Name: Daisuke Travis Preferred name: Daisuke or Travis, whichever you prefer. Age: I'm not vane, I'm 23. Gender: Male. Orientation: Gay or bi, depending. I'm interested in whoever I happen to be interested in, whether they be a man or woman. Years Role-Playing: Umm... Lessee, I first started rping on a site called... Lemme find it in my bookmarks. Here it is. Yu Yu Hakusho RPG site. I started rping on this site around 2007 I think... So I've been rping for about 2 years now, give or take a few months. Favorite Genre: Seriously? SCIENCE FICTION. Science fiction genre's are my life, whether old-style books such as Rama, comedies like Hitchhiker's Guide, to the Bolo series (The bolo series is my bible!), Gundam, DBZ... Or is Dragonball Z more of an action genre? Lessee... Fantasy is also good, from good old sorcery and magic, to Xanth, Final Fantasy and the Tales of series. Then there's the Temeraire series featuring the dragon Temeraire by Naomi Novik, the Freedom's challenge series by Anne McCaffrey. I've heard good things about the Dragons of Pern series by McCarrfey as well, though I haven't read that series yet myself. Hmm... Too many good books to name off the top of my head... Guess I'll go back into genres. I also like normal, everyday rpes. Such as normal life sort of rpes, with little twists in them as well. I'm into brother/brother rpes, student/teacher topics as well. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to rping, though too much bloodshed turns me off.. Least Favorite Genres: Umm... Not sure? Mainly my dislikes involve music such as Country. Other than too much bloodshed, I'm not too picky about my topics, so long as the topic doesn't get too quickly into the sex action too quickly. Sample Post: For about an hour now, Erik had been sitting in his cab, waiting for his client to walk out. Sitting for so long would normally aggravate a taxi driver waiting to earn their paycheck, but Erik was patient. You had to be in this business, otherwise you'd never get a paycheck in the first place. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to be anyway. Brown eyes flickering over to side-view mirror on the right side of his car, Erik watched the doors to the county courthouse carefully, watching for the rush of people flooding out and to those doors to commence. For there was a very publicized case going on about now, and the person he was to escort safely would be coming out of those doors, though all the paparazzi and police escort. Sitting in his taxi cab, a Mercedez Benz, Erik was used to having very picky clients, and he made sure to cater to their needs if he could do so professionally. He'd earned quite a bit of money escorting the rich, famous, and powerful clients, which is why he owned the Mercedes as his cab. What better way to chauffeur your passengers than in a Mercedes? Link to Mercedes. Chuckling quietly to himself, Erik adjusted the rear-view mirror to look at himself in the reflection. Wearing a black chapeau which was styled after many stereotypical french hats, the hat only covered the top of his head, allowing his dark brown hair to flow easily in the breeze, if there was a breeze. He kept his hair cropped short, more for preference than for looks, though he admitted to himself again at how good he looked in short hair. His skin was also without any blemishes, his white skin perfectly tanned from sunlight, which was natural for him, since he didn't go to beauty parlors for such things. Why spend $500 on a tan that you could spend a few hours at most gaining from the beach? His uniform was also impeccably well kept, even after sitting in his seat for almost 2 hours now, there was nary a wrinkle on his suit, except where he sat of course. A clean, businesslike suit that he'd had tailored perfectly, to accentuate his slight, but well-formed body, without giving any ideas to someone looking at his suit. The suit itself was from a high-end company called eh... Erik rolled his head to the head slightly, not being able to remember the exact company he'd bought the suit from, but it was a very expensive, and durable suit jacket. A double-breasted jacket that showed a nice V for his tie and white, long business shirt. The tie was the only moderately priced item, being about $70. He could have bought the tie, also black, for around $200, but the only difference between that tie and the one he wears now is the store he'd have bought them from, rather than the company that made the tie. The white shirt, what little of it that can be seen, has a slight frill at the cuffs at his wrists, creating a nice elegant look to his ensemble. He also wore white, sequined gloves, far different from the ones that Micheal Jackson wore, these being for driving rather than for a music show, so the gloves are much more durable, and warm than normal gloves. While he waited, Erik kept his radio tuned to the classical stations, currently listening to a piece of Beethoven, and a she listened he guessed it to be Beethoven, and probably the 7th piece of of symphony from that particular set of music that he'd made. Sure enough, when the piece