Celestine had always put aside the nothing of sex because of how ridiculous it was to ever think he'd be having it. Conversations, though, he couldn't avoid, especially among the rather crude beings he'd come to know in the stretch of his employment. After all, he was sent to find and fed on despair and misery and so he found depraved people with loose tongues. When he was a little less jaded, it used to make him flush fiercely.

"I would offer to help try to find a new vessel for him, but since you've already tried it, I guess that's rather obsolete an idea. I've seen all sorts of things, traveling the way I do. So I suppose I feel for your plight, losing someone who meant so much to you. I helped a woman, not quite human, but not quite a normal spirit either, some time ago. I unfortunately fed on the despair of her brother. He'd been killing young women in a human city and had racked up enough for me to notice. I released my magic and he died as a result. He'd been keeping his sister with him because he was attached to her, and went so far as to kill her lover, a simple wind spirit. She was so grieved to lose them both that she didn't look as though she could go on. It's a sign of that, when people stay around me voluntarily and she barely ever left my side unless I shifted into another side realm away from her. I felt bad, so I found an acquaintance who specialized in speaking with the dead. We found the body of a human man who had mysteriously died only hours before and with the aid of magic and an ancient spell, her lover's soul that was hanging on the edge of the underworld, wanting to be near her, was summoned into the vessel. It was only because they both had the will to do it. Last I heard they'd passed away, but that was ages ago and I'm sure they're together now."

He blinked. "That's a comforting thought, I suppose. After you've lived your life, you two can be reunited."

Celestine was aware of his attachment to Kire, but relationships were foreign to him, and in the back of his mind he still doubted the way that Kire could feel about him. The earring he'd given him was proof that he greatly trusted the other man, but Celestine easily slipped back into a distant role.

But he definitely spotted the scars on Kire's hand and, without really thinking since now he was starting to become aware of how he couldn't hurt Kire, he lightly grabbed the other man's hand by the wrist to keep it steady for the purpose of studying it. Magical burns could be the most difficult to get rid of, and this was proof of his nature. Sad proof, but also admirable.
"It's amazing, how you can cover it like that. It must have been a terrible burn when fresh. If you'd like I could try and help..." Not that he was sure what he could do with scars, but Celestine enjoyed experiments when he wasn't the one under scrutiny and it was intriguing to think about how far his blood could help Kire.

Simon seemed to brood a bit at the thought of being tall. "I wouldn't want to ever leave you behind, though, Mizu." He glanced at Celestine, wondering if he looked anything like his father. Celestine had said that Simon resembled him, but did that mean he'd come to look like him? He wasn't too certain how much he resembled his uncle, but Charles had never noticed and he was the person who'd known Simon the longest so it couldn't be that pronounced.

Rune laughed again at the notion of growing up. "We'll find out how we're all gonna look eventually. I know what my sis wants, but I don't care how tall or big I get. It doesn't change much of anything. I'll still be me...but it would be nice to be able to look down on Vilen. He's been bugging me about how much better a fire spirit he is since the day I started going to classes at the temple."

Urie crossed his arms, he was always unhappy to bring up his lack of talent in performing magic. He thought he'd almost done it once, a long time ago, that he'd managed to get the energies inside of him to look correctly, away from each other so that he could use each one separately but then he'd woken up with a giant headache and a distinctly depressed overall feeling.
"I don't really know any spirits outside of my family and the fire temple, but I'll bet those two have affiliated with all sorts of unique ones. I look at them and can tell they're both exceptions," Urie said, gesturing to Kire and Celestine.

Kire sighs, a smile playing at his pale face as he smiles at Celestine,a strange lost expression playing at his face. " Mikal in life and death has always been different from everyone else I've known," murmurs Kire softly. " His aura was never quite a sustained thing...it flickered alot...like a dying candle..." Kire tilts his head slightly, a strange expression playing on his pale face. " Like those that live on borrowed time...he barely escaped death during the massacre of his family...I sometimes wonder if someone called him back just before he died...he always felt like that...like without the proper care his soul would just depart..." Kire blinks as Celestine takes his hands, blushing a bit as he fidgets, eyes half lidded, wincing at the touch ever so slightly.

