Before I give up the performance car game for a few years, I have to get something out the way! I've always secretly liked them, and I'm in talks of swapping my gtir for one. This is what I'm talking about. ![]() Its modified, its a 1992 wrx with a 1997 sti engine. Its more practical than the gtir at the moment as I'm using the R for a daily family car, and it just isn't big enough! I will keep you all informed lol |

I like Subaru's, I really do. The only thing that puts me off them is that there's just so many of them about. But they are nice cars. If I was getting one it would have to be a P1 methinks, but that defeats the purpose of you getting one as it only has 2 doors ![]() Don't worry Stu, we won't castrate you for it!

your not on your own stu.. i also realy like them.. 4 doors would help you out.. but keep in mind.. if you do swap.. you will have to pay out more to get yourself another Gti-r due to the price increasing on them.. |

That looked sweet Gerald ![]() Yeah Des, the p1 is sweet! But as you say, I nead 4 doors lol I know Jon, it pains me to jump ship while the gtir is rising in price. I will always want another one, and it might be that when I do decide to have another one, they will be to expensive for me A gtir would always have to be a toy tho. A scooby or evo could work for me as an every day family car. |

At the end of the day you have a family to think about Stu so your priorities are bang on,I have always liked the Subaru and even on the old xbox games I always opted for either the Subaru or the evolution it was just by chance that I bought my R,to be honest Stu at least you are staying with JDM so a big thumbs up from me mate!

Good cars stu but just have to be clever they are not the best built cars in the world. Engines are a dangerous. Sound great nice specs on them. Not sure myself so used to all the ones I ever see are abused and run into the ground. But would be a great middle ground. |
| Oh what are you all lookin at is it the smile on my face or the fact iv just used 20 quid in fuel just to go to the shops! Again! | |

I don't want to buy one Rich, not unless I sell the R first. Mine is up for £3.5k and I don't fancy doing a swap on a scooby that's tatty and been standing for a year. If this swap dosnt happen, I will stick to my plan of sorting my rear arches out and respraying the whole car. It will then sit in my dads garage until prices rise and there's a lift in people buying strong again and it will be out with a fresh mot and tax at a higher price ![]() Thanks for the heads up mate. |
