Soliel stretched, feeling the pull of her muscle in her slim, lith body. Moving to a new place had been the right idea, hadn't it? She did not want to be Leader. After all she was more than happy being Ombre, it packed more fun into the title. But Soliel would never have been described as a cruel person. Yes she did have a cruel streak but only towards those who threatened her, her Pard or those she held dear. It was not a wise idea to threaten those who gathered around Soliel because she would hurt those that belong to you and make sure your world fell down around your ears. Yes, Soliel had a vindictive streak.

She had decorated her home how she had wanted it to be. Not in fluffy colours as she called them but in burgundy's, dark wine, reds and purples were the fashion throughout the home. Through the large stereo system poured The 69 Eyes. Soliel was getting ready to make her first appearence within the City. She hoped there was a Pard here and she eternally hoped that it did not need a Leader. She crossed her fingers and prayed like mad that it had a leader. Soliel could lead but it wasn't what she wanted. To many people looking to her as to what to do, when to do. She DID NOT want that much control over someone's life. She believed that you control your own life and your destiny and that no one should do it for you.

Soliel's legs were encassed in washed out tight fitting jeans accompanied with flat shoes because Soliel like the idea of being able to move quick and you just could not do it in heels. Heels were for girly girls and she was not by any means a Girly girl. The top was jet black and said it bright green writing "Ask me again, I might change my mind". She had laughed to herself when she had first seen the top. And besides, where her destination was she didn't think they would particulary mind what her top said. But she was ready to go.

-------

The first floor proved to be non exciting. It was the type of music that Soliel could not stand. As she so aptly named it was music to melt your brains by. In fact to her it wasn't music, it was nothing but everyone had their own individual tastes and if people like to fill their brains and ears with that sort of mush then who was she to argue?

But the second floor? Oh yes. She could practically spend all day and night here. It was more to her tastes. To everyone around her though, she would seem a mere mortal for she leaked no supernatural energy. She was hiding her beast not because she was ashamed of it but this was a new city and she was likely stepping on someone's toes by being here. It was best to play the mortal at least until she got a sense of the place.

She sauntered towards the bar, her hips moving in seeming time with the grinding music that was playing and surrounding Soliel's petite ears. She hoisted herself into a stool and placing her black beaded purse on the bar, she placed her fingers into her mouth and gave a short, sharp shrill whistle that managed to get the attention of the bar tender.

"What'll it be?" They asked.
"A Harvey Wall Banger"
"What?"
By that, Soliel knew that the bartender did not have the slightest what the drink was. So she beckoned for him to lean closer so he would hear her better.
"Get a pint glass, a put a shot of every spirit you got in this bar into it, if you get it to me inside five minutes, I'll give twenty tip"The bartender looked more than pleased with the sound of twenty tip. Soliel raised hereyebrows looking at him. Probably never had a twenty tip in his life. But then Soliel had money to burn and it wasn't like she could take it with her when she kicked the bucket and shuffled of this mortal coil.

It was less than five minutes later and the pint glass was set down in front of her, filled to its very brim. Must've had a lot spirits.
"That's sixty for the glass"
Soliel shrugged and gave him the money. It wasn't any skin of her back. She turned round to scan the sea of faces that were inahbiting the club. Raising the glass to her mouth, She downed it in one go which to her was the only way to finish a Harvey Wall Banger.

Another night of work had begun and Conall had slipped so easily one again into the role of bouncer at Warehouse 25. After all, he didnt exactly have far to slip. He moved through the crowd, darkness and light slipping across his form as the lights above the dancefloor twirled and changed colour. His eyes searched across the room as he prowled, half hoping something as exciting as his first night here. But he doubted it.
He moved up to the second floor. He still hadnt't found a bar with his kind of music in it. Not the original Irish melodies he would have once sung along to but the fast, heavy music of this age he had discovered. It pumped the blood and made one want to roar. Metal they had called it when he asked them. He even liked the name.
He rolled his shoulders and began to stalk his way around this floor, looking for prey.