" I was unconscious for weeks after it," murmurs Kire softly, a strange expression upon his face as he looks at his hands. " Thankfully my sister Analai is quite well trained in the healing arts...so she was able to minimize the total damge....but...even with her abilities there wasn't much that could be done...they were third degree and damaged nerves and such...they didn't fully heal up until three surgeries and a couple skin grafts later...what nerves weren't damaged are extra sensitive..." Kire sighs, a strange smile playing at his pale lips. " They are a reminder of those I love..." Kire sighs, tilting his head slightly as he leans in slightly closer to Celestine, eyes half lidded. " For those I hold dear to me...my life if forfeit if it will save them..."

" Leave me behind?" murmurs Mizu, giggling as he stretches, hair seeming to dance around his head as he shifts, stretching out on the couch, feet ending up resting in Simon's lap. " So you get slightly taller, no big deal. We can't help how we grow..." Mizu blinks at Rune's words, smiling as he giggles as Gami watches Rune, those red eyes blinking as well. " Well Gami's a bit older then any of us, so he's closer to knowing how he'll look full grown..."

" Hmm, though my hairs starting to change," mumbles Gami, smiling a bit, a shadowed hand raising to play with shadow hidden hair. " I'm going grey in places..." Mizu giggles a Gami pouts as he sighs. " It's not age, it's how genetics play out, just like your red streaks Mizu..."

" Hmm, yes Kire has friends far and wide, may species and circles," murmurs Treasure as he sighs softly. " But that comes with the territory of being a Prince...I have my own share of friends in interesting places and circles, but Kire's reach is much farther. Mizu may not have a circle of people like Kire...but he has managed to make friends with the last Death Spirit in existance so that's something..."

Celestine couldn't imagine keeping scars for someone that he'd wanted to save. "My family is strange persistent in staying safe and alive, but I do admire what you've done." he guessed that since they were a sort of marking with special meaning for Kire, he wouldn't want Celestine to attempt to heal them. Which was a shame, since he wanted to see what he could do to help Kire.

Strange, how he wanted to help Kire even though the other man hadn't done that much for him, on the surface. Mortals tended to favor people depending on their usefulness but to Celestine it was irrelevant how useless or useful Kire was. The mere fact that he was alive and able to live despite being in contact with Celestine was enough.

"I won't attempt to do what I can for them," he finally stated, releasing the other man's hands and letting his own go back to his lap.

"Please don't ever try and forfeit your life to save me, it's really not worth it..." Celestine started. "That's not to say that I find my life worthless, I don't. There are plenty of things I do that I believe benefit people through the removal of particularly chaotic and evil individuals. I'm just saying that I'm deceptively difficult to kill so...if something happens to me then please don't do anything rash. I only say it if you plan on being around me more than a little while. If you're not then please disregard what I've said"

"I don't want to leave you behind in any respect. I hope we can be close even when we're grown," Simon said. The height thing was just a physical matter, but adulthood loomed in his mind. Charles said that it was common for some people to grow apart from childhood friends, not that it happened to everyone. Simon just didn't want him and Mizu to be like that.

"As expected, he has plenty of amazing contacts. I've always wished to extend my network of contacts but if I'm no help to them then they see little point in speaking with me,' Urie said. "I'm apparently quite an adept teacher though, so whenever I am approached it's always about that. My specialties don't extend to what Mizu or Simon would have to know...so instead of a teacher I imagine that they'll need to just find a unique spirit or being to impart more specialized knowledge."

