Not a physical comic, but easily the best web-comic ever!

What better place to start than the first one?

More Achewood, one of my favourites.

finally finished the HUSH story line last night (Batman). Unreal stuff.
And so far iv read the first 2 issues of Arkham City and it isnt too bad. If the game doesnt go into explaining the origins of the gotham segragation then this will strengthen the games story line.

Brian Azzarello's Joker graphic novel is really awesome. I love the art by Lee Bermejo.

I may not own many, but this one happens to be really good. Recommended by one of the staff at Comics Etc. in Brisbane.

Remove Hush and add in "Arkham Asylum", the art alone is worth the price of admission.

I had massive buyer's remorse after buying Hush

Well I liked Hush, though it was the first graphic novel I ever read so that may my opinion.

After a little research, I have seen mixed opinions about Hush. I'll probably give it a go, but after the others.

How can you say that! Hush was unreal. And the final volume had one of the best covers iv ever seen. The modern art style was excellent!

I would highly recommend Batman: Year one. Its look into commissioner gordon is really deep and entertaining. On the top of my list mostly.
Arkham asylum is good, but you would be hard pressed to 'read' it again. You more experience it. Some of the content is really dark and characteris's the joker quiet well.
If you after a collab of stories by the best of what the industry has to offer then try Batman: Black and white. Its a 3 volume collection of small batman stories. All done by different people
with different levels of story maturity and art styles. There are some really memorable ones in that; one in particular about a cat. :(
The killing joke is good, not my fav, and at the end you get the story Moore and Bolland wrote for the black and white series :)

But overall read hush! Its on alot of top 10 alltime fav lists of fans and was written back in the early issue 600's. + has a catwoman and poison izy fight.

.....also lookout for the continuing 'gotham city sirens' Catwoman, poison izy and my fan - harley quinn :3

Hush was good the first time you read it. Unfortunately I bought it after I read it, made it halfway through the first TPB before buyer's remorse set in. Only good thing about it was finding out who the pulling the strings in the end.

Also, Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader is a fun read.

You could try Batman: Black and White and Batman: The Man Who Laughs (the first meeting of Joker and Batman).

iv never read "whatever happened to the caped crusader". Been wanting to get it.
My younger cousin got a copy of HUSH for her birthday. No sure what edition it was, but it was all in black and white (still the hush story just without colours). Seems like something I need :)

Anyone looking to purchase batman comic trade paperbacks or HCs... Check out the bookdepository.co.uk.
Very good prices and free delivery on everything. They sell everything for up to half price all year round. Best way to get more into your collection.

I got a copy of the star wars art book that came out late last year off of them for about $30. Retail here was around $70. Excellent site.
