What is the best method of sealing the edges on the plastic Monokote clones as supplied on the various ARF's. On the scratch covering jobs, I use StixIt from Sig. That seems to help. |

Hi Everyone, I have use Monokote trim solvent lightly damped on a folded tissue and wipe along the seams. The vapour from the solvent is enough to soften the adhesive. Too much solvent the paint pigment will dissolve! Leave to dry and set for 24 hours and heat seal again. Works well on Monokote. Even the point of the star stayed. Have not tried on Chinakote.