Kire sighs softly, tilting his head a bit, a smile playing at his lips as he just looks at Celestine for a silent moment. " My adopted family is rather persistant at not dying as well...the Tetuin side is at least," murmurs Kire softly, a strange smile playing at his lips as he sighs softly. " I've only had too deal with about 5 funerals in my 500 years of life...I don't remember my birth parents funeral. I do remember my adopted parents funeral...and then of course Mikal's funeral...though I don't think I was quite there mentally..."

Kire sighs softly, a strange expression playing at the demons face, leaning in close to Celestine, fingers still playing with that one strand of the others hair. " Thank you," murmurs Kire softly as he smiles, leaning in close, pressing a kiss to Celestine's cheek as he blushes slightly. Kire smiles at the rest of what Celestine says as he sighs softly, a strange expression on his pale face. " That matters on the situation Celes...I can't promise you anything in that regards..."

" Well I don't plan in us not being close," murmurs Mizu, smiling as he stretches, eyes half lidded as he hums softly. " I hope to be at your side as long as possible Simon..." Mizu smiles, blushing slightly, looking over toward Kire and Celestine as he smiles slightly. " Well Kire seems to be getting more and more into Celestine's personal space...wonder how far he's willing to push this..."

" Hmm, I like speaking with you," murmurs Treasure, smiling toward Urie as he stretches, those fangs visible as he smiles. " And you're quite good company in comparison to everyone else in this room...Kire's not going to speak with me for a week after I used him as a gate...and I doubt the kids much want to speak with me either.,,"

Celestine moved back so far that the back of his head was pressing against the chair when he saw Kire suddenly move closer. He wasn't the type to flush exactly, his skin was rather pale, but his blooflow was somewhat irregular so unless he was feverish his skin didn't flush. But his eyes had a strange effect when he was flustered, the violet would cloud into the blue and brighten, which was a similar thing. They did that now when he saw Kire leaning in for apparently no obvious reason.

"Wh...wh...what are you doing?" he asked, feeling like quite the idiot for stuttering the way that he had.

Celestine nearly vaulted from the chair. He cast his eyes askance, toward the floor as was his habit when he was uncomfortable. Maybe further conversation would get over the awkwardness of the moment.

"Perhaps one day I can speak of it without feeling terribly anxious," Celestine finally said.

"I don't think Celestine's too used to having people close, or so I guess from what he said to use earlier," Simon said. He smiled softly when Mizu moved closer to him again and said that they would stay close.

For Urie, it was a bit of a first to have someone say they preferred to speak to him when far more interesting specimens were nearby. He put on a polite smile and linked his hands behind his back. It gave him the look of an old scholar, or so Raye said sometimes, but politeness was his own general state.
"Likewise. The children are together and they seem happy like that, and I can tell that the other two are quite involved. I'm not sure how, but with the way that one just moved...you'd think no one had ever tried to give him a kiss."

Kire giggles, the demon's own silverish-purple eyes seeming to glow, a smirk playing at those pale lips as he just grins at Celestine's reaction. " Hmm well I was just giving you a kiss on the cheek is all," murmurs Kire, giggling as the demon smirks at Celestine. " It's not like I climbed into your lap and started french kissing you or anything..." Kire shrugs, still sitting on the arm of the chair as he smiles at Celestine. " I know you're not used to any form of affection...but it's rather customary in my realm to kiss someone on the cheek in thanks..."

" Yeah, he most certainly looked like he was about to freak out," murmurs Mizu, grinning as he watches the scene playing out as he shifts, resting his head on Simon's shoulder as he giggles. " Well...I suppose in certain situations Kire'd be the one freaking out...but that comes with past trauma...I can't say I'm comfortable with some aspects of physical contact...but this is comfy..." Mizu smiles, nuzzling against Simon, eyes half lidded as he looks down toward Gami who's traveled to edges of Mizu's enhances shadow, sitting near Rune's feet, looking at the other in wonder. " Rune you seem to have a fan..."

Gami blushes slightly, the death spirit smiling a bit, those red eyes half lidded. " He...hello," murmurs Gami softly, feeling shy. " I...I know you can't really see me here...but well I just wanted to say hello..."