Joss had been bringing up sleeves of plastic cups, plastic shot glasses, plastic short tumblers. She had decided it was more cost effective to switch to plastic. In a normal bar having glasses to clean would be so in the long run, but the way this club went through glasses, true glass, it was not. Everynight the floor had to be swept up of all the glass debris. Plus the plastic would be safer.

She was once again hidden behind the bar as she was stocking the underside with the plastic when she heard one of the bartenders charging 60 bucks for a drink. That was just ridiculous. Their most expensive drink with Top Shelf liquor was 30 bucks at the most.

She jumped back to stand up. Since the night of the fight some of the bartenders had started to fear her a little. Hearing rumors of what she was, and had done, all of it greatly exiggerated, and no one seemed to have heard about the aftermath, which was just as well. So it was no surprise when the bartender shrinked a little as she turned her gaze on him.

She walked over to where he was pouring another drink. "60 bucks? IF your gonna double charge for drinks you can leave right now."

"She..she...she asked for a harvey wallbanger." He said starting to sweat he was getting so nervous.

"So..."

"It has every liquor on the bar dumped together." He whined.

"No it doesn't..." Joss countered moving in closer to the guy who backed up into a corner of the bar.

"But thats what she told me..." He whined.

"How did you get a job as bartender here?" SHe asked rhetorically. "You better study your mixing drinks. I'm going to test you before your shift tomorrow. If you fail your done here." Joss said not able to let him go just yet. She needed him here and fortunatly most of the crowd here was beer and shot types.

"For the record. A harvey Wallbanger is 1 part vodka to two parts Orange juice with a jigger of galliano floated on top." Joss barked at him. SHe couldn't decide if the customer had took him or if he had still overcharged her for a splash over every liquor they had.

"Which one?" Joss asked as the bartender pointed at Soleil. Joss walked over to the woman. She put on her managerial smile. Tapping the woman onthe shoulder she spoke over the music. "Hi... I'm the manager I just wanted to apologize for my bartenders ineptness. I assure you it won't happen again. Can I get you a real Harvey Wall..." Joss fell off as she realized the glass in the woman's hand was empty. Joss laughed.

Soliel yawned which could not have been truly good sighn. Perhaps she should go back home and hide out on her music studio. She shook her head. No she'd stick around, perhaps for an hour or so and see if anything intresting happened. It was a club so something had to happen even if it was a fight. It looked like the type of place that would harbour those who truly lived on the voilent side of life.

She scratched the back of her head. Her ears catching only snippets of the conversation behind her. The noise of the music proved to great for the words she was hearing like muffles behind her. Her occulars scanned the ground and found a burling man hulking through the crowd. The little voice in the back of her mind said that's guy who takes care of the trouble makers. But there was something whole entirely odd about him. She knew the feeling had even felt something like it before but she couldn't quite place her finger on it.

Feeling the quizzical tap on her shoulder, Soliel whizzed round in her bar stool to face a young pretty blonde thing.
"Hi... I'm the manager I just wanted to apologize for my bartenders ineptness. I assure you it won't happen again. Can I get you a real Harvey Wall..."

The blonde girl never did get to finish her sentence. Soliel knew it was because she had already finished the glass that her hand was now curling around. At least she had gathered a little information about the girl.
"I know what you're thinking" she leaned in close, "But a Harvey Wall Banger where I come from is every spirit behind the bar and the only way to drink is down in one but if your really want to help me out" she said with a smile, "You can stop working for an hour and join me in a drink cause so far this town has proved lousy in the friend department" Soliel finished saying with a laugh.

Joss's eyebrow quirked up as the woman explained that she had gotten what she asked for. So she wouldn't kill the bartender for overcharging the woman. But she would still test his skills.

