Newbie Posts: 3 Group: Member Member #102 Joined: April 22, 2008	Have a look in "The News of the World" Sunday 18th May page 10 Jennifer is currently filming, playing a battered pregnet woman in a new film. Not much about the film, only relating to the fact in real life she was beaten by previous boyfriend. By the way has anyone seen "The Cottage" I haven't even seen it advertised at the cinema ???

It was really funny and a bit shocking too with the swearing that was coming out of Jens mouth. I think I'll have to see it again soon. Grant

It doesn't say anything about her playing a pregnant character... The low budget pic will shoot in the Northern UK city of Stoke On Trent this summer. ‘Souled Out’ is a coming of age love story set amidst the Northern Soul movement in 1974. Martin Compston (Sweet Sixteen, Red Road) and Jennifer Ellison (The Phantom of the Opera, Brookside) will play the young lovers, while Shortt plays Irish van delivery driver, Brendan, who becomes the confidant of Composton’s character Joe, and finds himself caught up in a love story of his very own. Huey Morgan of US band The Fun Lovin Criminals will take a role among the film’s supporting cast. Morgan, who featured in Shimmy Marcus’ 2004 directorial debut ‘Headrush’, plays a cockney record shop owner in the film. ‘Souled Out’ is written by Jeff Williams and is produced by Christine Alderson (Bye Bye Blackbird, The Halo Effect) of Ipso Facto Films. In development since 2004, the film was originally scheduled to shoot in Ireland during summer 2006 but financial difficulties caused a halt to pre-production and a subsequent relocation to the UK. The Dap Kings, the backing band of Sharon Jones, will produce the soundtrack and create original music for the film. Jones has worked Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson on past projects. Moviehouse will handle international sales and Soda Pictures has acquired UK distribution.

It was the same with "The Cottage", she got cast in 2004, but didnt start filming until last year. As far as I know, she isnt filming it just yet, I'll keep you updated.

Those pictures arent from "Souled Out", they are from "The Commander" what she is filming at the minute. She is in London today and leaving for spain tommorow. Then she finishes working on it 20th June.
