============ Teams and RPing ============ Written by Brendan Now, if you've already taken a sneak peak at the Character Registration page, you might be wondering why you're required to write up three registrations-- one detailed, the other two sort of basic and to the point. That's because our RPing system is unique; you RP with two other members, whom you've probably never met before. ============ Joining a Duo... ============ When you register, the mod that accepted you will check the "Teams Databse" to see if there is an open slot for you. If so, you will join that team and RP with the person/people already there. Your profile will be made and you'll need to post a link to your journey and profile in your signature. For example, you register and Johnny and Suzie are already RPing. You're placed into their group and you RP with them using yoru 'main' character, the more detailed of the three. You'll just go along with them until you realize you either hate Johnny/Suzie, or one of the two starts acting like a total control freak. But what of your other two characters? Nothing, they're just archived to our Staff folders in case you need to break away from the group you are currently with. ============ Creating a Duo... ============ Now, what happens when there's a group ready but there's only one person? You're placed into the available group, creating a duo, and the two of you will decide who's 'support' character is going to fill the third slot until another person registers. For example, you register the same as Johnny. But no Suzie this time! OH NOEZ! Never fear, you and Johnny will have to discuss who's 'support' character is going to fill the third slot until further notice. Let's say you register with Eliwood as your main and Hector/Lyn as 'support' characters. Johnny registers with Lloyd as his main and Linus/Nino as his support. You will both RP as Eliwood and Lloyd at all times, but can continue to switch the third person between Hector, Lyn, Linus, or Nino during the next ref! ================= Starting your own team... ================= Now, you register... but there's no group to join. Guess what you had to make three characters for? Yep, one as the main, who gets all of the attention, and the two 'support' just for show, at least until another person registers. ============ To break away... ============ If Johnny/Suzie is trying to take control, or they're starting to become kind of jerkish, or one them stops posting all together, post in the "Seperation" topic and post a valid reason as to why you wish to leave that group. If the moderator sees that your reason is good enough to get you removed from the group, then the meanie will be warned and you'll start your own team. If someone seperates from your group and you're not the reason, you'll be asked if you want to seperate, too. If you say yes, then you can form a team with the other leaving member. The trouble-maker will lose their items, if they Keyblade, that will be revoked, and any progress on limits if they had any with you. If you are the trouble-maker, then your team will leave you. You will be warned via Warn Pannel and your items will be removed, your Keyblade (if applicable) will be revoked, and any progress on Limits you had with your team will vanish. So play nice, eh? |