Joss was a bit surprised though at the woman's question to join her and make friends. She stared at her and tried not to overtly look like she was sniffing her. There was the faintest sent of leopard on the woman. It wasn't as strong as her own scent. Perhaps like the woman had come into contact with a leopard. This intrigued Joss.

"I uh... I still have to restock the third floor bar with cups. But I could take a little break after that I suppose." Joss said. She was intrigued by the woman and was finding it hard to refuse her. Instinctually she always wanted to submit to others wills, and it was no different with this woman. But more so she wanted to find out if this woman know other were-cats. The scent was so faint because of the woman's alpha ability to surpress her beast Joss didn't realize the woman was the cat herself.

Joss wiped her hand off on the side of her jeans. She stretched it over the bar to the woman. Her shoulder was still stiff from it's wound earlier that week and stretching it across the bar reminded her of that. But oh well. "I'm Joss by the way." She introduced herself.

Conall shot a glimpse at the bar and noticed Joss there, talking to a woman he'd never seen before. He felt a smile inside as he saw Joss. He was glad she was here tonight and so obviously recovered from her injuries. He couldn't see the womans face but he could tell from her body posture that he was confident in herself. Perhaps she was another supernatural. But she didnt seem like a threat. Conall continued to move through the crowd. He would check the third floor than return and check incase the young woman was giving Joss trouble.

Soliel partially smiled at the girl's comment. she still had to restock the bar on the third floor. That was pretty much okay. But shouldn't she be delagating such work to thos around her? After all wasn't she the manager? It was their job to look after the club but they could also delagate the work. Like the cups. Soliel shrugged. It was nothing to do with her. If she wanted to pander to the poens that didn't want to work for the money then that was totally her perogative.

"Sure, Go right ahead but I would have one of these boys do it. After all you're manager right?"

Soliel's orbs watched Joss in silence. Sensing something? Soliel's mouth broadened into a smile. Soliel thought the girl was trying to sense just what flavour of furry she was. Which was okay by her. She wouldn't particulary know not until she came right out and asked. Soliel liked being able to pass for human because it made life so much easier at times. Soliel knew that the only other thing that would be truly able to spot her for who and what she is is another Alpha and she highly doubted another Alpha would be floating around in this club somewhere and if they were, they'd have to get closer to her.

"I'm Joss by the way"
Soliel took the hand, giving it a firm shake, "Soliel but most people call me Sunn" At the same time as shaking her head, Soliel let her 'power' ripple across her skin before it was 'sucked' back in. Soliel was curious as to how this girl would react to the same flavour cat only one thats stronger.

Eyes burrowing a hole between the shoulder blades. She had a feeling those eyes would make an appearence at some point.

"I could leave it to them to do but it's a new policy changing to plastic, plus gives me a good reason to check on everyone." Joss said a little self conscious and oddly prickled that this woman was commenting on her managerial style. Though she still offered the woman her hand in introduction. She smiled "Please to meet you Sun..."

It was then that it hit her. Or the woman hit her, with her power, the power of an alpha cat. Joss gasped outloud jerking her hand back from the womans gasp so sharply she flung herself back against the back of the bar. Making some of the bottles there clatter together.

She was shaking and staring wide eyed at Sun cowering. Her skin was prickling with the womans power. It was different then anything she had ever felt from Derrick, her old Nimir-raj. But then he hadn't use his power on her save for the beginning to control her beast. Then he'd barely touched, as if afraid of being compared to his lecherous son. Son, when she got her wits back to herself she lowered her gaze, tossed her hair over her shoulder stretching her neck, marcus's bite barely visible now, showing Sun a submissive greeting, though improperly from some feet away.

Joss didn't say anything as she suddenly turned grabbing up a box and easily hefting it onto her shoulders she scattered quickly heading up the stairs towards the third floor bar. Needing to get away as her mind raced. Was their a pard here and Sun was coming to punish her for not finding them and paying tribute. Would she be hunted for forming an odd pack with a Wolf?

Joss was shaking by the time she ducked behind the third floor bar that she just knelt there with a boxcutter hovering over the boxes...

