Robin Hood: Men in Tights had some good moments in it.
Spaceballs.

Anything by Mel Brooks is pretty much gold.

Men in tights was one movie I watched a lot, loved that too. They don't make spoof movies like they used to in my opinion.

I heard it was meant to be a fun action movie.

I saw Scott Pilgram. I will marry Mary Elizabeth Winstead someday.

The last 1/4 of the movie is, the rest is shit.

I should have gone and seen Scott Pilgrim instead

I saw the Expendables last night. It's not the greatest movie. but if you want a popcorn action flick where you put your brain into netural and sit back, its a good ride. Yes there are huge holes in the hardly there plot, but what 80's action flick had plots that made sense. The CG work is a bit woeful at times but there are some stand out scenes that have to be seen. All I'll say is wow... shotgun for the win

I loved it, there are no good reasons to but I will be owning this on Blu ray when it comes out.

My issue with it was that the tacked on plot in these movies is usually there to justify violence and considering the film did nothing but dwell on this horrid story and drags its ass along for an hour and a half until they realise people paid to see it for the action scenes at which point the gore and action ramps up nicely.

Statham really saved this (as much it could be saved).

About half of the movie serves absolutely no purpose at all, especially Mickey Rouke and his scenes with Stallone which about to "blah blah blah" WHO GIVES A FUCK.

They have all these awesome actors doing cameos and they do absolutely nothing with them. Arnie's not-really-arnie cameo in Terminator 4 was 100x better... in fact, as far as not all there plots and good action sequences go, i'd go T4 over this anyday.

I think the idea of how awesome this movie could be blinded me to the fact that Stallone was heavily involved and as such would be terrible.

Positives:
- Holy shitballs! dat shotgun!
- Bullets blow up buildings
- Glorious gore
- Schwarzenegger in a movie for realz
- Willis, Lundgren, Statham
- Wonderfully bad CG
- Stallone running
- Eric Roberts as the stereotypical 80s villain.

Negative
- Anything good mentioned above mostly takes place in the last quarter of the film
- Holy shit, that fucking dialogue. Bad dialogue in these films is usually a good thing but goddamn, i think Stallone might actually be retarded.
- Stallone
- Stallone completely forgetting the rest of the cast, including Jet Li, the dude who uses the awesome shotgun and some guy with cauliflower ears who fights Stone Cold at the end and who we couldn't give a shit about. Seriously the only scene he gets before his showdown with Stone Cold (which is about an hour later) is about his cauliflower ears.
- No one-liners
- What should be played as awesome cheesey crap is instead an hour and a half of SRS BUSINESS

Day 1: Writing the Expendables.
Co-writer: OK Mr Stallone, we have a basic idea of the plot, now all we need to do is fill it in with dialogue, and just basically map out the sequence of events. Now, why don't you get started while a repeatedly beat you over the head with the piece of 2x4 that I found outside next to the dumpster.