" From my rough understanding...Celestine has a rather toxic aura that makes those that try to get close ill," murmurs Treasure softly, a strange expression on his face. " I would be apat to state that it most likely IS the first time someone's tried to kiss him...so I'm guessing that Kire isn't affected by his aura. Kire's species of demon in general are rather affectionate. If you know them you're often getting rather violent pouncing hugs if they like you enough...they can be a bit scarey in their enthuisism to make everyone feel welcomed...Kire used to be a very enthusiastic hugger...but well...some past events really ruined alot of physical contact for him...if he's comfortable enough he may give you a hug...so there must be something between those two...but it's not grown past a rather shakey crush state I think..."

"I...I think that my father may have given me a few hugs when I was a child...and my mother would pat me on the head...but no one's ever really tried to kiss me before," Celestine said, heart hammering irritatingly in his chest. His eyes were rather wide actually, and the violet was so pronounced over the cool blue that usually swirled about along with it that they seemed small voids of their own.

"It's not that I'm exactly averse to the notion. You just might want to warn me next time. I'm not asking for a written invitation but I don't want to hurt your feelings by reacting the way I usually do."

Simon felt quite bad for Celestine, after all though he wasn't exactly the most adored child on the planet, he'd always been able to go to Charles if he needed affection and a number of the female servants were quite sweet to him. So he wasn't terrified of contact the way that Celestine was and there was nothing in his past that would make him fear due to past trauma as he felt Mizu and Kire probably experienced.

"Well I hope Kire keeps trying. I think Celestine could use affection. They can help keep each other from being so lonely," Simon mused.

Rune had a difficult time seeing Gami initially, but he could see a sort of humanish outline at floor right below the sofa he was seated on. He leaned forward till his face was about a few inches away from where he thought Gami was and he smiled with the same blinding exuberance that he gave everyone.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Rune, but I guess that Urie introduced me earlier. So there was another kid around our age here? I can't say I saw you earlier, but I was thinking about the fire so I think it's forgivable. What kinda spirit are you?" It was nice, getting attention.

"It looks like Rune's managed to make a new friend too. But he does that easily, he's a bit naive and considers absolutely everyone his friend. It's adorable, but it also makes it difficult for him to be around people who find his energetic nature trying."

Urie's politeness persisted as he gave Treasure a curious glance. "So I guess you'll have to stay around this area for a little while considering that being...Kire...probably doesn't have the energy to help you get back. What do you plan on doing with yourself?"

Kire smiles, eyes half lidded as the demon stretches a bit, balancing on the arm of the chair as he looks at Celestine for a silent moment as he breathes out slowly. " You didn't hurt my feelings," murmurs Kire, a strange expression his his pale face, fingers moving once more to play with a strand of Celestine's hair. Kire looks at Celestine's eyes, his own still glowing softly as he breathes out slowly, a symbol slowly appearing on his forehead, a slight smile playing at Kire's lips as he raises his other burn scarred hand to rest lightly on Celestine's shoulder.

" Well then here's a request for you Celes," murmurs Kire, a strange smile playing at his lips as he leans in close to Celestine's ear, the demon smirking as he breathes out slowly, a blush playing at his pale face. " Let me give you the affection you've been so deprived of..."

" Oh you needn't worry about Kire trying," murmurs Mizu, watching out of the corner of one eye as he smiles sligtly. " If anything he's a bit too forward in his desire to give Celestine affection..." Mizu smiles, cuddling close to Simon, humming softly as he giggles softly to himself. " Why do I feel more adult then Celestine in the moment?"

Gami smiles a bit, those red eyes watching Rune, reaching his shadowed hand out in a offer to shake Rune's own. " I'm sorta hard to see," murmurs Gami, blushing as he fidgets slightly. " I'm the last death spirit in existance..."