Conall had been prowling the third floor when he'd run into his first bit of action this evening. A young male was getting a bit rough with a girl who obviously didnt want to know when Conalls great hand landed heavily on the drunkards shoulder and wheeled him round easily.
"It's time for you to leave." he said. It wasnt a growl. Just a deep, threatening tone.
"Get lost pal." slurred the drunkard, to intoxicated to know when he should be afraid. Conall didn't particularly feel like dirtying his hands on this scum and besides, Joss was keen on the 'no blood' thing. He glared straight into the human, his eyes glowing red. The man fell to the ground clutching his chest and stomach in pain. Conall never had to lay a finger on him. He knelt down to where the man lay, gasping from the sharpness of the pain even though it had already ceased.
"This is your last warning." he said. "Get out." The man staggered to his feet and made a beeline for the stairs. Conall stood up and smiled inwardly to himself when he noticed Joss at the bar. She looked very flustered. Maybe that woman had done something. He made his way over and peered over the bartop to where Joss knelt, cowering.
"Problems?" he asked.

Joss gasped, her head snapping up to look at Conall as he suddenly spoke from over her. Her heart was racing. Her shoulder was burning from the way she had carried the box. Her hand shook over the box as much made the floor vibrate beneath her knees and the bartenders up here hustled.

She looked up at Conall. "Alpha Cat." She said barely audible over the music. But that was probably enough to pique his interest. She was scared. She hadn't expected to find another pard, another alpha cat. She had Conall as an Alpha and frankly she wasn't about to leave him.

"Sorry I just... caught off guard." Joss said finally cutting into the box and sliding sleeves of cups out. Stocking them under the shelves. Still shaking as the effects of Soleils power rush through her kept her off kilter.

An alpha cat? The woman with the dark hair. It must have been her. Joss was clearly thrown and afraid.
"Don't worry Becc. Your safe as long as I'm here." he said to her. "I'm going to see this for myself." He turned away and made his way to the stairs. He was in no hurry. He wasnt about to start a fight. He just wanted to check out this newcomer. Then the thought struck him. Had she come to get Joss? Would Joss leave him now? Would he be alone again? Would Joss be punished for consorting with him? He felt himself tensing up and forced himself to relax. He knew nothing yet. It could just be conincidence, this alpha cat being here.
He reached the foot of the stairs and scanned the dark room. She was still there at the bar.
"What's your story?" he said as he reached her and sat on the next stool, ordering a whiskey. He wasnt supposed to drink on the job but one couldn't hurt and he could really use it. He didnt turn to face her yet and kept his voice calm. For the moment she was only a potential threat and he was fairly sure his power was greater than hers.

Soliel hadn't quite expected that reaction from Joss. She hadn't meant to scare her. That wasn't her intention to put the fear of god into her. Joss had did her best to show a submissive greeting but it was clear she was still reeling from the little blast. Soliel's guts chruned with guilt. Already she had made another afraid of her. Soliel's dark eyes wayched as Joss scarpered away, carrying the box with her.

Soliel waved her glass at the bar tender signalling that she wanted another drink. She supposed that Joss wouldn't come near her now with a ten foot barge pool at least not of her own accord and Soliel didn't particulary care to force people into doing things they didn't want to do. And Joss didn't seem to care for Soliel's company at least not for the moment.

"What's your story?" She heard a gruff voice question.
Soliel angled her head slightly to take a look at just who sat down beside her. The bar tender had set her pint glass down in front of her and Soliel had pinned the whole lot in one before she had even answered him. Right now she was showing him that she wasn't about to be pushed around.

"What's my story?" she questioned him, "Is it not customery to ask a person their name before asking them questions about their personal life or are you just that rude and over-bearing?" She answered back, keeping her tone flat and even.

Soliel's body posture gave off no dangerous vibes. In fact, she appeared to be the gentlest person in the world.

