Least favorite genre: Um, hard to say, I don't think I dislike any genre Anything you’d like to add: I found this site while following a link and it's like I've landed in wonderland ![]() Role-playing Sample: Clara was alone, again. She had woken up to an empty house for the third time this week and it bugged her to the point where she didn't know how much more of this she could take. Don't misunderstand, it wasn't the fact that Dave wasn't there to help with the house work or the fact that she still hadn't had the chance to ask him to do a few Mr. fix it jobs around the place, no it bugged her because the absent of her house mate meant Dave had spent the night drinking again and had yet to return. It was six o' clock. Six o' clock in the morning! and he was still not home. That stupid idiot had done it again. Clara sighed, maybe he had found someone, or maybe, just maybe he had bumped into a friend and gone home with them but she doubted it. Dave wasn't the kind of guy to go home with a random person even if he was brainless from one to many drinks and as for friends, well Dave had lost all of those. Dave had been a very successful businessman. He had started his own company and by the time he was 23 business was booming. He was successful, to successful for his own good. Dave made friends easily when he had money and those people, the ones he had called friends invited him to party after party and eventually it got to the point where he woke up Monday mourning and started planing his weekend. Dave got so caught up with his party life he forgot about his social life and in the end he lost it all. His business went belly up and all his so called friends disappeared faster then they had appeared. That's where Clara came in, the best friend from high school, the person who swore to always be there for him and who always was. Dave called her the day he realized he had nothing left. He had shunned her when he had made those other "friends" but when he needed help he came crawling back and she had taken him back. He needed a place to stay and she gave him a room and helped him rebuild his life as much as she could, why wouldn't she, he was her best friend. Things had gone well the first month.Dave was grateful that he had a place to stay and did little things that made life easier but after a while he started getting depressed used to a life of luxury and forced to share a small house with a child hood friend that he hadn't spoken to since he was in his late teens Dave got lonely fast and so he went out night after night and this week was obviously not an exception and Clara was getting sick of it, she didn't want to but if this kept up she would have to kick him out for her own sake. Clara groaned as her alarm went off for the second time. She rubbed her eyes then let out a small moan of pleasure as she pushed her arms up in the air and arched her back causing the muscles to stretch oh so pleasantly. She pulled her long dark brown hair that usually lay over her well shaped but into a messy bun and pulled her side fringe back with a head band then walked to the bathroom across the hall. She grimmest at herself in the mirror, emerald eyes observing thin lips being pulled up to show clean whit teeth, she hated her thin lips but she would never do anything to change them. Shrugging out of the shirt she had worn the night before and a pair of underwear, she stepped into the shower and turned the cold tap till it was on fill and letting freezing water wake her up properly. Today was gonna be a long day. She pulled her hair lose from it's bun and washed her hair then shaved her legs and pits, hissing as she nicked herself on the ankle. When she was done she stepped out and wrapped a small towel around herself and a second around her hair then walked back to her room. Opening her cupboard and examining the contents she tried to find the right outfit for a day of hell. Clara settled on a pair of dark bell bottom jeans and a white button up top. She dressed up and then applied some light make-up. When Clara looked at herself in the full length mirror she smiled and nodded at herself, satisfied that she looked okay for what the day had in store, an early breakfast with her parents, a visit to her sisters after that and worst of all a trip to the city to catch up with some old friends that she hadn't seen since university and she honestly couldn't remember why she hadn't befriended them in the first place. She sighed, towel drying her hair quickly before pulling it into a high ponytail. Once completely happy Clara left her room, closing the door behind her and grabbed her keys and handbag from the kitchen. Once outside Clara locked the door and climbed into her old beat up car and started it up, she was about to crank the stereo when her phone rang. With what must of been her hundredth sigh for the morning she turned off the ignition and took her phone from her bag. "Hello." she answered irritably. She was silent as she listened to the unknown woman on the other line. Her jaw went slack her mouth hung open with shock by the time the woman was finished talking. "Um, wow, okay thanks, I'm on my way." then she hung up. It was Dave, he had gone to far this time and was in the hospital. Clara slammed her head against the steering wheel and groaned as she ended the call then she lifted her head and called her moms number, she new her parents would be bringing this up for years to come but she would have to deal with that later. Right now all she cared about was her friend that had been hit by a car. Stupid asshole, how many times had she told him to call her to pick him up? How many? She let the phone dial then waited a few rings but soon got inpatient and gave up. Throwing the phone on the seat next to her Clara started up her car again and drove to the hospital. She would kill that bastard! Well she really hopped she would have the chance to 'cause she didn't know what she'd do if the car had done that for her. is this enough? |
There's only one thing better then coming home from a tedious day at school and finding that someone has replied to one of the threads I'm RP in and that's finding MULTIPLE threads to reply to
