1. Batman Begins: Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Mr Zsas (cameo), Carmine Falcone
TDK: Joker, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Sal Maroni
TDKR: Catwoman, Bane... yeah I'm not seeing your problem, Selina will be the new love-interest and is more gray area than villain anyway.

2. Over a year ago, No Joker, No Footage. Final Destination.

Going back and watching Burton's Batman films, I found so many inconsistencies with what I knew about the Batman universe. For one, BATMAN DOESN'T KILL PEOPLE.

Thing is thought Burton (great director) was the first to take on the project for the first and second Batman movies, can't see any inconsistencies only because Burton had, as in all the Batman movies the greatest bob kane as a advisor. So how could there be any inconsistencies please explain? As for the killing its a action movie, and he drop jack napier in the vate of chemicals for revenge of his parents, hell I would have done the same LOL.

Probably wrong that I said "so many", maybe just a few. That's not to say my Batman knowledge is correct either. Mainly just pieced together from a whole bunch of different sources, which probably isn't the best.

Then again, maybe what I found lacking in Burton's films was that they couldn't do as much technologically back then.

Also, not sure if I remember correctly, but doesn't he find out Jack Napier killed his parents a while after he drops him into the chemical vat?

That's what I find so great about Burton and the Batman movies he directed, having hardly no technology back then he still found the right mood and feel for the movies. But see I'm a massive Tim Burton fan and i think if he did the rest if the Batman movies.....the world would be a better place lol.

I think Batman new at the start that napier was the one who killed his parents, I sure found out later that napier was the joker. As at the the church scene towards the end he tells joker/napier "you (as in joker) made me first.

Thing is thought Burton (great director)
Stopped here.

Burton is less interested in portraying a faithful adaptation of the source material, and more interested in I'M SO GOTH bullshit.

- Joker killing Batman's parents is pretty much unforgivable
- Jesus christ, that Penguin. Seriously, what the fuck.
- Nicholson playing Nicholson is clown make-up
- Batman consciously murdering people

Nolan presents a mature, flawed Batman who sticks pretty close to what batman is and at the same time he's able to craft his own take on the character, dropping much of the more extreme abilities of the character. Deviations are natural within the film universe and are not complete perversions of the character.

I will admit that Batman Returns was entertaining, but Batman 89 was a steaming pile.

Did you see what he was going to do to poor Superman? Nicolas Cage in the suit equivalent of a rave party. How he keeps getting work is beyond me. I mean sure, his earlier stuff is great, but he hasn't had one single original idea in over 10 years.

Batman didn't know Jack Nicholson killed his folks, he fell into the vat.

But he beat me here before I could post it :D

I can understand why people enjoy old Burton, but these days he's just repeating the same movie over and over.

Even though I don't like it, Batman 89 was a huge step forward for comic book movies.

Warner Bros. has officially announced that long-rumored cast members Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard are indeed in The Dark Knight Rises and revealed who they are playing. And it's not who you think.

The studio said "Cotillard will appear as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham. Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon."

Since we know a young Ra's Al Ghul will be in the movie (played by Josh Pence) and that rumors have swirled for months that Cotillard would play Talia Al Ghul, could "Miranda Tate" simply be her own form of "theatricality and deception" a la her dad's alias of Henri Ducard? We shall see.

Alas, Gordon-Levitt isn't playing Alberto Falcone, Riddler, Robin or any of the other existing DC characters that have been rumored. Most likely, Blake is an amalgam of a number of GCPD cops from the comics who have served in the Major Crimes Unit.

TDKR reunites Cotillard and Gordon-Levitt with their Inception director, Christopher Nolan.

The director said in a press statement, "When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again."

Christian Bale returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman with Anne Hathaway cast as Selina Kyle and Tom Hardy as Bane.

UPDATED: Badass Digest claims their sources had previously informed them that Gordon-Levitt's character is "someone sowing chaos in Gotham at the start of the film." Is that who Blake is? If so, he sounds something like Detective Max Cort, a rogue cop on Jim Gordon's Batman-hunting GCPD task force who becomes a masked vigilante himself in the "Prey" storyline by Doug Moench.
