In Real Life ™, people who aim to maximize their potential for lethality are called "dangerous psychotics" and are typically avoided by everyone who isn't forced to endure their company until someone has the opportunity to put them away or else put them down. No one likes that guy. Don't play that guy. Donate to Ankhanu Press | |

I think I fall into the group of those that typically like moral absolutes, as it's a nice form of escapism. I play D&D to be a hero, not a philosopher. Only rarely do I like games with moral relativity; I think I'll enjoy how the relativity works within the Changeling game. |

Absolutes make things quite a bit easier, and can definitely make for some fun gaming and good escapism. I think the more morally ambiguous games can be fun, but in a different context... the escapism in these games, I think, tends to be more in a character immersive sense than a problem solving sense; escaping you and what's going on by becoming someone else for a while and really getting to understand them. They're a little more puzzle oriented, I suppose, but the puzzles don't make a particular picture :P |