" Ah, that would be Shinigami of the realm of death," murmurs Treausure, smiling as he looks toward the shadowed figure. " He's a sweet little thing...looks about 15 years old...I'm not certain of his true age...he's quite the anomaly over all...neither of his parents had an affinity for death...as far as I know they were both rather normal spirits of no significant importance..." Treasure blinks at Urie's question as he smile slightly. " Well I'll hang out here and do a normal jump process back once I feel so inclined...I just felt a pull to come here and make certain my dear nephew was safe..."

Celestine felt he could relax a bit now that Kire was sitting back on the arm of his chair and he was pretty much fully visible so Celestine could at least try and prepare himself or something if Kire felt like being affectionate again. He half thought that he was doing it to get a rise out of him, or maybe he just wanted Celestine to feel close to someone.

When Kire whispered the words that he clearly only wanted Celestine to hear, it was almost too much for his somewhat addled mind to take. His eyes widened and he suddenly felt like he was five again and going after the strange cat creature that had only ran because it wanted to preserve its own life, strangely naive and flustered and preoccupied.

"uummm...sorry you seem to continue catching me off balance and I don't even know what to say," he finally managed, and this time a flush did manage to make its way under his skin.

Simon leaned back against Mizu and turned his eyes to the other boy, since he felt that perhaps Celestine and Kier needed a little privacy.
"I think that in emotional matters you might be a little older than him. Even I might..."

Rune reached out and, for about half a second, he managed to make contact with Gami's hand. His own magic sparked in response and he sat back on his heels and giggled, as if it was a delightful game to have his magic react as such.
"That was neat. You must be a really special spirit. Whenever I touch the other fire spirits when we're playing my magic doesn't react at all."

"A death spirit. I've never heard of that. Or not recently. He's quite special then. Rune's powerful for a fire spirit, I think his magic itself is more potent than his sister's but I can tell his temperament won't lead to him being able to take over her position as Hierarch one day...so I think she wants him to tutor under me until he figures out what he wants to do." Urie said. He crossed his arms and leaned as neatly as he could against the wall.

"I can't imagine it, being royalty or extra special like...well all the spirits in this room seem to be," Urie explained.

Kire just grins, eyes half lidded as he tilts his head a bit, pulling back slowly as he plays with that strand of Celestine's hair, a gentle light in his eyes as he reaches out slowly, gently taking Celestine's hand in his own scared one, a strange far off look taking over his face for a moment. " I'm sorry..." murmurs Kire softly, breathing out slowly, that symbol on his forehead flickeringa bit as he winces slightly. " I'm pushing you too quickly..." Kire slowly lets go of Celestine's hand, moving from his perch on the chair arm, a strange far off expression on his pale face, hand rising to touch that symbol on his forehead, wincing once more as he bites his lip to force back a cry of pain, the world blurring before his eyes, stumbling as Treasure blinks, looking toward Kire in worry as Mizu also blinks, confusion on the child's face.

" Kire..." murmurs Mizu softly, worry in his voice, getting ready to move to the elders aid as Kire slowly looks toward Mizu, eyes seeming faded and not with it as Mizu blinks. " Kire..." Mizu slowly moves to his feet, getting ready to move to Kire's side, worry on his pale face. " What's wrong Kire?"

" KIRE!" snaps Treasure as the demon starts falling toward the ground, running forward as he catches the other before he hits the ground, that mark on his forehead glowing bright red as Mizu starts, moving to kneel next to Treasure, Gami being pulled along in the others shadow as Treasure stares down at Kire, the demon's eyes closed, tough his body glowing softly. " What in the hell?"

" He tried to gate jump somewhere," whispers Mizu softly, looking over Kire slightly, confusion on his face. " He'll be okay in a bit, but that just proves how truly delicate his psyche still is..." Mizu looks toward Celestine, a strange expression in the child's eyes for a silent moment. " He may act strong...but he's really a rather delicate being when you get down too it...my advice is too tread very carefully with him Celestine...the circumstances of what we've gone through his much different...I didn't care for the people that did horrible things to me...Madenea was almost like a brother to Kire..."

