I picked up a copy of Blazing Angels 2 - Secret Missions of WWII for the ol' PS3 the other day. It's an older game, so is priced at old game price :) It's a combat flight simulator based in, yeah, that's right, World War II. You play as an American fighter pilot fighting with the Allies, forming an elite squadron for special missions, before the United States decided to come in and kill steal the war victory. You start out at an air show in modern times to learn to fly, and flashback into the War, then begin following your career building your squadron.

You get to fly in a variety of planes from the WWII era, both Allied and Axis, unlocking more planes and paint jobs as you play. Through good flying and mission success, you gain Prestige Points, which can be used to buy upgrades for your planes, such as greater armour, stronger weapons, better aiming systems, more speed, etc.

The controls are fairly standard, with the throttle and bank controls on the right stick and attitude/rudder control on the left. Enemy targetting is done via the right buttons, wingman control via the D-pad; camera control on the L buttons, and weapons on the Rs. The graphics are nothing special, particularly for a PS3 game, but you don't really notice while you're playing... there's enough to concentrate on trying to succeed that a couple rough pixels don't register.

Given the bargain pricing of the game these days, if you like flight combat sims, you'll have fun with this one.

There is. I'm sure the graphics will take a bit of a hit, though not much of one, and I'm not sure what the controls will be like with the Wiimote. I was thinking about checking it out for Wii, but went PS3 instead.
