Hi folks, With the demise of the Hawk of Aghrapur campaign, I might give DMing in these forums another shot. This time a shift away from Conan, and to pure D&D 3.5 edition gaming. Reply here if there is any interest in such an endeavor, as well as any preferences for campaign settings, levels, environmental settings, or specific modules. I'd need a critical mass of at least four players to start one of these campaigns. Cheers, Josh |

I'm interested. I don't really care what it's about, I'll find something to do :) |

In Real Life ™, people who aim to maximize their potential for lethality are called "dangerous psychotics" and are typically avoided by everyone who isn't forced to endure their company until someone has the opportunity to put them away or else put them down. I haven't played D&D in years, I've never played edition 3.5 but recently I've had a real hankering for some D&D. Probably due to playing the Order of the Stick game. If possible I'd like to try a goblin rogue but I understand a character like that won't fit in very well so I'm happy with whatever. |

Goblin rogues are fine, though I generally prefer to DM heroic campaigns. |

Cool there are a number of ways to have an 'evil' hero so it shouldn't be a problem. Besides I wouldn't want to be too evil, just self serving and displaying a unusual readness to kill to solve problems. |

Show yourself out, sir. But yeah, a higher level campaign might be keen. |

I prefer low level campaigns myself but would be up for a high level. I guess we just need a fourth player |

That's fine, I just don't allow the game itself to get bogged down too deeply in intra-party conflict, which evil characters tend to instigate. It's fine as flavour, but not fine as the focus; the focus should be on the adventure itself. The character you're describing seems mostly neutral and/or amoral, which is great, so long as you have some loyalty to the adventuring party in general. I'm up for a higher-level campaign as well. The War of the Lance is creeping upward in levels, so we should do a short one that is really high, as in, 17-20 or so. I'll let you know what will be appropriate when I find a good adventure to use. Cheers! |

Sounds good, amoral but not disloyal. |
