"Proto Man, you're here, too? Thank you." The mysterious red robot always had an independent agenda, but for the most part his goals coincided with Megaman's own ever since the red robot with a shield learned about Dr. Wiley's true intentions the third time the gray-haired evil genius had attempted to take over the world. Though the two had fought since then, Proto Man was always up front with his challenges, so Mega Man had little reason to distrust his assistance.

"Where are we, anyway?" The robot asked "These don't look like any living creature I've seen."

He fired his megabuster, prioritizing the ice spirits before they could create some kind of disappearing block related jumping puzzle.

"Not sure where we are, Mega Man," Proto Man replied. "There should be a way out if there was a way in, though."

Proto Man opened fire in tandem with his "younger" brother, peppering the spirits with buster fire. In all, Mega Man dealt 29 damage to the Ice Spirits and 14 to the Light Spirit, while Proto Man dealt 80 damage to the Ice Spirits and 40 damage to the Light Spirit.

Ice Spirit 1: 193/312 HP
Ice Spirit 2: 193/312 HP
Light Spirit: 258/312 HP

MEGA MAN PHASE

(Control of Proto Man is granted to player Rocket.)

Why does this always happen in games I run?

Mega Man activates Rush Assault! Rush combines with Mega Man!

New Stats:
HP: 497
All Other Stats: 146

SHORYUKEN! The Light Spirit took 205 damage!

Proto Man charges...

ENEMY PHASE

Proto Man looks like a very appealing target now. The two Ice Spirits fire off frozen missiles while the Light Spirit rams him. Proto Man suffers 32 damage in total from the Ice Spirits and 13 damage from the Light Spirit.

Mega Man: 497/497 HP, Rush Assault (3 turns)
Proto Man: 278/323 HP
Ice Spirit 1: 193/312 HP
Ice Spirit 2: 193/312 HP
Light Spirit: 53/312 HP

MEGA MAN PHASE

Because we can't have nice things and I want to see how much a difference the stat boost makes in a safe-ish environment.

Megaman fires his megabuster at Ice Spirit 1, Protoman fires his charged buster basic elemental attack thing at Ice Spirit 2

Mega Man's Mega Buster dealt 41 damage to the first Ice Spirit.

Proto Man unleashed a powerful Charge Shot! The second Ice Spirit took 100 damage! The first Ice Spirit took 50 damage! The Light Spirit took 25 damage!

ENEMY PHASE

More of the same. Magic missiles slam into Proto Man for 45 more damage.

Mega Man: 497/497 HP, Rush Assault (2 turns)
Proto Man: 233/323 HP
Ice Spirit 1: 102/312 HP
Ice Spirit 2: 93/312 HP
Light Spirit: 25/312 HP

AUTO-FAST FORWARD

Buster fire flew left, right, and center, and gunned down the spirits with remarkable ease.

The party gained 100 exp!

Up ahead was the source of the giant pillar of light. From there, five other pathways branched out, much like the path Mega Man took to get here.

Mega Man could hear the sounds of battle from the other pathways. If he so chose, he could investigate.

Open Option (of sorts. Pick a battle to crash, or do nothing.)

Megaman frowned as he looked over the five pathways. He had no idea where any of them would lead, but it sounded like others were in trouble. The blue bomber quickly decided that it was his duty to protect whoever these strange spirits had taken it upon them to attack and quickly ran to join into another battle.

(Roll a die to see who gets crashed)