ended, the announcer for the radio station announced that it was indeed Beethoven, from the piece he'd guessed, not that the station gave out prizes for such guesses. Not that it mattered to Erik either whether the station gave out prizes, since he made more money in a few hours than most earned in 2 years. Link to Beethoven's 7th Karajan. Listening to the station for a few minutes more, Eric looked at his watch, a Skagen, and looks at the door to the Courthouse, and he notices an abrupt influx of security guards and police within the doors. He turns the engines on, a slight purr permeating the Mercedes, indicating that the vehicle was in perfect condition as always. Once again, Erik re-aligned the rear-view mirror, placing it back into it's proper spot for him to look behind him, while looking out for anyone that might also be watching the courthouse doors, like he was. The person about to step out had made a multitude of enemies, and Erik had already spotted a few government agents keeping a lookout, as well as a few other not so government lookouts that also watched the doors. Shrugging, Erik takes one last look at the traffic going past the courthouse, thankful that the police had cleared the area for a good 20 miles of the courthouse of any and all civilian traffic. Which of course meant that if Erik had to perform some rather creative maneuvers while driving, he'd not be fighting with traffic to do so. Seeing as how he regularly transported clients that were wanted dead or alive in some form or another, Erik had asked for his car windows to be made bullet-proofed, as well as armored enough to stop most forms of civilian firearms. While his vehicle couldn't stop a round from an AK-47, it could stop anything that happened to be a sub-machine gun round or less, which is generally what he faced when transporting his clients. He'd also of course had a panel of bulletproof glass emplaced between him and the passenger seats behind him, in case he needed to transport a criminal. He saw the doors opening, but at his vantage point, some 20 feet from the doors and 5 feet below the level of the courthouse doors, Erik couldn't see the face of his new client, not through the wall of policemen, guards, and what few cameramen that had been allowed to broadcast the case within the Courthouse. Knowing he'd not see the clients face until after they entered the vehicle, Erik keyed the ignition once more, making sure the car was ready to move quickly if needed, and blinked his brake lights twice, signaling that he was ready to begin escorting the client. The policemen, seeing his lights flash, immediately began moving en masse towards his vehicle, being careful to shield the person they were escorting from every angle they could. Which was, of course, when things started to go wrong, as a gunshot was heard, and a policeman toppled over, dead. Quickly Erik opened the back-right door to his Mercedes, and his new client was hurriedly pushed into the awaiting seat before someone else could try to assassinate him. Pressing the same button to close the door as to open it, Erik heard a momentary outcry from the police and government agents, and he drove off as quickly as he could without running anyone over. He heard a slight bit of static over from a speaker next to him, and without taking an eye from the road in front of him, "Roger that, Escort number T-061 has received the package, and is making way to the rendezvous point. Over." Static was heard for only a second more, before a voice spoke. "Roger T-061, move to secondary rendezvous, at Bravo junction at your discretion. The package takes priority. Out." Erik set the speaker down, minding his surrounding for a few more blocks, making twists and turns to throw any pursuers off of his tail, all the while neither he nor his new client could feel any movement as Erik moved through the area. Fortunately, he'd planned his own escape routes in case the original escape routes were somehow leaked to the wrong hands. Once he saw the ominous point of a sniper rifle covering a nearby street, Erik turned onto that street, knowing that it would be safe for the two of them. Only then did Erik turn on the speaker system to the passenger section of his cab, and looked to see who his newest client was. "Must be nice to be the target of so many people. I don't know whether to congratulate you or to wish you luck for angering so many people, but you've got my respect." Erik made a salute to his client, obviously not the kind of salute that a soldier would've been trained to render, but a salute nonetheless. "So, are you allowed to tell me how you've managed to upset so many people, or do I 'not need to know'." |

**Accepted** Welcome to High Voltage. ^__^ I’ll tell you the same that I told Kusai, keep up with the literacy and nothing will happen. Of course, all posts are not expected to be marathons like this one. Still, don’t fall back on what was produced on SBY. Strive to produce the best that you possibly can. That way, in ten years, if you come back to this site for nostalgic purposes, you can be proud of what you’ve written. ^___^ |
