^ Depends on what you like,

Matthew Reilly if you like non stop action, the Scarecrow series is good so is the Jack west series. His books are like michael bay movies only good.

Clive Cussler is also my other fav author would recommend his books too. Bit heavier reading than Matt Reilly but very good.

@skitzo yes the lord of the rings is worth the read. It is the sequel to the hobbit basicly.

Must read books:
House of Leaves - Mark Z Danielewki
American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis
Survivor - Chuck Palahniuk

All 3 kick ass.

If you live in Queensland you'd have to order American Psycho online, as its banned from sale here. House of Leaves gets pretty damn expensive in amounts upwards of $80, I managed to score a full colour deluxe edition for $50.

HoL is a intense experience though, it gets pretty indepth in some parts regarding history and different theories which might seem irrelevant.. it isn't as it just adds to the fucked up claustrophobic atmosphere the book creates.

Currently reading: nothing, though I'm supposed to be reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson.

Just recently read Ninety Eighty-Four, which I found fantastic.

Just bothered to start reading Devil May Care, a James Bond novel.

Fuck, race you to the finish?

Skitz, if you have to order it, its 100% worth it. Have you seen the film? Christian Bale fucking owns in his role as Patrick Bateman (you know, before he got huge and stopped trying... also watch The Machinist).

I saw the film before I read the book and while the film is fantastic, the book is 10x better. mmmmm its so minty.

My bf said if I read mass effect books, he would stop bugging me to play the games. I am reading revelation and so far, the writing style isn't to my taste but I have been told it gets better.
