Islene Lasair
Were-Panther
[size=1]Islene gave a lazy cat-like yawn as she stretched her back straight from over the large box she had just emptied off the tuck. With a grin she looked over her shoulder at the two teen were-panthers she had coaxed into helping her manuever a large antique amoire off the truck. "careful. I wouldn't want anything broken before it's even settled in," she teased as one of the boys almost lost his grip. With a slight blush he mumbled something about 'not upsetting a treasure' and asked where to place it. "The back room. I plan to store my toys in there," she grinned wickedly as they passed and moved into her new home.

It was an unusual word to come from her mouth, yet the spacious, uniquely desgined ranch style house felt just like that. Close enough to the city yet right on the outskirts, and with a backyard that blended into the woods, it felt a great deal more peaceful to her then the small apartment she had been staying in for the past few months since her arrival.
The two boys came bouncing out of the house laughing and tripping ech other, making Islene smile as they approach. "Anything more we can do for you Miss?" the eager blonde lad asked as he rocked on the balls of his feet. "Please, it's Islene. Thanks, but no Keith. You and Eric have done plenty." She gave both boys a kiss on the cheek and chuckled as she picked up the box, balancing it on her hip, and watched a bright blush cross their faces. "My door is always open to the pard if you want."

With that she turned on her heels and headed inside, eager to have her time to settle. After she kicked her sandals off at the door, and sill holding the box, she headed straight past the warm and perfectly open den on her left and headed down the central hall to the back. Vintage band posters hung along the right wall until the hall ended and opened into a combinded kitchen and sitting area in the very rear of the house, as well as connecting with the other hall that ran the entire width of the ranch. To the left lead to a slightly smaller guest bathroom attached also to the den and the door leading to her basement. To the right would lead you to the master bed and bath, her room obviously, an extra room which she had turned into a private study, and a guest bed and bath

Islene though, headed straight, pausing to place the box on a counter and grabbing a bottle of beer out of the kitchen before turning to her right and crossing through the open sitting area, waiting to be filled with actual furniture at some point, which had a rather splendid floor-to-ceiling bay window overlooking the woods in back, thenstepping down a few steps into the zen-like sitting room that also lead out onto the pattio outside. Walking to the glass doors she took a swig of her beer as she looked out to the woods with a content smile.

well maybe you were right
just remember to say your prayers
