Mai Hem
Fresh Meat
Mai's eyes glazed over. She was in a sort of half trance after seeing the crimson fluid flow deeply from the incision she had made on the young man. The young man's face was the picture perfect face of terror. And that alone was like 'food' to Mai. Ever since she was a child, she was never 'quite' right by normal standards. But normal was boring in Mai's mind and she was quite capable of passing for normal if she truly wanted too but then Mai wasn't really into lies. Of course lies came in handy when you needed to trap prey.

This prey had accompanied her home on the promise that she would give him the time of his life. To Mai it wasn't a lie at all. She was going to give him the time of his life. Truly one that he would never forget. Mai wagged her index finger at his feeble attempts to struggle at a fained attempt of escape. Her mouth curled into a sadistic smile. One that would truly instigate fear in others. She licked the blood from the knife.
"Mmmm, you taste good" she commented, fixing her dark occulars to his limp form.

It was true. This one wouldn't last much longer and he had seen her face. She had never been caught. It was always someone that no one would miss. After all, would you notice that a backpacker from a backwater country? Mai did not seem to think so. After all, she was still free and free to exact pain and misery on those she chose. Males were the best because they always acted so brave and nothing is more satisfying to Mai than to her a man weep and beg for his life. Of course at first she 'promised' to let them go but it was a broken one. she had no intent of letting anyone go. She had yet to find one that would last longer than the usual two days. And this one life force was quickly ebbing away and that made Mai sorely dissapointed.

Mai had come to her senses again. Dissapointed and angered that this one did not last longer. In her frustration, she ran the knife cleanly through the man's adam's apple.
"If you lasted longer, I wouldn't have to have done that" she quickly blamed the man.
For this was never her fault. They should have lasted longer. It wasn't her fault that they didn't want live. That their force of will wasn't strong enough.

Mai cleaned herself up. Blood would scare other 'potentials' away.

--------

Mai was growing severly bored from walking around this city. She was in need of something to do and there was no one to do it with. She did want company but not in the way that most would to expect.

What Mai needed was someone to 'keep' her. Because if left to her own devices for long enough. she would leave a trail of bodies of those she had inflicted pain up and not truly care whether they were still on this mortal coil or not.

Mai yawned not from the tiredness that now racked her slim frame but from sheer boredom. There had to be a way to relieve it. There just had to be something to do. Was there a fly willing to be caught in this beautiful spider's trap? In this City Mai thought anything is possible.

Another night, another party, another drug, another victim, the repetition was beginning to bore Eva to be quite honest, and she was in need of something different, something spontaniouse, and out of the norm. She needed a real boost, the vibes she had been feeding off lately were all the same, and she wasn't getting the high she used to off of her feedings.

So here she was trapsing around her neighborhood again, same as the night before, looking for a fight, or something to quench her thirst.

Eva was quite the site against the background of the dark rundown streets of Rec Road. Her steel toed combat boots clunked across the cobblestone street, echoing off of the broken walls of the buildings that surounded her. She was dressed for the weather, the sweltering heat of the city's summer was qualmed slightly by the breeze that blew the leaves across the streets. Yet she still found the red vinyl of her short strapless jumper sticking to her pale skin. Her silver coiled snake arm braclet was cool against her skin in the heat though.

She turned the corner and stopped stepping to the side and into the shadows, drawing her switchblade from the side of her boot as she watched a thin woman with orange hair walk underneath one of the streetlights. Eva's breath caught in her throat, and she was left to watch the woman move through the night. She smiled her interest deffinately peaked, and stepped out of the shadow, placing her switchblade into the front of her jumper between her cleavage. She began walking towards the woman at a stalking pace, her boots clicking across the cobblestone in a rythmic pattern as she began closing the distance between them slowly.
