace those he had killed. He would not create new werewolves. The only other he had ever created had died in the belly of its mother and he hadn't the heart to create another, even by biting. The problem was then to get Joss away from Charlie before she could be hurt further. Conall would have to stay however. He had given his word to serve Charlie whether Joss was there or not. |