"I'm just that rude and overbearing." replied Conall. "Or perhaps the name is the least important thing about a person. Maybe who they really are and how they came to be here intimidating bar managers is more important." He looked over to her and smiled slightly to show his slight joke. She was strong willed and confident but she wasnt showing any aggressive signs. Perhaps she was simply testing the water alittle. He wasnt worried either way. She might be an alpha cat but he had alot of age on her.

Soliel's features went quite stoic when Conall showed a slight smile. Nothing at this moment was particulary amusing to her. And as for his comment? well it prickled her skin but not enough to make her angry. Fighting is a last resort and even at that she would not be pushed into neandrethal ways. She leaned with her back to the bar.

"Oh. I suppose we're talking of your friend? I had no intention of scaring her and if I did, I do apologize. But sniffing me without asking I don't like"

She swung round in the bar stool, facing the bar once more. Taking note of what Conall was drinking, her nose wrinkled. Only the one spirit in a glass, she shook her head. A man that didn't know how to drink and at that thought a smile of mild amusement formed on her lips. She order two pint glasses of what she had been previously drinking, every spirit behind the bar in one pint glass. Most people couldn't pin the drink in one go, in fact it took some two goes to clear the glass. If he was as man as he put himself across to be then he shouldn't have any problems finishing this in one go.

"Here, drink this. It's a little stronger than that muck you got there" she paused, "Then bring your friend Joss back here so that I get a chance to apologise in person"

It wasn't an order she was issuing but more of a plea that was asking him to help her out. Soliel then took the pint glass and setting it too her lips she proceeded to down the glass in one.

This cat was more childish in her drinking ways than some of the youngest pups of his old caern. He could remember they used to play similar games. Fill up a glass with everything they could and see who could drink it without vomiting.
"I drink for the taste. Not for the effects." he said. But now it was a matter of pride. She was testing him. She had no idea what she was up against. He downed the pint with ease. This stuff wasnt half as strong as what they had in his day. But he had had enough of these games. He was working after all. He stood and turned his back.
"Joss'll be back when shes ready. After all, she has nothing to fear here. I'm her alpha." He said over his shoulder before moving off once more into the crowd to scan for trouble. He headed down the stairs as he hadnt checked the bottom floor for awhile.

Joss finished stocking the third floor bar. Informing the bartenders to start phasing out the glasses and switch to the plastic. She really didn't have to stay long on the third floor. For some reason it was her most effeiciently run bar. Maybe cause some people got lazy and never made it up to the third floor. There was still a crowd of course, but not as much as the lower levels.

When she was done she moved to the top of the stairs. She had promised Soleil that she would join her in friendship. But that had been before the woman had jolted her with power. But still Joss was never one to reneg on her promises.

If the woman wanted to beat her with power, showboat or prove her dominance Joss would just turn and leave. She was not of this woman's pard. She did not have to take it. At least that's what she told herself. Besides Conall had gone down there. He would be there.

She made her way onto the second floor and moved through the sea of people to head for the bar at the backof the room, unknowingly passing Conall as he made his way out of the room. She made her way towards Soleil who was still sitting on the bar. Conall was nowhere around. Joss paused for a moment.

She was scared of the woman now. As her first response to Joss had been a show of power. And she had criticized the way Joss worked. Not exactly endearing. But Joss didn't lie and she had said she would take a break from her work with Soleil. And so she would. Though it would probably be to her own detriment.

She slid in against the bar beside SOlieil. She plastered a fakish smile on her face as she turned to Soleil... "You wanna dance?" Joss asked thinking perhaps dancing would keep them occupied doing something besides talking.

A dog a Cat's Alpha. Now there was a turn up for the books. She had no qualms if it was love between the two after all Soliel was all for inter-species relations even if others were not. She needed to know how exactly this came about after all it peaked the curiousity in the cat inside her. Soliel laughed as Conall walked away, typical dog and oh so very typical man can not stand woman or cat that can give a show of strength. Besides, Soliel never did like one particular spirit on its own, she preferred them mixed together.

