This is a thread that doesn't necessitate a written reply, but please vote.

I'd like to play an RPG. I understand that James' SW game kind of burned folks out on the idea a few months back... but that was a few months back. As such, would anyone like to play something? If so, what would most interest you? If no one's interested (and I have a solid reply to that effect), I'll stop bugging you about it.

Word.
In Real Life ™, people who aim to maximize their potential for lethality are called "dangerous psychotics" and are typically avoided by everyone who isn't forced to endure their company until someone has the opportunity to put them away or else put them down. No one likes that guy. Don't play that guy.

I wouldn't mind running a game of modified character creation Marvel Superheroes (ie scale the creation so it's less random and all players are more balanced).

I was thinking as well, Fridays after Improv are a better choice of night than they were.

DnD seems to be the popular thing.
would people like to get together to play a game? I can DM if need be, though I'd prefer to play.

If someone else would like to volunteer to DM that would be peachy.

Only time I'm busy in the evenings is Friday 6-8 with everyone other than Amy. When is a good time for the rest of you folk?

PS: I'm also open to your game of heroes, Douce, though I think we'd need to acquire more players for it.

More players you think? I would have thought four would be good. Anyway DnD eh?

Well the only good times for me right now seem to be Friday after Improv (and considering it ends at 8 now it seems perfect to me since we've never started before 9 since the early days of WoD) and Saturday evenings, although I'm not keen on committing Saturday evening because then I'll feel guilty everytime I break the commitment. I'm already committed to hang out w/you guys Friday for the most part anyway so it works lol.

No other day is predictable enough to say yes to unless we're starting after 10pm in which case I likely wouldn't be interested nor would anyone else.

So effectively my vote is for Friday.

Cool. After improv would work fine for me.

What I meant by more players was more along the lines of a different group of people, more so than the number. But my impressions are often a little off the mark.

Well, provided I'm feeling OK I would be up for playing most anything. (I just like DnD the best...but I've never played Heros so I may like that even more...who knows!?)

However, if a different group is what you're looking for, I'm not gonna horn in on it.

Was simply saying may be necessary, not desired.

Well leave heroes for now. I know Amy was not fond of the last game, but I was a worse GM then so she might enjoy my style with that game mroe so now, but mayhap not.

I could try and remember my plots for this, if people are interested:

Or I could come up with something new (there was no interest in this in August, I'll understand if there still isn't), or if someone else has an idea, we can run with that too.

Thoughts?
