I don't know how folks could have enjoyed Mass Effect 2's mining sections. They were the epitome of tedium, asking me to spend precious resources to make said tedium faster was damn frustrating. Good thing BioWare told Videogamer it's coming back in Mass Effect 3. Wait a second...

When lead producer Casey Hudson was asked about ditching mining for Mass Effect 3...

"No," said Hudson. "Again, when you look at the feedback, there are things that people liked about it, and functionally it serves a purpose. I don't think there's a problem with any of those. I think it's the way people relied on it, and the way we relied on it maybe too much in parts of the story. And also just when you think about the speed of it."

Time to bury my head in the sand and scream.

Wow, it really wasn't that bad, just a bit on the monotonous side.

I agree with Blacky, a little tedious when you were grinding for massive amounts of minerals, but the minigame wasn't broken or anything.

Nah wasnt game ruining. But no one except wow fages like grinding. Having Casey Hudson say they're bringing it back cos ppl like it, is bullshit.
Luckily u didnt have to do too much of it in the 2nd
