Limits

Much like in Kingdom Hearts II (don't know if they're in the first game, I haven't played it), Limit Skills make a triumphant return. Of course, they involve more than one member of the team and are insanely powerful. Of course, this doesn't mean it can kill any enemy one hit, but it's enough to wipe out a whole unit of Heartless or Nobodies.

Limit Skills are probably the only skills you can't buy at a Moogle Shop. They must be practiced and mastered by your RPing skills with your team. Of course, there are a few rules to Limits:

1. Practice makes perfect.

Don't think you can master a Trinity Limit in one ref. It takes patience and practice to perfect a Limit, but the results will be well worth the wait.

2. Team cooperation is the key!

Sure, Sora's Trinity Limit can be done alone, but it's not nearly as powerful as when he's with Donald and Goofy. Here, on Kingdom Hearts: Rebirth, you need both team members with you to help you in pulling the limit off. The more detailed all three of you are in practicing the attack, the sooner you'll be able to pull it off.

3. You will be informed of how "complete" you are with the limit.

It's a learning curve, in percent. After the first session, you may be 5% percent of the way done, or you could be 20% of the way done. The max percent in one post you can be is 20, which is the most. The lowest you can go is 1%, but that depends on how descriptive you are or if you're afflicted by a status like Fury or Sadness.

4. All members must have the Limit Skill equipped in order for it to work.

So if you, Johnny, and Suzie all have the finished Limit equipped, then hip-hip-hooray, you can use the attack. But if only you and Johnny have the Limit equipped, then it can't be used, period.

5. You can have limits for only two people.

So you can have a Limit skill with Johnny and a completely different Limit with Suzie. This may seem kind of stupid, but two totally bad-ass Limits that are ultimately epic beyond words for only 6 AP is way better than two Limits that are just as epic for 10 AP. Of course, Two-Person Limit's will be easier to master, seeing as the third person can sit back and watch while guiding the two to work on problem areas.

6. Limits consume the MP of the person with least amount of MP.

That's right! The least! Of course, if there is a tie for the least amount of MP, then the two players must decide OoC {put the person's character's name in braces to decide} in the same post who will be losing their MP.

That's pretty much all there is to it. You may name your Limits, but remember to abide by the rules. Before I forget, all Limit Skills with three people use a minimum of 5 AP. Two people is 3. Limit skills may use more AP, depending on how powerful the attack is. You'll find out once the mod who refs you on the final post on how much AP it is.