Gami sighs, looking toward Rune, speaking up a bit as he smiles slightly. " Well I'm the last of the race so I'm not surprised," murmurs Gami softly, a strange expression on his face as he smiles at Rune.
" Well I am rather unique so there's no shock there..."

Celestine wasn't relieved in the sense that he was offended that Kire was getting close to him. It was just that he couldn't possibly change who and what he was, who he had been in such a short span of time. Things died, perished, became ill and immobile when he was nearby. His very existence seemed to threaten the sanctity of all life so it had been his work to try and eradicate presences that were like his own, except mostly intentional on the parts of the men and women, spirits and humans like who chose to bring harm upon others.

He sat up again when Kire moved back and was utterly surprised to see the other man waver and then start to fall, unconscious. He moved from his chair immediately and moved to lean next to Treasure. His eyes took in the crimson sign on Kire's forehead.

He met Mizu's eyes and was quite surprised at the fact that there was no residual fear in the child's gaze as he held it. That was unusual so the child must be very brave or earnest or possibly both. He reached out and lightly traced the sign present on Kire's forehead. His eyes had returned to normal and his expression was fixed, guarded.

"I don't understand. Why would he want to suddenly jump when he didn't have the strength to do so?"

Simon got to his feet and moved to stand beside Celestine.
"You might want to take him into another room to rest. I'll show you where."

"Is he sick?" Rune asked, peering over the end of the couch toward the crowd.

And with that he moved past Urie, who politely held open the door for him, staying silent as the situation had suddenly turned grave. The boy led them up the nearby staircase to the top floor of the building. The room he unlocked with a passcode was quite beautiful in its simplicity. The blue curtains were drawn over the high, ornate windows and there was a simple bed situated in the center of the room, resting atop an oriental-styled, soft rug.

Mizu smiles slightly at Celestine, holding the others gaze, a strange expression on his pale lips before looking away, a sad light in his eyes, looking at Kire. " He...didn't want to break down in front of all of us," murmurs Mizu softly, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he looks at Kire. " That mark only appears when he's feeling either extremely insecure or threatened with death..." Mizu sighs softly, eyes half lidded as he looks at Kire, the mark starting to fade a bit at Celestine's touch as Mizu smiles ever so slightly. " It may sound strange...but unlike alot of beings that can replenish their energy with contact of their strongest element...water for me obviously and shadows for Gami...Kire...thrives on touch..."

Gami sighs softly, a strange expression on his face, blinking at Rune's question as he tilts his head a bit. " More or less," murmurs Gami, a sad light in the death spirit's eyes. " He has been since Mikal's death...it's amazing he's still alive..."

Mizu sighs, hearing Gami's words as he looks straight at Celestine, biting his lip to stop from wincing. The others aura did affect him, but he could push it too the back of his mind for the moment. " I know studies have shown that human babies don't thrive without physical contact," murmurs Mizu softly. " Kire may not be physically ill...but he still is sick at heart...he may seem pushy,,,but it's how he is...just a simple hug does him an amazing amount of good...that is if you can get past his guard and hug him..."

Kire shudders a bit, still unconscious as that mark slowly starts to fade, fingers twitching a bit, a soft scared sound escaping his lips as Treasure sighs softly, looking at Celestine for a silent moment.
" He's a piece of work...but if you can get past...well his past...he really is a sweet man," murmurs Treasure as Mizu nods gently, moving to follow after Simon as Gami pouts as he's pulled away from his new friend.

Celestine's hand moved back when he touched Kire's forehead and saw that the strange red marking that apparently meant he was distressed started to fade somewhat.

"So you mean he inadvertently internalizes the energy he gets from people he approves of...and that helps to restore the flow of his energy? Well then I suppose it makes sense, what my mother said." It would be useless if his aura and other parts of Celestine's self didn't help to strengthen his body and magic.

