its our good ole trainer kit, lol. didnt measure the wingspan, but its about 24'' i think. total area about 138 square inches. (2 square inches short?)

its for a profi diesel, though i can put any engine on it as long as it fits. Lol. will maybe run in the fora diesel on this as well.

EDIT:
tried putting the fora in but the exhaust is blocked, so i cant run in with the fora.
now i left doing up the wheels properly, a tail skid and run the engine!

doesn't matter i guess, at least it's close to completion.. and you can start training soon... hahs, my racer is still a wing. :P

Erm, no, its just nice, min area is 130 sq inches right? Are you using this for march?

Ok, if you run the profi, do help me time it, because the previous time i was flying the profi it sounded fierce, but was disappointing in the air... wanted to see if its just this engine...

just did a balsa tank for it, not too sure how it'll work out though. will sand it to shape + fibreglass to make it as fuelproof as possible, incase the inside is not done properly.

joyce please delete your post on the one next to my 1st. tried loading more pics but it doesnt allow more then 10.

ya i realised it is abit close to the exhaust, will sand the fuel tank rounder and maybe add an exhaust deflector. see how things go before i glue it down to the plane.

now my tanks wont fall off anymore B)

change the shape of your tank, you should use a double wedgt design with the front wedge shorter than the rear wedge, and the rear and front of the tank should have a flat piece and not a sharp point .
the front end to the feed tube should be about 70% of the tank .

call me if u dont understand

Given that distance the exhaust will most likely burn a hole on the fuel tank man. Errr did Mr Willie cut the exhaust pipe from the profi that was passed from nevin?
Cheers!

updates!

glued in the tank, sandsealed the plane!

Things left to do,
1. make a tail skid
2. do up the landing gear (currently it is just a collar there for display purposes, :P )
3. run in the engine
4. maiden the plane!

CoG is at around 25~30%C, may be a lil tail heavy!
