Jennifer Ellison takes her latest look from Goldilocks

It's not often celebrities look to fairy tale characters for style inspiration.

However Jennifer Ellison seems to have based her latest hairstyle on children's favourite Goldilocks.

The 24-year-old actress showed off her blonde ringlets while out shopping in Liverpool at the weekend.



But while her hair was looking healthy, the same couldn't be said of Ellison's face which appeared red - possibly a result of spending too much time under the sunbed.

She shares her love for curls with fellow Liverpudlians Coleen McLoughlin and Alex Curran, both of whom have even been spotted in public with a head full of rollers.



Ellison appeared to not have a care in the world as she posed for photographs with fans in her home city.

Since coming out of an abusive seven-year relationship with Tony Richardson, the former Brookside star, has been relishing the single life.

"When I was in a relationship I was never chatted up by guys but now all that's changed," Ellison recently said.
