Ivita

Waiting on her branch Ivita watched the sky. Guised as a small cat leting her tail sway to and fro, eyes same as ever, large globes of white light, the same shattered glass mouth ginning saditc as ever. A small movement caught her eye, looking down, watching. The edges of her form flickering in anticipation. This town was wholly new to her; thus far she had met no one, eager yet afraid, her past had taught her that a shadow taking any form, other than that of the being they are borne of, is not a very welcome thing. Closing one eye then the other, she yawned, sticking her tongue out in the feline fashion.
Thinking to herself, I beseech thee my dreams, my beautiful lover. Let these wandering eyes see what they wish, where men fly on fish's wings, and women birth light. turning her eyes once again to the sky. Blinking again in this one eyed fashion, perking her ears, listening to the wind sing. Her tail swinging in time with the winds song.
In the wind of September, the cold of November, terror and pain roam free, the oncomings of summer make me feel better, when the one who is killing, is me.

Mordeth Van Alucard
Old Skool
A lone figure walked slowly down one of the many twisting paths of the park, a black top-hat and an umbrella sheltering him from the weak sunlight. A clove cigarette hangs from his mouth, crackling. Mordeth smiles wickedly to himself and takes a deep drag on the clove. Ahhhh, now that's nice, he thinks.
He allows his mismatched eyes to scan the park, no one is about. . .except. . .he thinks he sees something in the nearby tree. Ah, only a cat. . .or is it? Something about the cat throws him off, and he grips his umbrella tighter as he saunters over, casting a quick look through his vast mind for his most powerful spells. With a shark-like grin he looks up at the cat and says, "Well hello there! Beautiful day, isn't it?"

Glancing to the man lazily she cocked her head and blinked again in her bizarre manner. "That it is Sir," Her voice chimed like a birds song, "spare a fag for the kitten, Love?" Grinning now, her tail ceased movement as she leapt down, a streak of being shooting past him to the ground, and once again there sat the cat, now at his feet. Stretching she looked around as the sun rose further into the sky. Mumbling to herself, "I’ve been there longer than I realized...” returnign her gaze to this man infront of her, she blinked again, one eye closing and then opening as the other closes. Stretching, her form flickers slightly, eyeing his cigarette she lets her form blur even more, making her just a blob of shadow now, her eyes and mouth floating around near the top. Finally reconfiguring herself to the shape of a woman, standing at 5'11" a slender being hair the color of her skin stopping at her shoulders, letting her weight rest evenly on her legs, she smiled again with as much sincerity that her teeth would allow. "About that cigarette..."

Mordeth does not seem surprised as the woman changes shape, merely looking her up and down in polite, subtle admiration for her form and figure. He nonchalantly takes a drag on his crackling cigarette and says, "You shouldn't smoke these. . .they are bound to kill you." That being said, he causes one to appear from the breast-pocket of his well-made suit coat, handing it to her while lighting a tarnished zippo. Charms and amulets tinkle and clink on his wrists, and an engraved silver ring encircles each and every one of his fingers. He smiles at the cat/woman and says, "Need a light too darling?"

Giggling like a child at some private thought, while accepting the ciggerette, placing it in her mouth then taking the zippo. Upon hearing the jingle at his wrist, her form flickering, eyes darting to the trinkets on his wrist, forgetting the zippo letting it drop to the gound, ciggerett hanging lax in her mouth, she instantly seized his hand oberserving the trinkets holding his hand still with an almost possesive grip. Her eyes following down his hands to the rings encasing each finger, tracing each one ever so lightly as though it might break at her touch, singling out is left pinky finger. Stealing a peek at his face she grinned mischeviously, prying at the ring she tryed in vain to wrap her shadow like hand around the ring. Eventuly, givving up she returned her gaze to the zippo on the ground straighting herself she flickers again, zippo in hand now she lit her ciggerette. "Thank you...." Keeping her head lowered in a childish manner. "..And sorry, 'bout..."Gesturing to his hand. "That."

The man clears this throat and says, "Yes, well. . .can't say as that has ever happened to me before!" He grins, somehow managing to make that facial expression both benign and predatorial at the same time. He says with a sidelong look at the stranger, "Alas, I have been fondled and do not even know your name. Pray tell, shall I call you Muffin? My grandmother had a cat named Muffin. . .although. . .you DO look far more delicious than any muffin I have encountered."

Flashing her shattered glass grin at him, "You know someone could take that the wrong way, and get awfully offended." waving a finger she bowed letting her eyes fall to his shoes, looking to her own formless feet, bringing her eyes up to his face again she blinked, one eye then the other. Standing she cleared her throat and said matter-of-fact-ly, "I however will look past it this time." her tone lightning, " I'm Ivita, and you would be?" extending her arm, the fingers spread like a childs hand, its form flickering, edges bluring and almost dissapating into the air. Looking down at her hand she shook it in the air for a moment letting it regain form. Making a face at it and growling at it, looking to him again, her face conved a slight nervousness, her voice however was steady. "Pesky forms."

Mordeth smiled back at Ivita and said, "Ivita," as if tasting the word, "Beautiful name. Mine is Mordeth Van Alucard," he bowed, "at your service. I do hope I was not being too forward there. I of course have no intention of eating you." He winked and said, "Without your express permission that is." He examined her flickering form and frowned, saying, "What is wrong with your Change? Perhaps I can help."

Smiling at his response she thought to herself and frowned. "Well I doubt you could stomach me." Cocking her head she looked to her hand and watched it for a moment the edges blurring then forming a single massive claw. "Whats wrong with it? Nothing silly." Shifting it to two small forms dancing she grinned as her form swallowed them. "Nothing at all."