"You wanna dance?"
There was a thing Soliel didn't know and some major cohersion would be needed to even get her on the dance floor. Soliel shook her head and motioned for Joss to sit beside her.
"Look, I apologise, If I scared you. That wasn't my intention. But next time instead of sniffing me without it appearing so, ask me. I don't like sniffing and if you are wondering I'm not here for you or to make you join any pard but I would like to know how a dog and a cat came to be together"

Joss's shoulder's slumped as Soleil declined her offer to dance. She was in a way almost afraid to talk to this woman. She kept her eyes downcast submissively as the woman motioned for her to sit in the stool beside her.

Joss sat just nodding through her apology. She didn't say anything but she sniffed everyone. In this city it was her most keen sense and helped her to know what she was dealing with. "I'm sorry I just..." she shrugged. "It's my strongest sense. But somehow you hide it. I thought my senses were failing." Joss said leaning in slightly so she could whisper to this woman. Obviously she wanted to hide what she was. Joss had learned quickly that it wasn't necessary to do so in this city. But that was Soleil's perogative not hers.

She sighed a bit relieved that the woman wasn't here to get her to join any pard. She was happy with the one she had. The oddball of it suited her just fine.

She snapped up a bit finally looking at Soleil as she asked how she and Conall came to be together. "We're not... together... together. He's ... he's my alpha, my mentor... he's taken me under his wing. He's my friend... not my boyfriend. You must have spoke to him. You must have sensed... he has power... and he's willing to help me, who has so little. He is a good man... and a good wolf." She said she hadn't liked that Soleil had called him a dog. Joss thought perhaps she was being a bit derrogatory. She didn't stick up for herself but when she thought Soleil was insulting COnall she snapped to attention.

Conall had scowered the first floor for prey but had found nothing. Already humans were avoiding the new scary bouncer who seemed to have freakish powers and vampires had spread the word to beware of the powerful werewolf prowling Warehouse 25. By now he was growing used to the heat and the pounding music and it didnt have such a pull on his beast anymore.
Disappointed by the lack of trouble-makers he made his way back up to the second floor. By this point Joss had come back down and he immediately spotted her. She was talking to the alpha cat as he had expected she would be. He wasn't sure about this alpha cat. She had certainly laid down a challenge of sorts for him and seemed to be testing him. Perhaps she had no pack of her own and was seeking to take control over him and Joss. This concept almost amused him. She had no idea what she was up against. Still, he liked her fire. Perhaps they could be comrades in future. It would be interesting to see how she handled herself in a fight.
He decided to keep his distance for the moment and let Joss figure out what to do. After all, he was in aggressive mode, his job brought it out of him. He clicked his neck, as was his habit. This could get much more interesting, he thought.

Soliel noticed what could be described as disapointment in Joss. She hadn't thought before but the word had fallen from her mouth before she had a chance to think about it. She shook her head knowing that she should really think before she spoke. But it was a bad habit that Soliel couldn't seem to shake free from.
"I apologise. I shouldn't have said that. And I'm sorry if you think that I implied that you and he were going out. But if it suits you guys then work away. I'm pleased that you found someone to help you even if its a wolf. And you should always remember Joss that power isn't everything" Soliel answered in reply.

Soliel smiled, bright and full which was unusual for her and it was somewhat apparent in her eyes that she wasn't really used to this kind of display. She suddenly glanced up her nose twitching like mad. Her headed tilted slightly to the left, listening intently.
"I hope your wolf is up for a little rough and tumble and if anything is broken I will pay for it."

She looked towards Conall and pointed to the far side of the room, hoping that he would see or sense what she had, trouble brewing. When her attention was drew back to the source of it, the fighting had already began. Soliel leapt from her seated position and onto the bar. Running its full length, she leapt from it, somersautling into the air and landing herself clean in the middle of it. Her hand shot out to the left, hitting one squarley on the throat. Sensing the one behind her, her leg came with force and hit fair on the groin.

