I picked up Web of Spiderman for the DS from work; it was on clearance for $20 (the PS2 and PSP versions are also there) the other day and have wasted a little time playing the game, It's a fun little game so far; I'm not very far into it though. You've probably seen the commercials, so I don't really have to go into what it's about, but, at least for the DS, it's pretty much just a side-scroller; run/web around, beat up the bad guys, collect things as you go sort of game... nice and simple. There's not a lot of use of the stylus in the game so far, except when you lose your health. If you have some life orbs, you go to a screen where you collect floating health orbs to regain Spidey's dwindled health, then continue fighting... but when you run out of life orbs, well, you'd better hope you hit a save point recently, as that's where you're going. There's a growing array of symbiote powered enemies roaming around the city as well as various Marvel heroes and villains making appearances. So far I've encountered Black Cat (of course) Nightcrawler and Green Goblin. The box says Wolverine makes and appearance, and I expect to see even more. For $20 it's a pretty nice game. My boss has the PS3 version and recommends it too. |

In Real Life ™, people who aim to maximize their potential for lethality are called "dangerous psychotics" and are typically avoided by everyone who isn't forced to endure their company until someone has the opportunity to put them away or else put them down. No one likes that guy. Don't play that guy. Donate to Ankhanu Press | |
