Apparently Focus Interactive has announced plans to make a Battlefleet Gothic RTS, though I followed the link back to the Focus page and didn't see any news.

If done well, this is certainly something of interest to me. I've wanted to get into BFG, but, given Games Workshop has stopped publishing, and getting into a new war game requires money and convincing others nearby to do the same, it's a bit of a pipe dream :P. I'll be watching for updates!

EDIT
Ah, here we go, the info from Focus.

In Real Life ™, people who aim to maximize their potential for lethality are called "dangerous psychotics" and are typically avoided by everyone who isn't forced to endure their company until someone has the opportunity to put them away or else put them down. No one likes that guy. Don't play that guy.

Oh and to edit your post, getting into a new wargame is expensive. Getting into an out of print and high in demand wargame like BFG is WAY expensive.
