I have almost completed the Profile Nobler built from the wreckage of the first NoblARF. I am now back to work on what I will call the NoblARF #2. I have since acquired yet another "kit" for a third Noblarf. Yes, I like the Nobler, including the NoblARF, despite its weaknesses. If I live long enough, I plan to build a Brodak Nobler kit. I have a Top Flite Green Box Nobler kit in my stash for inspiration.

The NoblARF #2 has been test flown. It needs some tip weight, but flies fairly well as is. It has an OS S35 and a Tornado 11-5 wood prop on it. Second test flight had a first flip start.

Hi Graf
Was running my nobler(metal tank first version) with a stock
OS35S engine on 10x5 n also 10x6 props of different
Brands but only muster enough power to all all manoeuvre. After
Changing to a Brodak 40 and it is a breeze to fly....

Both NoblARF I have had seem to need added tip weight. The first did best with a Rev Up 10-6EW. The second with a Tornado wood 11-5.

The #2 NoblARF is doing well with an XOAR 11-4 prop.

I had to order special glue to reattach the canopy when it came off.

My special steel clunk tank I built for this thing has failed. This the first failure of this type of tank since I started building them several years ago. The clunk is rattling around the inside of the tank. I expect to find that the silicon fuel line has failed. So much for using old tubing.

I finally opened the failed tank. The tubing did fail, but it was new tubing, not old.

I had silicon tubing failed before. Not all silicon tubings are the same. Now I use Sullivan's.

New tank is installed, still didn't run right. Did an engine transplant, sounds good on the ground. Need to test fly it again.

Getting a good setting on the engine is not easy. I need to play with it a little more.
