OK, I have decided to sell the car, as I simply want to concentrate on my other hobby. A lot of you will already know the car and what has been done to it, but for those who don't, here's the rundown... The car is a 1997 Nissan Almera GTi Phase 1 in Black. The car has just pushed 77,000 miles and the engine has just pushed over 1500 miles since it was rebuilt. There are no issues with the engine, no misfires, no leaks, no rattles, minimal oil burning. It really is good to go... The dyno is notorious for being very accurate. Given that, some people have stated that it actually under-reads, but never the less at 22 psi, the power figure should roughly be 500 BHP at the flywheel. The car was also the first Almera in the U.K. to break into the 12's, running a best of 12.92 @ 120.6 mph. This was done on street legal tyres at Crail Raceway, so I would expect at least a mid 12 second run if done at a proper track. It has also posted a best terminal speed of 123.3 mph. No expense has been spared and anything ever needing done to the car has been done. As for the condition of the body, the paint is at a standard typical for a car that is approaching 13 years old. There is a small bubble of rust on the o/s/r arch lip, but you only notice it if you go looking for it. Other than that, the condition is good. For those interested, I suggest you take a look at the following thread to see the progress of the car over the last few years... http://www.almeraownersclub.com/threads/28208-The-Sleeper?highlight=crail and for those wishing to view a great number of photos and videos, the following thread is worth a look... http://www.almeraownersclub.com/threads/36756-Crail-Pics-Movies-01-08-10?highlight=crail Price - £5500ono If at all interested, then PM me, or if you have any questions, just ask.