"I'll do my best," was all Celestine said in response to Mizu and Treasure's words. What he wanted to do he certainly couldn't with the children around, or at least so close. He didn't want to risk something terrible happening again the way it had with Simon without his knowledge.

Celestine sighed and he pulled off what seemed a mostly unremarkable bracelet that was hidden under his undershirt's cuff. It was brown and made of rather old looking leather, but it was rather deceptive in nature. He fixed it around Kire's wrist and then pulled the other man's arm around his shoulder before getting to his feet. It was a charm that he'd made with wind magic that made the wearer feather-light. He activated it with a thought and followed Simon to the room in question.

Celestine laid Kire out on the bed and sat on the end beside him. He drew his knife out from its sheath, hidden under his jacket and he glanced toward Simon.

"You've just gotten over an infection and curse of my blood so you should go back to the other room for the time being."

The boy hesitated, right beside the door, but he nodded as Celestine seemed to have a rather distant look in his eyes. He grabbed Mizu's hand and led him out of the room.

"I don't know what he's going to do, but we should leave them alone, I'd think."

And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't;
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road.
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope;
It's a shot in the dark aimed right at my throat.

" More or less," murmurs Mizu softly, a strange expression on the childs face as he sighs softly, breathing out slowly as he tilts his head slightly. " Though he has told me even inadvertant touch can sometimes give him energy mattering on what state he's in..." Mizu sighs, a strange expression on his pale face. " While he was in a daze after Mikal's death I know he was fainting alot from lack of energy...his sister literally dragged him to othe hospital for a full physical just so he could have some sort of physical contact to help replenish himself..."

Treasure sighs, the kappa's eyes half lidded as he smiles slightly, a strange smile on his face. " I trust you will," murmurs Treasure softly as he tilts his head a bit in thought. " He'll may...be rather out of it once he comes too..."

Kire's fingers just twitch, a painful expression playing across his face as he seems to be in the throws of some sort of nightmare or memory.

Mizu sighs as they reach the room, taking Simon's hand gently as he smiles at Celestine, a strange expression on his face, a strange look in his eyes. " He...likes when people touch his hair...and even though I've seen him wince like hell when people do it...he likes when people touch his hands...," murmurs Mizu softly, before moving to head back toward the room, pulling Simon along with him as he sighs softly to himself.

Celestine waited until Mizu and Simon had gone before he leaned back against the bed slightly, pulling at his bangs inadvertently with his fingers, letting the silky yet messy hair fall over his face as he thought. Someone whose energies thrived on touch would be the one sort of person who would finally benefit from his magic. He sat a moment, wondering what exactly he thought he was expecting, should he ever find someone who wanted and who could physically stand to be around him. Touch, oddly enough, never really entered his mind.

But he felt he had to do something. Celestine couldn't just continue on his way with Kire suffering when there was something he could do about it. The being unsheathed his crimson knife and positioned himself more fully on the bed. He held the blade of the weapon with his right hand and squeezed it, cutting his palm lightly. His eyes turned bluer as a reaction to pain. No matter how much he did it, he always hated the stinging initial contact. His mother had given him the knife, back when he was just starting out. It was capable of cutting his skin without causing him much pain, and the wounds he made with his own knife had a tendency to heal faster.

Celestine gently took one of Kire's hands in both of his own and let his blood stain the other man's palm before he pulled the back of his hand so that it rested lightly against his forehead. He said a few words, inaudible even if someone else were in the room and a soft, whitish glow emanated from the point of contact between them.

In this manner he transferred his energy into Kire. It took a few short minutes, just enough till he felt a bit dizzy before he pulled his knee up to rest his head against it, but he still held Kire's hand while waited for the room to stop spinning and for the other man to awaken.

"It must have been terrible, what happened to him. It's so sad," Simon started, allowing himself to be pulled along by Mizu. "All the spirits I've been meeting seem to have unhappy pasts..."