Both men had collapsed on the floor, groaning with the pain.
"Now, gentlemen, play nice in the sandbox"
What Soliel hadn't seen though was the one coming up behind her with every intent of puttung a knife into her kidney area. She was concentrating to much on the job at hand

A fight had broken out and Conall was already on his way there. He could smell the aggression and intent before anything physical had happened. But some else was there first. The alpha cat. He hung back a second to watch how she handled herself. A bit of a showy entrance he thought but he remembered how he'd been when he was young. Age took away the interest in such displays. Well, mostly. She taken out two of the trouble-makers but hadnt noticed the third behind her. He was armed with a knife. Conall lunged and grabbed him around the neck from behind, lifintg him easily with one hand while the other squeezed his wrist hard enough to make him yelp in pain and drop the knife.
"Not bad." he commented to the alpha cat thoughtfully before casually hurling the man sideways as though he were nothing more than a ragdoll. The mans head impacted the wall and he slumped to the ground unconcious. Conall turned to check for anymore would-be instigators but it seemed their display had put rebellious thoughts right out of the peoples minds.

Joss looked rather confused at Soleil's words. She just nodded and shrugged going back to her downcast eyes routine of submission once Soleil had commented that she wished her luck with Conall. She bit her tongue from saying anything as the woman commented on power. Of course it wasn't everything. Friendship was. Conall had sought o be her friend first. That's what had gained him her respect.

Joss stiffened as she noticed Soleil now sniffing there. *Hmmm hypocritical?* Joss thought to herself as her own nose twitched. But she coudn't smell anything but sweat an agression which was rather common in this club.

Suddenly Soleil was gone up on the bar. The bartenders tried to tell her to get down. Then she was flipping through thye air.

Joss was up on her feet. Realizing it was a fight breaking out. SHe turned to look for Conall but noticed he was already heading for it. He was good at his job. Joss watched as people moved away from the fight, giving her a better view as Conall took out a third guy. Then tossed him aside. Joss remained where she was at the bar as Conall and Soleil seemed to interact.

Maybe she should just slip away.

Soliel turned her ears catching the sound. Damn! how could she miss that? How could she have let her guard down so much? Soliel watched not in fear wonderment or awe but casual curiousity. The man yelped as conall squeezed his wrist. If he squeezed to hard then the man's wrist would break. And for being foolish enough to be involved in a fight then perhaps it was something he deserved.

"Not Bad" the large wolf commented.
Like a wet teabag the man collided with the wall and did not appear to be consious(?). It looked as though the wolf although he probably wouldn't admit it to show off.
"Uh, thanks" Soliel stammered.

Fighting was something she despised. It was for those who could not fight their war with words and those people she truly pitied. But sometimes fighting was all some people could understand. Soliel looked over towards Joss and then back To Conall.
"I'm Soliel, Most call me Sunn" she paused, "Care to join me and your friend Joss and then you can perhaps tell me your name"

He had heard it said that you cannot truely know a person until you either fight them or fight beside them. He'd seen bitter enemies become great friends after fighting their way out through harsh odds and surviving together. But of course that was a bit extreme. She probably wound't have died from the kife blow but if may have hurt alot.
"My name is Conall." he said, his tone creeping back towards its friendlier, Irish accent. "And I'm afraid that unlike the manager, I cant take time off work. There might be more creeps around and I'm the security for this place by myself. Another time." He bowed and walked away. He wasnt sure if people still bowed nowadays but it was a tradition he was fond of.

Soliel gave a slight nod in acknowledgement of Conall sharing his name. Her eyebrow perked when he bowed. The only other man she had known to do such a thing was Mason Drake. She never harboured bad feelings towards the man except that he also wanted to make her a leader of the Pard and that Soliel did not want. She did not think she was a good role model nor a good protector but she had it in her, she did not have the confidence to do it.

