From what I read in people's comments she and Rudd are corrupt and the people don't like them. I read that Rudd wasn't voted in but is taking Gillard's place since she got booted and he will only last until August. They don't expect any different or better out of the next one. |

Thanks very much again ABCDEFG. Yass, Rudd is very thick with the Chinese and is overt about it. I wouldnt be surprised if he's a double agent , as China muscled in on Australia years ago and is buying up so much real estate and land it's an abomination. Do you think I could go to China and buy up like this? Hell no. It's not allowed. From the Chinese criminal syndicates up through to the Triads and beyond Australia has been China-fied... Further to your comments Yass it was actually Julia Gillard and her own party faction who overthrew Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister of Australia several years back. Julia Gillard was never elected PM by Australian voters. She had to form a minority government just to stay in power. All on public record. Just this year, Kevin Rudd was reinstated as PM in an intra-party ballot but lost the election to the "mad monk" Tony Abbott. It's been a farce the last few years watching Rudd and Gillard. |

It's funny. I'd run across someone's comment that said something along the line that the reason they're wanting to ban tobacco (cigarettes) in Australia in favor of ecigs is because they're manufactured in China where the ecigarette industry is booming. The way it was expressed put me right in mind of your post here and I thought the person had the same thoughts in mind. I do not think tobacco should be banned. That would be taking it way too far. They can co-exist and people can make choices and try things when they have the opportunity to and would like to try them. It is scary to see where those in power are taking it. That Rudd has likely got some nicely lined pockets, perks, and prospects for his participation and role he uses to accomplish aims that might better serve not the people of Australia, but his nicely lined pockets, perks, prospects, and power. I personally have enjoyed trading with sellers in China over the years but that's not quite the same deal we're talking about here. |

Thanks Yass. Your post was very intriguing. Frankly it wouldnt surprise me if this whole E-Cig craze was tied in with the proposed tightening of tobacco laws here in Australia. Local government has implemented extreme measures as to 'where' people can and cannot smoke in public. I'm not a smoker personally but it's a person's choice if they want to suck on cigarettes knowing the risks involved...like any other choices we make about lifestyle day-to-day. FYI Rudd was previously Australian Foreign Minister and is very articulate and apparently fluent in Mandarin. He's very sharp when he speaks which I give him credit for...not a babbling mess even if the dialogue contains bullshit at various intervals. We all know the Chinese [& Koreans] love their cigarettes...but only in this world as we know it where IPhones rule , and all is virtual people would ditch cigarettes for an E-Cig!! Haha. |
