Is it just me, or has politics become like a common social system under the influence of cult-like behavior? There is a clear correlation between the democratic party presently and say... a pseudo-religious cult built around the denial of basic and obvious truths. It would almost appear as if some sort of clever ruse was played on true blue democrats by wannabe facists to imitate marxists (communists) in order to control the opposition. Fascists are always roadblocked by idealists. The most threatening idealism is that of freedom. Freedom can obviously be misinterpreted to mean anarchy. And it is not thought of thusly but those who choose to engage in communist communities are merely demonstrating their freedom to do so. So while the communists who desire to see the democratic party become more communistic bow to facism, any real semblance of communistic living is sacrificed. If any leftist thinks that starting a war with Russia is the act of a marxist they should spend some more time in the library. Obama cannot truly be accused of communism. He does not act like a marxist. Any real democrat would have had the troops home and wars done by now. Granted the republican party has become a shell of an imitation of itself a thousand times over, but the democratic party does not exist anymore. Even after calling overegulation freedom (as bad as calling anarchy liberty) the democratic party, originally slave owners and totally against freedom cannot succeed in even appearing to progress toward the liberal ideals it strives to. You can't use fascism to achieve communism. This should be obvious to any educated liberal. And true communism can't actually include any government or authority. Marx incorporated many political theories into a random communal system used by cultures (tribes) before the concept of government. Government is supposed to at the very least be objective legislatively and judicially. Government should not be enforcing particular morals anywhere within the society it serves. The separation of church and state also includes institutions. So even those who whish to remove religious moral doctrine have no authority to do so from within the government. But what i'm really getting at here is the glassy-eyed denial that you get when you ask a democrat a real question about obama. I don't need any one example, one could point out a thousand examples of dishonesty displayed by obama. Even if you believed in this campaign for hope earlier, you can't possibly think that you are suceeding as a democratic party if todays obama is what you have. Republicans gave up on bush in a few years because he was obviously not intelligent and was basically the same as a make- a-wish kid playing president for the day. It became clear in bush's second term that there was no longer a republican party but a neo-conservative cabal of corporatists. It has got to be becoming obvious to the democrats that you have allowed an outright fascist to pose as a communist while hinting at being a muslim anarchist and literally steal trillions of dollars directly into the pockets of the same corporatists who pose as neo-cons every time a republican is in office, you must re- strategize. Obama is, plain and simple, the spokesman for a small group of corporations who produce everything you waste money on. If you are not wasting enough money then this group of corporations raises the prices of the money you spend that is not wasted. Ultimitely this seems to be a fascist strategy to appear to be draining a society of wealth in preparation for some communist overthrow, while actually stealing the wealth (becuase money does not disapear at any point) of the country by taking advantage of any communist sentiment. Its a good srategy in the short term, but will probably end up a half-baked utopia and re- enforce the unbelievably well-written Constitution of the United States of the northern continent America. The only form of government which is governed by the people. A leader who is antagonistic to those he claims to serve is a bad leader. Moralization is the new democratic mantra. Like any cult, religious or otherwise the leader has evoked such loyalty somehow that those who follow him must be devoid of common sense. I am sad to have to say that we are seeing the same psy-tactics from obama and the few loyalist he still has left now that we saw from people like http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/spycatcher/201208/dangerous- cult-leaders Here are the typical traits of the pathological cult leader (from Narcissists Among Us) you should watch for and which shout caution, get away, run, or avoid if possible: He has a grandiose idea of who he is and what he can achieve. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, or brilliance. Demands blind unquestioned obedience. Requires excessive admiration from followers and outsiders. Has a sense of entitlement - expecting to be treated special at all times. Is exploitative of others by asking for their money or that of relatives putting others at financial risk. Is arrogant and haughty in his behavior or attitude. Has an exaggerated sense of power (entitlement) that allows him to bend rules and break laws. Takes sexual advantage of members of his sect or cult. Sex is a requirement with adults and sub adults as part of a ritual or rite. Is hypersensitive to how he is seen or perceived by others. Publicly devalues others as being inferior, incapable, or not worthy. Makes members confess their sins or faults publicly subjecting them to ridicule or humiliation while revealing exploitable weaknesses of the penitent. Has ignored the needs of others, including: biological, physical, emotional, and financial needs. Is frequently boastful of accomplishments. Needs to be the center of attention and does things to distract others to insure that he or she is being noticed by arriving late, using exotic clothing, overdramatic speech, or by making theatrical entrances. Has insisted in always having the best of anything (house, car, jewelry, clothes) even when others are relegated to lesser facilities, amenities, or clothing. Doesn’t seem to listen well to needs of others, communication is usually one-way in the form of dictates. Haughtiness, grandiosity, and the need to be controlling is part of his personality. Behaves as though people are objects to be used, manipulated or exploited for personal gain. When criticized he tends to lash out not just with anger but with rage. Anyone who criticizes or questions him is called an “enemy.” Refers to non-members or non-believers in him as “the enemy.” Acts imperious at times, not wishing to know what others think or desire. Believes himself to be omnipotent. Has “magical” answers or solutions to problems. Is superficially charming. Habitually puts down others as inferior and only he is superior. Has a certain coldness or aloofness about him that makes others worry about who this person really is and or whether they really know him. Is deeply offended when there are perceived signs of boredom, being ignored or of being slighted. Treats others with contempt and arrogance. Is constantly assessing for those who are a threat or those who revere him. The word “I” dominates his conversations. He is oblivious to how often he references himself. Hates to be embarrassed or fail publicly - when he does he acts out with rage. Doesn’t seem to feel guilty for anything he has done wrong nor does he apologize for his actions. Believes he possesses the answers and solutions to world problems. Believes himself to be a deity or a chosen representative of a deity. Rigid, unbending, or insensitive describes how this person thinks. Tries to control others in what they do, read, view, or think. Has isolated members of his sect from contact with family or outside world. Monitors and or restricts contact with family or outsiders. Works the least but demands the most. Has stated that he is “destined for greatness” or that he will be “martyred.” Seems to be highly dependent of tribute and adoration and will often fish for compliments. Uses enforcers or sycophants to insure compliance from members or believers. Sees self as “unstoppable” perhaps has even said so. Conceals background or family which would disclose how plain or ordinary he is. Doesn’t think there is anything wrong with himself – in fact sees himself as perfection or “blessed.” Has taken away the freedom to leave, to travel, to pursue life, and liberty of followers. Has isolated the group physically (moved to a remote area) so as to not be observed. When the question is asked, “When do we know when a cult leader is bad, or evil, or toxic?” this is the list that I use to survey the cult leader for dangerous traits. http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/spycatcher/201208/dangerous- cult-leaders it must just be me. i love you all as i love myself |

eggzactamundo! But don't pick on just one guy that happens to be in the office right now. Let's just say....it doesn't matter who is in there. They all kow tow to the cash corporate cow. One side just does it smilingly convincingly to keep an image a little longer while the other party likes to pull the rugs out much faster to make you scramble harder until the next guy gets in there and evens out the bumps a little. However, they must all placate us with the cart and pony show another 15 yrs at least until the Japan rads have wiped most of us that live here out and new blood moves in from elsewhere. I imagine that will be their next focus...get some fresh blood in the country, whether from Russia, China or Mexico, they probably won't care, even though it will kill the old die-hard bigots. So they mess around a few years until many of them get voted out over other issues....and the plan continues. |