Soliel turned and moved towards Joss. Her head was filling with ideas. And one of them was to get Joss and Conall out of this place and to a better work place. Whether they would accept or not was a diffirent matter. She tapped Joss on the shoulder.
"How would you like to work at a small music bar that promotes up and coming talent with better hours and most definitly better pay. I intend to ask Conall along for the ride. Besides, Don't you think the big guy deserves to work somewhere better with a team underneath him?" Soliel said quickly with a smile.

Soliel knew she'd probably recieve some trouble with the owner of this place but it didn't particulary matter. If they were any kind of owner they would have hired more security. Okay so the guy was a wolf but he could not be on three floors at once.

Joss tried to pretend she wasn't paying any attention to the melee Conall and Soleil had so easily broken up. But as the two dispersed, Conall literally bowing out, Joss turned back to the bar ordering a bottle of water from the bartender. It was delivered just as Soleil tapped her on the shoulder.

Joss's smile faded a little as Soleil offered her a job. Hadn't she critiqued her managerial style, and yet she was offering her a job. The smile came back up on her face. "A week earlier and I would have jumped at the chance." Which was so very true. She loved the idea of working with musicians, performers, not DJays and loud music. "But I like it here. I'm a loyalist." She said. AS for Conall though she wouldn't deny him a chance to make better money. "I planned on hiring more security staff for Conall but I'm just starting out here myself. I'm working on it. I can't stop you from offering him a job, nor would I be mad at him if he believes it a better offer. But I am happy where I am." Joss said knowing she would never leave Marcus's club. Not so long as he still wanted her there. "Conall is good at what he does there's no denying that." She admitted. She couldn't deny him a better oppurtunity but he would be hard to replace here. But at least she would still have him as a friend and alpha. She hoped.

Conall was nearly done with his shift. After the brawl that happened earlier there had been very little further trouble. Shame really. That little fight had only just got his blood pumping. Maybe he could fight with Soliel. Wait...why had he thought that? He'd only just met the girl and they weren't exactly best of friends. Perhaps he was just eager for his pack of two to broaden, for it to be more like the old days. They could run and hunt and fight together. Waking up in the morning naked and feeling each others body heat close by. He missed the feeling of awakening each day with his brothers and sisters.
He looked over and saw Joss and Soliel still talking together and made his way over. Joss seemed to be more relaxed around Soliel now, if only by a fraction.

Soliel yawned not from tirdeness but from sheer boredom. Not that she was entirely bored with this place but she was beginning to miss the recording studio in the big old mansion type house she had purchased just outside the city limits. She didn't fancy going back to an empty place so she continued to perch herself on the bar stool.

Soliel smiled at Joss's reply.
"Well, really I'm a musician but I'll take work anywhere I can find it" she paused, "I'll make the deal sweeter for you. I'll work for free"

Soliel didn't want to add that she had so much cash coming out of her ears that there would still be a few cash pots left when she finally shuffled off this mortal coil. But she supposed she would have to if Joss so asked why she would work for free. She shrugged. there's was nothing she could do about it.

Soliel glanced away sensing the approach of the other Alpha. Their beasts were of different flavours and both Alpha's. Sooner or later those beasts would have to see who was better. Soliel wasn't entirely the fighting type but her beast was and that's what she had to keep under control. If it hadn't been for her friend then she would never have ended up in this position.

Joss's head spun with how fast Soleil had turned things around. Going from offering her a job to offering to work for her. "Uh..." Joss stammered. Her eyebrows shot up confused at the work for free.

"Buh.. I... Ohk.. but not for free. I mean you did help break up the fight. Just Ohk erm. Conall uses non violence if he can I expect you too too. But no working for free. I need to put you on the books. Have to at least give you minimum wage." Joss said. Not wanting to get Marcus in trouble for anything. "No err drinking on the job but you get a free drink after your shift and err. Yeah." Joss said still taken off guard.
