Comic book fans have hundreds of different Batman figures to choose from, but few are as cool as DC Direct's upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum sculpt. The coloring difference between his cape and mask are a bit odd, but the look on his face is priceless. It either says "I'm a serious ass-kicker" or "Holy button mashing, some of these challenge maps are a pain in the ass." In addition to Batman, this series offers Scarecrow (who unfortunately isn't 100-feet tall), Harley Quinn, and The Joker with bonus figure Scarface. This series is still a long ways off, tentatively scheduled to street on January 12, 2011. Here's hoping DC Direct is already hard at work on a second series. I don't think I'm the only person out there who wants to see Arkham Asylum's rendition of Killer Croc immortalized in plastic.
